I have one in my bedroom, under my work desk and in the kitchen.. to be honest the price point is so low it's no second thought. I came from a single Honeywell tower filter using U models and.. ngl, the FÖRNUFTIG filter surface area and especially the density on the carbon gas filter is a WAY better value and performance than Honeywell's >_>
Sorry to hear that - it's a good product, but definitely not worth much more than what it's priced for here in Canada right now. And I couldn't agree more, the 2 individual filters is silly because you truly do need both!
Sadly not - it includes a particle filter and there’s an optional charcoal based gas filter available, but it’s not HEPA certified regardless how you use it.
There is new model STARKVIND, more expensive but cleaning is more efficent, has sensor built in and also can work with home automation. With this FÖRNUFTIG can I have installed 2 filters ?
Thanks for watching! Yes - this model can have both the standard and charcoal filter installed at the same time to filter out finer air particulates. The STARVIND is a larger and more powerful unit for sure, but the bigger size and round shape of it makes it less easy to integrate into existing home decor.
So, here is your problem. In testing the molekule is garbage and the ikea unit is far far far better. In fact, for a 3 stage filter and for the size of room it can handle, it is one of the very best filters you can get.

Thanks for watching - that's a big claim against the Honeywell product, you'd think for their price points they'd have a kick ass system!
@@ADesignersLife Honeywell uses a thin mesh of carbon on their U HEPA filters whereas IKEA has a full on thick waffer of it.. it's no contest.
Fonofte ( Fornuftig )
mean reasonable in danish and swedish :)
Thanks - reasonable it is!! :)
It’s more expensive here in the us, I noticed you absolutely need the carbon filter . It shouldn’t even be an option

At such an affordable price why not just get two for larger rooms. One at each end.
I'm actually making a trip to IKEA this weekend and may get another; at the time I got my first one they were really limited in stock.
Is it Hepa?

What’s the height with the legs?
Fully assembled with the legs, it’s 18 inches tall!

Thanks for watching and your input! I am hoping to be able to test another filter or two myself so I can do a better head-to-head comparison.
am i the only one that thinks the filter is not collecting any dust on it ?
Sorry to hear that - my filters are always filthy once I need to change them over!
