- It’s a new vlog series and we’re off to Florida in the May/June half-term for 10 nights!
It’s Day 1 and we head to Kennedy Space Center. We purchased a ticket and transport package with Orlando Attractions, with transport provided by Grayline Orlando before finishing the night with one of our favourite dinner spots at Universal Citywalk!

The Atlantis reveal and seeing it was the highlight of our entire Florida trip for my wife, she didn’t know an actual shuttle was there. It was a great day.

Absolutely loved watching this! So so interesting. Can’t believe how much there is to do there and how big it is. Definitely a bucket list thing I want to do next time we’re in Florida. Very helpful knowing there’s a bus you can book to take you there and back too ❤

It had been on our list for the longest time too but we always thought it was a bit out of reach without a car so glad we found an alternative solution! I’m with you Annie on the scepticism side. In a 1974 interview, Neil Armstrong didn’t know what Orion’s belt was 🤣 that was enough for me . Plus if anyone would go up again it would be Russia and they have agreed that you would never get threw orions belt. You’d just burn up . Tell a big enough lie and people will believe it 🤷♀️

The boat rides so nice from Royal Pacific. As you know we get a Villa and drive in normally but had a night in the Royal Pacific club level when we saw you in Feb, was ace - could hear hulk from just outside the foyer!
Doing a night (not club) again at Royal Pacific in August, 1 nights stay and 2 day’s express passes for 4 cost £232 with AP discount - well worthwhile 👍🏻

Ahh that sounds fab, great price too that you’ve got! How nice to be able to catch the boat whilst you’re there, we found it really relaxing and a nice way to head into the parks - would take that any day over a bus! 🤣
That looked amazing! I can see why you’d want to make it a two day, so much to see and lots of area to cover. I am wonder how did the simulation compare to your Mission Space experience? Probably less intense but now you can compare them. And you got to try Little Caesars.
Thanks for watching! It was such a great day, would love to revisit again one day to finish off the bits that we missed - there was just so much to see and do! I’ve never ridden on Mission Space (😱) but Pete has and says the simulator was much less intense, as you thought. I can be very sensitive to simulator style rides but these were absolutely fine for me so I’m glad I could take part. Ohhh Little Caesar’s was fab, we LOVED that garlic butter dip 🤣
I would love to know if the visit to Kennedy made a difference to your feelings on the subject of going to the moon? I was a sceptic when I went but now I understand it much more. Most amazing thing was we got to see a launch on our visit which was fabulous.

I’d like to do some more reading on it to educate myself further as there’s clearly so much to learn and understand but it definitely wavered my scepticism! Wow, a launch must have been amazing. We were one day shy from seeing one ourselves which was a shame! 😊
Great to see Kennedy Space Station, it's on our list for next time for sure! Watching this video I kept thinking it looked like a lot to do so was helpful to hear your thoughts about it at the end and potentially a 2 day attraction.
