Because I don’t believe all the experiences claimed to be from God, people get really mad at me. My logic is simple. I have observed people lying more than I have observed the miraculous.
Go to a deliverance ministry. Have your own demons cast out.

Or, a demon that’s not there would make you believe he was there. It’s kind of like the guy making strange movements on the sidewalk. When asked why he did it, he replies: “To keep the elephants away.”

Without any objective way to determine whether a demon is there are not, it could easily be a fantasy or a delusion. You would think if I had a demon, they would prevent me from reading the Bible, attending church or praying in Jesus’s name. But somehow you guys just “know.” Whether anything is there or not, I have to rely on someone who claims he has discernment. Like the schizophrenic.
Thanks. Yes been listening to alot of teachings about the Word of Faith movement and the creeping in of New thought beliefs into our churches. It is sometimes confusing as there are scriptures that seem to confirm that yes, words are important, faith comes through hearing, signs will accompany believers etc. But again so many verses are taken in isolation and sometimes not even in context at all. This specific passage has been bothering me and you have helped to put it into perspective.

There are instances to where the Word does set a pattern that applies to all believers. It's known as The Law Of Repetition. This law states that the Word will repeat something said three times in order to direct our attention to an important spiritual truth.
Three times only in the scriptures we have circumstances to where we are shown examples of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what occured the moment that they recieved, Acts ch.2, 20, and ch.19. Each time what happened the moment that they recieved was that they all spoke in tongues.
Another example of the Law of repetition operating is in Acts ch.2. When the believers in the day of Pentecost recieved the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. Three times the men in the crowd wondered how it was that they heard what the believers were saying in their native languages.
Our English word " tongues" in the new testaments' original Greek is singular not plural and means " another language" and " a language". Thus when the believers spoke in " tongues" the all began speaking in the same one language.
The reason the Word repeats those in the crowd wondering how they were hearing what the believers were saying in their native languages three times is because they were Hearing what the believers were saying in one language in their individual native languages.
This is an example of " tongues" being a sign for unbelievers, the men in the crowd.

The verse does not carry interpretation. Why do you distort the words from their place? The verse says that it is one of the signs of the believers
These signs were promised to the apostolic community (Mt 10:1; 2Co 12:12), not all believers in all ages (cf. 1Co 12:29, 30). All (with the exception of drinking poison) were experienced by some in the apostolic church and reported in Scripture (e.g., Ac 28:5), but not afterward (cf. v. 20).
Heresy. These signs shall follow ALL them that believe, not SOME that believe.
As a witness to deliverance, and as one who has experienced it, to say the gifts ceased is heretical - and, yes, blasphemous.
Drinking poison or picking snakes is never intended to be intentional. I was once food poisoned and claimed this verse.

Yes, don't twist the scripture. It doesn't say all believers would perform these signs. It only says that these signs follow believers.
It's important to learn what an implication is.
For example saying "When it rains people take an umbrella with them", doesn't mean that everyone has an umbrella with them when it rains.
What you do is making the claim that "signs follow believers" means "all believers perform signs". This is a logical fallacy, because you use the inversion of the argument to come to this conclusion. But you can't reverse that sentence without adding information that wasn't there before.
The Bible says that, speaking in other languages,is the sign of receiving the holy spirit in us, not to them that believe,but for them,that believe not!
We must come to understand what was happening in Acts, God's message was being preached and the Lord gave Peter and the others the ability to speak different languages, most of us believe that it was a phonetic language, not some mysterious language, but one that could be translated, that's why Paul later says in 1st Corinthians 14:27-28 that there must be a translator or the speaker should be quiet and speak to himself and God.
Beware verses that are not from God's teaching like Mark 16:18, Of course if you drink poison you can die. I believe that the translator try to complete the book of Mark by adding the missing verses (9-20) I believe. You can do nothing if you walk away from me, God said...
So around 2:15 in the video you said that we will find evidence that not every believer had these signs. Plz show me the evidence 🙏🏽 I’ve read all your “examples of scripture” and there is no evidence saying they did not have these signs of mark 16:17,18! I am implying that even the 3000 could have still showed the signs of mark 16:17,18. The Bible just doesn’t say they showed the signs but it also doesn’t say that they DID NOT show the signs so where is the evidence? Hope this makes sense

That was ALL the LEAVEN the SCRIBES added, was NOT in original manuscripts! In fact the two OLDEST manuscripts only have mark 16:1-8.
And it literally CONTRADICTS the Word of God in

You are calling Jesus a liar, because He said these signs will follow THE BELIEVERS, Jesus also said THE BELIEVERS will do the same works that He did.

If you carry on reading Mk 16, you'll see that it says God works with His word and confirms it, so when a person teaches on healing, God will confirm it with signs following, and in this case, by healing, faith for healing comes by hearing the healing scriptures and God will always heal those who have faith.

Actually when you read the rest of Mark 16 you'll see that "they [the apostles] went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs." The Lord "worked with them" - who did he work with? The apostles. And when did he do it? In the past. Context matters. It says nothing of God continuing to work in this manner and it certainly doesn't imply that "when a person teaches on healing, God will confirm it with signs following." And where do you get this idea that "God will always heal those who have faith"? Are you implying that Timothy and Trophimus didn't have faith? Because God didn't heal them. This idea is a slap in the face to the many Christians out there who have health issues who pray to God regularly and aren't healed. To say that God would heal them only if they had enough faith is cruel and misleading. Your comment, as usual, claims too much and substantiates too little.
@@thespiritsearches The word, "Them" in Mk 16: 20, is italicised, which means it wasn't In the original Greek.
This is how it reads,
They went and preached everywhere, The Lord WORKING WITH AND CONFIRMING HIS WORD.
God hasn't changed, He still confirmes His word with signs following. No matter who is preaching it.
In Matt 28: 20, Jesus told His disciples to tell people to observe all the things that I have commanded you.
Jesus commanded His disciples to,
" Raise the dead, heal the sick and cast out demons" .
Which goes along with Mk 16: 17--18. The believers shall speak in tongues and heal the sick.
It wasn't just the 12 Apostles, it was the 70 and all His disciples that had the authority to heal the sick, In fact, when Jesus sent the 70 out, He said that's not enough, pray that God will send more out.
Please note, the Bible doesn't say that Timothy or Trophimus didn't get healed at a later date, they might have done, I've known people who after they heard about healing,
and we're ministered to, didn't receive until months later, but wether people receive healing or not, it doesn't change God or His word.
Plus, just because people fail to receive healing, it doesn't change God or His word.
If you ever read and believe the Bible, you'll see that all the people the had faith, were healed, God never changes, He still heals anyone who has faith.
Not only does God always heal, but Jesus has ALREADY healed us.
Isaiah 53: 3--5. Matt 8: 16--17. 1 Pet 2: 24. James 5: 14: 15.
As for those people you say have prayed regularly for healing, just proves that they don't have faith to receive healing, because faith only needs one prayer, the 2nd 3rd and so on are doubt and they are insulting God, saying He didn't do it.
There are reasons why people fail to receive healing.
No knowledge of healing, God said His people were destroyed because they had no knowledge, but Jesus said knowing tye truth will make us free.
No faith, see how many times that Jesus said thing's like, "Thy faith has healed you, or according to your faith".
Sin, disobedience and unforgiveness, they will always hinder healing and other blessings from God.
They are just 3 reasons why people fail to receive healing.
Healing, just a salvation, has already been provided, and just a people receive salvation, they can receive healing anytime they have faith.
