Thank you brother. These verses recently popped into my mind and caused me so much anxiety and distress for many days. This is a wonderful explanation and gives me sonmuch peace. Thank you.
That was good!! It seems there’s 2 types of Believers regarding this subject, the charismatics that go way overboard and the cessationist believing certain gifts have ceased such as healing and deliverance. I think we must have a very spiritual mature approach on this matter, I work in the medical field, I have prayed for many, watched many pass, God has given special instruction at times to pray a healing prayer over someone and I’ve seen them healed. I’m a Baptist, I get so much grief over this, I’m heretical, I’m not using correct context. I feel like it’s either all or nothing, I know that God can use anyone, He can heal/deliver anyone, he might use me, he may not. Some go overboard and some don’t want to talk about it. Thanks for this video, it helped clear up some misconceptions for mw.
The deserning of spirits is the holy spirit, gives you the eyes, and feel to see and feel in the spirit things not seen in the flesh, but spirit,to desern what spirit is present,if it is God's or a decieving spirit,it tells you and show's you in spirit! The truth!turn to Jesus Christ and you will be given power over the enemy! Only thru Christ Jesus, alone!
Because I don’t believe all the experiences claimed to be from God, people get really mad at me. My logic is simple. I have observed people lying more than I have observed the miraculous.

Thanks. Yes been listening to alot of teachings about the Word of Faith movement and the creeping in of New thought beliefs into our churches. It is sometimes confusing as there are scriptures that seem to confirm that yes, words are important, faith comes through hearing, signs will accompany believers etc. But again so many verses are taken in isolation and sometimes not even in context at all. This specific passage has been bothering me and you have helped to put it into perspective.
There are instances to where the Word does set a pattern that applies to all believers. It's known as The Law Of Repetition. This law states that the Word will repeat something said three times in order to direct our attention to an important spiritual truth. Three times only in the scriptures we have circumstances to where we are shown examples of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what occured the moment that they recieved, Acts ch.2, 20, and ch.19. Each time what happened the moment that they recieved was that they all spoke in tongues. Another example of the Law of repetition operating is in Acts ch.2. When the believers in the day of Pentecost recieved the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. Three times the men in the crowd wondered how it was that they heard what the believers were saying in their native languages. Our English word " tongues" in the new testaments' original Greek is singular not plural and means " another language" and " a language". Thus when the believers spoke in " tongues" the all began speaking in the same one language. The reason the Word repeats those in the crowd wondering how they were hearing what the believers were saying in their native languages three times is because they were Hearing what the believers were saying in one language in their individual native languages. This is an example of " tongues" being a sign for unbelievers, the men in the crowd.
These signs were promised to the apostolic community (Mt 10:1; 2Co 12:12), not all believers in all ages (cf. 1Co 12:29, 30). All (with the exception of drinking poison) were experienced by some in the apostolic church and reported in Scripture (e.g., Ac 28:5), but not afterward (cf. v. 20).
Heresy. These signs shall follow ALL them that believe, not SOME that believe. As a witness to deliverance, and as one who has experienced it, to say the gifts ceased is heretical - and, yes, blasphemous.
Very good video. My research pointed to the same bullet points. However, there is 1 major thing that was left out (GODS COMMANDS) Keeping His Commands is a sign that we belong to Him and that we Love Him.👍 His Commands are not dead, done away with, or to be disregarded. LOVE yall!
The Bible says that, speaking in other languages,is the sign of receiving the holy spirit in us, not to them that believe, but for them, that believe not!
We must come to understand what was happening in Acts, God's message was being preached and the Lord gave Peter and the others the ability to speak different languages, most of us believe that it was a phonetic language, not some mysterious language, but one that could be translated, that's why Paul later says in 1st Corinthians 14:27-28 that there must be a translator or the speaker should be quiet and speak to himself and God.
So around 2:15 in the video you said that we will find evidence that not every believer had these signs. Plz show me the evidence 🙏🏽 I’ve read all your “examples of scripture” and there is no evidence saying they did not have these signs of mark 16:17,18! I am implying that even the 3000 could have still showed the signs of mark 16:17,18. The Bible just doesn’t say they showed the signs but it also doesn’t say that they DID NOT show the signs so where is the evidence? Hope this makes sense
Yes, don't twist the scripture. It doesn't say all believers would perform these signs. It only says that these signs follow believers. It's important to learn what an implication is. For example saying "When it rains people take an umbrella with them", doesn't mean that everyone has an umbrella with them when it rains. What you do is making the claim that "signs follow believers" means "all believers perform signs". This is a logical fallacy, because you use the inversion of the argument to come to this conclusion. But you can't reverse that sentence without adding information that wasn't there before.

What you are saying is NOT completely accurate. In 1Corinthians 12:8-10 the spiritual gifts are absolutely valid for today and always! And in 1Cor 14:1 Paul says they should be earnestly desired and he himself moved in these gifts as all Christians can IF they desire and believe in them. In Romans 15:18-19 Paul says that his ministry in leading Gentiles to Christ was due to obeying God by what I SAY and DO and by the power of signs and wonders through the power of the Spirit of God. Just because one is not healed doesn’t make the Word of God or power of Holy Spirit of no effect! We are only validated as Christians by Romans 10:9-10 when we confess and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead…this is a two-fold salvation…for one believes with the heart and is justified, AND one confesses with the mouth and so is saved! But we were given that great commission in Mark 16:14-18 so we would understand that whatever Jesus did, we could do and greater works as well (John 14:12). Jesus also stated in that verse “…he who believes in Me the works that I do he will do also and greater works than these because I go to the Father”. We are to be Jesus on this Earth! That’s the Christian calling! But one does need to believe in the fullness of Christ and not pick and choose what we want to walk in. Also, remember right before the commission in Mark, Jesus rebuked His disciples for their unbelief and hardness of heart because they could not believe Jesus rose from the dead as He also rebuked disciples for not being able to cast out a demon (Luke 9 because they were not in prayer and fasting which strengthens our faith to walk in the power of the Spirit to do miracles as Jesus could. Disciples were also rebuked when they didn’t understand about the miracle of fish and loaves to feed thousands because they believed the doctrine of the Pharisees (Matthew 16:1-12) In summary, Romans 10:9-10 and belief in that scripture is what validates true Christians BUT we must fulfill all we are called to, including the gifts of the Spirit.

It says nothing of God continuing to work in this manner and it certainly doesn't imply that "when a person teaches on healing, God will confirm it with signs following."
