Fool, America invented damn near ever modern musical genre. And damn near everything else. It'd be easier to name the things we didn't invent, so it's nearly impossible for other countries can't get through a day w/out accessing things uniquely American.

As far as the genres of music are concerned, yes America has been pivotal in the emergence of certain genres or in developing the popularity of other countries' unique music. It was really his further contention i was challenging, that America invented damn near everything else!!
