Mykal Ridikulus he means cause they take down powerhouse teams every time they play in it and were once a jc with mid level talent unlike osu oh and the last time osu was there they lost on a dumb defensive call bringing their safeties up to the line vs Texas
Lol what a joke to put Boise St and TCU against each other. The committee was scared that one of those teams were going to beat a power 5 team again in another BCS bowl game.
Yet then being in this game was completely fraudulent, as per the BCS bowl rules TCU should have played Cincinnati and Florida should have played Boise State. Yet it’s very widely believed that because of Utah raping Alabama in the Sugar Bowl in 2008, NOBODY wanted to play the MWC champion, and Boise State has a incredibly high reputation of beating Power 5 teams from 2004-2009. So they made them play together.
Ironically one could almost argue that this bowl game was the real national championship, Because: 1. It featured two undefeated teams 2. It was the only bowl game to feature two teams with Top 10 offenses and Top 10 defenses. 3. If Clemson had won the ACC championship game (they lost by 3), it would be the only bowl game featuring two teams that had beaten a Power 5 conference champion in the regular season
Beastmode 714 wouldn't call a 3x pro bowler bad. He just had a good season. Idk why u guys saying he sucks. Been a 7 year starter in the league and still playing. That's pretty successful if u ask me. Just didn't play well in the playoffs.
Why start at 2006, Utah busted the bcs first in 04 , then Boise st in 06, and Utah again in 08, TCU And the Boise game was a shame, they should have played different teams that year
They also lost to ULM, in Saban's first year. I know people like to think Bama is just this machine that has always been pumping. No, only since Saban has been there. Before him, they were IRRELEVANT for almost 20 years. When he leaves, they will return to "meh". Everything is a big cycle. Having one team dominate, in any sport, is not healthy for that sport. That team's fans love it sure, the rest of us...are just tired of hearing about them. Fuck Alabama, and that stupid elephant.
Thing to remember is that these games mattered to the group of 5 teams because they were the biggest games they ever played but they didn't matter to the Power 5 teams because they were disappointed to be there.
What a bunch of BS.... So Wisconsin doesn’t care about the rose bowl? Boise State has been to the fiesta bowl 4 times, you think another one is gonna be super exciting... UCF has now played in the Peach Bowl 3 times, you think they were psyched to play in a bowl they had been in multiple times before when they played Auburn?
I still cant believe Boise State is not a Power 5 school. It's kind of ridiculous. I'm a die hard Utah Utes fan and I still admit Boise deserved the Pac-12 invite just as much, if not more than Utah did. Yes, my Utes had two perfect undefeated seasons where they blew out both BCS Bowl Games in '04 and '08, including one of them against Saban's Bama, but I still think Boise State deserves to be a Power 5 School. They are all throughout the video, that's kind of saying something.
Honestly it really is stupid, I'm a Nevada Wolf Pack fan so we play them every year and they're consistently a conference championship contender EASILY. Every. Single. Year. Without fail for something like 15 years straight now. Boise is really too good for the Mountain West anymore, the Pac-12 needs to bring them up so they can get more talent in the mix. I mean this season, they had USC and Washington play a good season, but everybody else was kinda "meh". Boise would change that.
You're no Utah fan. Utah deserved that invite far more than one trick pony in Boise. There's more than one sport, chuckles. Obviously you have no idea what it takes to get a conference invite. You're not too bright.
Hey, there's more one than sport, dumb ass. Boise St will never get a PAC 12 invite. Boise St's academics are shit, and the rest of their sports suck. Boise is also a small market that does nothing to add to the conference. Boise St is no where near the talent level of the PAC 12. Where are you getting this 15 years straight bullshit? Boise St hasn't been in the conference 15 years, and has missed several conference championship games. Too good for Mountain West? lulz, you're a fucking idiot.
Pro Sports Central the American still had an automatic berth to a bcs bowl in 2013. They were a technical successor to the big East and held onto it until the bcs ended. Thus ucf was able to get a bcs bowl while having a loss.
Pro Sports Central putting Central Florida on here was great no mistake about it but I do have a question regarding TCU and Wisconsin in that Rose Bowl I thought TCU was a part of the Big 12 or were they part of a different conference at that time?
remember when the MWC was pretty much a power 5 conference with TCU, Utah, and BSU, then the NCAA said that they cant have that and left BSU to be discredited every year bc they play against high school teams. I remember
That year Oregon was taken in the championship over TCU, which was 100% BS. Since the Pac10 champion wasn’t going to play in the Rose bowl, rules dictated that if a Non-AQ team was ranked higher than the next in line Pac10 team then they would go. TCU was #3 and Stanford was #5, which is why TCU played Wisconsin. Although TCU really should have played Auburn in the national championship.
Zipin Dotz well they are inconsistent, but that's because all their good coaches leave for better high paying jobs, in bigger conferences, if they were to be a power 5 school they could be a powerhouse
UCFs bid was an automatic bid. American was the big east and got the auto bid for one year. In fucking sick and tired of the american and UCF counting that as a NY6 game
The problem with these games is that it’s lose lose for the Power 5 team, if the win, so what? But if they lose, they’re terrible. There’s very little motivation in most cases for the favorite. Still a great video though!
Jackson Carcaba are you kidding? The players shouldn’t listen to the media or the people that aren’t even fans across the country. They should listen to themselves, the coaches, and he fans. Fans pay a lot of money to see you win your bowl game. As players they should be ashamed if they didn’t give it they’re all. They shouldn’t let themselves down because it’s not the Natty. And plus the coaches and players certainly don’t want to look like dog shit. It’s honestly a sorry excuse that people use for when these teams get beat by G5 teams
I apologize for making myself unclear, I totally agree with you and teams should not just give up and play for the fans, but unfortunately players do not see it this way and they don't find it worth their time unless they are playing in a big game
In the history of BCS bowls, group of five teams are 8-3 against power five teams. Why then do people keep expecting the power five team to blow the group of five team out of the water? Maybe that talent gap isn't as wide as people think.
Johnny The Fish im a boise state fan and if we arent in power 5 by now im not sure we will every be. I mean yeah we have been good the past few years but we haven't been a good top 10 team in 6 years. I just hope we can bounce back.

Boise state had MANY chances to join the PAC 12, they are a bunch of pussies though, hate to break it to hall, they'd rather beat up Hawaii and Fresno every year, but now they can barely even accomplish that. I hate TCU but at least they manned up.
I thought Boise and TCU playing in a BCS bowl was pointless at the time. We didn’t want to see the two best G5 schools play each other, we wanted to see the two best G5 schools play two of the best P5 schools.
If Big East teams aren't included then there shouldn't have been C. Florida against Baylor in the Fiesta. Secondly if you wanted to include C. Florida as a G-5 you should have included the Peach Bowl. UCF was in the Big East.
I want to see UCF v Alabama in the Peach Bowl as the group of 5 bowl and I wanna se UCF win cause of that cool handless dude and it would make Saban mad
I think Houston would be a better fit because most of the big 12 teams (mainly the texas ones) were all in the same conference as Houston in the 90's. 2015 sucked. First day of the year, we lost the worst game in school history ( at that time ) to Oregon. A shot for a repeat National Championship obliterated. Halfway through the 15 season, we lose to Georgia Tech on a blocked field goal as time expired. I was there for that one. GT finished 3-9 btw. osubucknut100 well at one point they did have Virginia Tech and Miami when they were really good. The Big East just slowly lost their best teams as time went on
People always said that, but every year we beat the other conference's ass in the BCS bid game. So, no. Even if you want to say SEC, Big 10, PAC was better (obviously true), you can't seriously say the ACC was better. WVU was far better than any ACC or SEC team from 2005-2007, and the Big East was def better than the ACC top to bottom until realignment.
might as well call the Fiesta Bowl the Boise Bowl
QS Awesomeness 2007
FAXXX
Boise State is 3-0.
Penn State is 7-0.
Ohio State has been there the most.
But I'm always going to remember Boise States appearances.
QS Awesomeness 2002/2003 BCS National Championship Fiesta Bowl is arguably one of the greatest games and upsets of all time.
Mykal Ridikulus he means cause they take down powerhouse teams every time they play in it and were once a jc with mid level talent unlike osu oh and the last time osu was there they lost on a dumb defensive call bringing their safeties up to the line vs Texas
8:49 god I love this. Rich Rod's despair brings me joy.
Why didn't you start with the first BCS buster: Utah 2005 Fiesta Bowl?
Coz he's an dumbass
Because tbh Boise State vs Louisville was a better game than Utah vs Pitt
Lol what a joke to put Boise St and TCU against each other. The committee was scared that one of those teams were going to beat a power 5 team again in another BCS bowl game.
that was the real national championship that year🤣
In the Boise State vs TCU Tostitos bowl, both teams were Group 5 teams at the time
and that was one of the biggest nods to how good they both were/are
Yet then being in this game was completely fraudulent, as per the BCS bowl rules TCU should have played Cincinnati and Florida should have played Boise State.

Boise State & the fisesta bowl just make a perfect match!
Utah wins once. Pac 12 bid. TCU wins once. Big 12 bid. Boise State, two decades of dominance. 3 Fiesta Bowls. Still in the MW smh
Utah won twice
Mark My Words: One day there will be a G5 team that will win the National Championship
Forgot how good Andy Dalton was back in college
Too bad he's terrible now😂
Kellen Moore was good for the Broncos but not for the Lions or Cowboys
Beastmode 714 he ain’t, he’s just above average
There are alot of guys who had great college careers who went on to be average in the NFL. The level of play is a different animal...
Beastmode 714 wouldn't call a 3x pro bowler bad. He just had a good season. Idk why u guys saying he sucks. Been a 7 year starter in the league and still playing. That's pretty successful if u ask me. Just didn't play well in the playoffs.
I miss when every network had hella Bowl Games
For those NFL big bucks and conference packages, something's gotta give. Hell, CBS will lose the SEC after 2024
Chris Peterson is a legend for those play calls
funny story, those calls were actually made by the backup quarterback. the whole team lit up when he suggested it and Ian got famous and engaged...
UCF was actually in the American (formerly the big east) in 2013. Which was still an automatic BCS conference at that time.
Why start at 2006, Utah busted the bcs first in 04 , then Boise st in 06, and Utah again in 08, TCU And the Boise game was a shame, they should have played different teams that year
I had no clue that Bama lost to Utah lmao
Luke_Ario13 yep every team has those embarrassing losses, bama fans just never talks about it lol
They also lost to ULM, in Saban's first year. I know people like to think Bama is just this machine that has always been pumping. No, only since Saban has been there. Yeah they didn't lose they got murdered bro
Luke_Ario13 why I don't remember this game
When Meyer was a coach there too
Thing to remember is that these games mattered to the group of 5 teams because they were the biggest games they ever played but they didn't matter to the Power 5 teams because they were disappointed to be there.

Wait...why not of all time? Utah did it before Boise.
At lease Georgia won the Sugar Bowl over Hawaii Warriors.
Video = Boise State highlight reel
Conclusion: BSU is fun to watch.
Forgot Utah in 2004
Man, as a Utah fan, watching the Alabama game in the Super Dome was the best thing ever!
cyclopsjrg and we finally got recognized as the 2008 nation champs
National*
Lol, as an Alabama fan , winning 6 national championships in 11 years has been great
@@camjones3723 bandwagon
Wasn't TCU in the MWC and BSU in the WAC when that game was played?
Daniel Rigby yes. So either way, that game would make this list.
Greg Hart: oh I was thinking it had to be over a power five team
Boise fan for life
What's funny is that both Utah and TCU are now members of the Power 5 group.
Go Broncos! Bleed Blue!!
i live in utah, so this is like the one good sports moment we have lol
You left out the very first BCS Bust.... Why?
Eazy Fratto cuz I did
Pro Sports Central turrible

Whatever you say, squirt.
boise state all day!!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!
2007 fiesta bowl best college football game ever
Should have gone back to 2004 and showed Utah beating Pitt. The original BCS busting bowl win.
Wisconsin should have never lost to tcu
6:12, Bortles running ability has translated well to the NFL, it's his throwing ability that is a huge question mark
I’m boise State fan I enjoyed this
As a Boise state fan (before we beat Oklahoma) this is a joy, like added
Conor the lions fan #OnePride Joy same
Sooner fan. I gained mad respect for the Broncos after this. You know they have the best winning percentage in college football this decade?
Spread offense Utah 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥
GO ORANGE GO BIG BLUE FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT BSU
Thanks for watching! (Sorry I made a mistake putting UCF)
great video great channel
check my channel

Most underrated sports RUclipsr
I agree
Thanks bro
true
For sure
He posts a video from 2006, and he's underrated? Hahahaha!!!!
remember when the MWC was pretty much a power 5 conference with TCU, Utah, and BSU, then the NCAA said that they cant have that and left BSU to be discredited every year bc they play against high school teams.
I remember
I could never get tired of seeing ou lose to Boise, makes my beard warm every time.
Tcu wasn’t a group of five school. Rose bowl is always big ten vs pac 12
That year Oregon was taken in the championship over TCU, which was 100% BS.
Since the Pac10 champion wasn’t going to play in the Rose bowl, rules dictated that if a Non-AQ team was ranked higher than the next in line Pac10 team then they would go.

Although TCU really should have played Auburn in the national championship.
Isn’t TCU a big 12 team?
They were in the Mountain West at the time
The Utes beat Alabama. Ironic.
Jim Wright why is that ironic?
2014 onward is not BCS era games
West Virginia had the best win in this category and you DIDN'T include the Big East...
The big east used to be AQ so it doesn’t count
I didn’t know Utah was group of five back then
Needs to be updated after UCF over Auburn last year
7:37 Wow, Brutal stiff arm. Boise Mode Enabled
Utah is pac 12
you guys think Houston should join the big 12?
Vaughn Krinhop yes
For sure
No because they are to inconsistent but the team we see the most should get a stadium expansion and move to the pac-12
Nope for Zipin Dotz reason
Zipin Dotz well they are inconsistent, but that's because all their good coaches leave for better high paying jobs, in bigger conferences, if they were to be a power 5 school they could be a powerhouse
UCFs bid was an automatic bid. American was the big east and got the auto bid for one year. In fucking sick and tired of the american and UCF counting that as a NY6 game
As a BOISE ST FAN, idk what else we gotta do to prove that we belong. Still not putting us in bigger conferences. Shame.
Really don't understand why tcu and noise state never got a natty game after they already proved themselves. Hopefully they will finally make it
The problem with these games is that it’s lose lose for the Power 5 team, if the win, so what? But if they lose, they’re terrible. There’s very little motivation in most cases for the favorite. Still a great video though!

Wasn’t UCF a big east team?
DWDrummer they joined what is now the American Athletic Conference after separating from the Big East, and that is considered a group of 5 conference
In the history of BCS bowls, group of five teams are 8-3 against power five teams. Why then do people keep expecting the power five team to blow the group of five team out of the water? Maybe that talent gap isn't as wide as people think.
Isn’t much difference anymore. It’s all mythical BS like college football itself. It’s even worse with The playoff system.
It does kinda suck that Boise State hasn’t joined the PAC 12, cause they have more than proven their ability to win/compete on a big stage.
In 2013 the AAC got an auto bid to a BCS bowl... so UCF shouldn’t be on here.
Just a matter of time until UCF and Boise become Power 5 teams.
Johnny The Fish im a boise state fan and if we arent in power 5 by now im not sure we will every be. I mean yeah we have been good the past few years but we haven't been a good top 10 team in 6 years. I just hope we can bounce back.

Dustin Kingsbury Boise is a great football school but they don’t have a great athletic department outside of that which holds them back
Boise state had MANY chances to join the PAC 12, they are a bunch of pussies though, hate to break it to hall, they'd rather beat up Hawaii and Fresno every year, but now they can barely even accomplish that. I hate TCU but at least they manned up.
I agree I think Boise st should join the Big 12 and UCF should join the ACC
This makes it look like Boise was the original BCS buster... Come on! Utes in 2004!
Doug Martin in college😲 I feel so old
Damn that ucf team was stacked.....
Oklahoma state vs Stanford,
ASU deserved to lose the Fiesta Bowl vs Boise St for wearing those uniforms...
So happy UCF beat Baylor lol
Nikolai P. Culp lol the good ole days before they were claiming nattys 😌
Gavin Mosley UCF never got a natty
So proud of those Boise steak horses🦄🦄
I too like Boise Steak Horses. Taste good too.
The College Football Playoff Committee should watch this video. UCF should get a shot against the big boys, non power 5 teams have done it before
Lol 2009 season Fiesta bowl Mountain West vs The WAC
Caleb Wulfekuhle #4 vs. #6, can’t say they didn’t deserve it.
Greg Hart I know, just saying you don’t usually see that in a BCS game
Either of those teams on that year could have upseted a bigger team. But the committee didnt want to see that happen lol
I thought Boise and TCU playing in a BCS bowl was pointless at the time. We didn’t want to see the two best G5 schools play each other, we wanted to see the two best G5 schools play two of the best P5 schools.
Go utes
I've seen middle school fb programs conduct better play/clock management then Arizona did at the end of the game
Power 5 teams dread seeing Boise in the Fiesta Bowl
Guesss you could call the fiesta bowl the group of 5 bowl
I want to see Ucf v Alabama in the peach bowl
That’s cuz the top non power 5 get to go to the fiesta bowl or any of the new year bowls
Peach BOWL
2006? Uploaded in 2017?
Live in the past much?. There have been a whole lost of beatings in bowls by the Group of 5 since then.
Richie A. I don’t know what this comment means
If Big East teams aren't included then there shouldn't have been C. Florida against Baylor in the Fiesta. Secondly if you wanted to include C. Florida as a G-5 you should have included the Peach Bowl. UCF was in the Big East.
How do you edit these videos? I understand if you don't want to share your strategy loo
+Air Walk iMovie
Every heartbreaking moment for Georgia in the last 10 years
Arizona was once relevent?
Boise State needs to join the Big 12
was Utah not in the Pac-12 yet ?
Boise State deserved to play in a Power 5 conference.
No
Yup
I want to see UCF v Alabama in the Peach Bowl as the group of 5 bowl and I wanna se UCF win cause of that cool handless dude and it would make Saban mad
Legandary Clash that would never happen A because UCF is overrated and B because the Peach Bowl is the national championship
Joshua Kelley Peach Bowl is still there
Joshua Kelley New Years 6 this year is
Orange bowl, Cotton bowl, peach bowl, fiesta bowl. Playoffs are Rose bowl and sugar bowl.
Legandary Clash Alabama would blow UCF out of the park it would be 45-17 at best
Boise State and Houston are the only consistent good group of 5 teams
Take Kansas out of the big 12 and put UCF in
Kansas brings in the big time basketball money though
Alex Archer but they’re football team is just pure, unwashed booty
John Lockwood III not in 07 they weren't lol
I think Houston would be a better fit because most of the big 12 teams (mainly the texas ones) were all in the same conference as Houston in the 90's. Houston is good enough, and it would geographically make sense. UCF would make a good ACC team with florida state and miami to play every year as rivals.
RIP Big 12 basketball
Beautiful. Will never get tired of watching Utah vs. Alabama.
Yay my idea
You forgot the original BSC busters. 2004 Utah :(
Never Back down ikr
ya but they beat a trash pitt team
Those aren’t the blackout ones are they?
UCF got an automatic bid when the beat Baylor.
I watched 5:27
You should have included the most important bcs bowl win..the first one. Utah paved the way for little teams like Boise and UCF
they beat a trash pitt team
Not really. The argument was started several years prior. The following teams made the argument for why Group 5 teams should be in the BCS:
1997 Tulane
1998 Marshall
2002 Boise State
2003 Miami Ohio
2003 Boise State
Even in 2004 when Utah was dominate they weren’t the only dominating G5 team. Boise State and Louisville also went 12-1, with Boise State losing on the road to Arkansas and Louisville losing on the road to #9 Miami. Granted Utah was a phenomenal team that year - likely much better than their 2008 team.
However, the best G5 team of the BCS era statistically was 2010 Boise State.
Whyd you leave out the very first bowl buster?
Because it was in 2004 and nobody remembers Utah’s win but everyone remembers the Boise State win cause it was more remember able
Memorable*
Zipin Dotz doesn’t mean they are the first BCS buster? Utah started it all. And 2008 Utah is definitely the best BCS buster so they have the very first and the best
Zipin Dotz well since u brought it up I think people remember it still.
Yeah I was there at that miserable lost to Houston by FSU
2015 sucked. First day of the year, we lost the worst game in school history ( at that time ) to Oregon. A shot for a repeat National Championship obliterated. Halfway through the 15 season, we lose to Georgia Tech on a blocked field goal as time expired. I was there for that one. GT finished 3-9 btw. kalebpost20 um just gotta say 🙌 lol
WHEN WAS ARIZONA GOOD😟
You missed UCF (C- USA at the time) beating Georgia in the Liberty Bowl
liberty bowl /= major bowl
Y'all remember when Blake Bortles was good? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
Damn it if you included the big east WVU could of been in here three times
Jeremy Blake I swear the Big East made everybody question their status as a BCS conference during the regular season but once it was BCS bowl time they kicked ass
Why would they include that? Old Big East was Power 5, not G5.
Jack M They were in between. Sorry, but Cincinasty and Rutgers and Pittsburgh can't be the premier teams of a conference, WVU had some alright years, and I definitely rooted for Rutgers in their 2006 dream year, but the Big East was not a good conference ever
osubucknut100 well at one point they did have Virginia Tech and Miami when they were really good.
The Houston one wasn’t even BCS
Oh well
Well duh the big east wasn't included. Anyone that wouldn't recognized that didn't watch sports before conference realingment.
Jack M trust there would've been people asking where the Big East Games are
