Remember, this Memorial Day, the brave airmen on all sides of The Great War! Life expectancy for those men was measured in weeks, and casualties were about 70%. ORA keeps their memory alive, and may the ORA aviators fly safe with the spirit of the fallen watching over them.

RIP- Don Pensa- Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Volunteer... ruclips.net/video/RPiz7upqfPw/видео.html Will be looking for someone to purchase Don's WWI flight suit and medals... I'll miss Don's stories of Old Rhinebeck. Don held his Old Rhinebeck experiences close to his heart and shared his stories with anyone that looked up to the sky with wonder. He was fast to break out a WWI song from the trenches, and sing them to the delight of the angels. The way Don talked of Rhinebeck, it was the time of his life. Thank you Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome for adding to the fabric of Don's life, in a wonderful way. Salute to the men that lived the time period, and to the men that continue to keep the time period, and planes, alive and flying.
