    Sir a silly question to clear doubt, how can current pass through shunt capacitance if there is no physical connection ?
    Will air get charge to establish connection ?

    A 3 unit insulator string is fitted with a guard ring. the capacitances of the links pins to metal work and guard ring can be assumed to 15% and 5% of the capacitance of each unit. Determine the voltage distribution and string efficiency.

      Sir I have doubt xc=1\π2fc,so nearest to the conductor should have more impedance ,that is possible when c is less as it is inversely proportional

      @@shashankkumar7770 current is inversely proportional to capacitive reactance and capacitive reactance is inversely proportional to capacitance so current is directly proportional to capacitance
