Thank you!! that's God's country. Wish I had my old manual pentax. would that one day I could afford one of those Leica M6's//and an excellent digital. (didn't know what a go-pro was for. now I do.) I really loved every second of it. Having the vocals is outstanding. Drums as you moved into desert knocked my sox off. I ache to spend some time in the desert. Thank you again. Art & Adventure makes my morning!
Patience is a great virtue!😀 I see You have lots if it, Ben. There were some beautiful nature shots that I liked but what I really like is: to see You in action. Drone filmning and the 'frog perspective" filming were so good! 👍
Thanks for this video. I really enjoyed it and it inspired me to put some TMax 100 in my M6 tomorrow. I haven't used it in months since I purchased my Q2. Even thought about selling it. We'll see.....
your work is refreshing, both the video and your stills, the music, the voiceovers, all good, and to be honest, the duck stuff was not doing it for me, I thought it was a bit lame......until it all turned a bit feral, and then wow, there’s your lesson right there !
Really appreciate that Steve! Maybe I should tease more but I really just like to reward the folks that stick around. Heh! Thanks for taking the time man.
Great question Anthony. I send my film to TheDarkroom.com. Been using them for over 5 years now. I really need to get set up to develop and scan my own, I’m just worried about the time suck. Thanks for stopping by.
I really enjoyed this, Ben. I liked the pacing and the voiceover. Watching from outside of London, it’s great to see a glimpse of a different part of the world. I’ve explored the coast from SF north, but I’ve not had the chance to visit the south of the state, it looks beautiful. Do mind me asking who makes the quick release clips on your camera strap?
Thanks very much Nigel! It’s a Simplr strap and I love it. simplr.us - I’ve got a video coming very soon about the strap. If you want to order one try the code “staley” for a small discount. Great straps! Cheers.
Duck whisperer, you ain't. I like the images from up the trail especially the grasses. Might be tempted to run amok with the sliders in light room on the scans of the close ups - up the exposure lots and wind down the clarity so all you have is vague shapes - recognisable shapes, but a bit more abstract - or maybe that's just me...... :-)
Excellent photo walk! I loved the walking through the grass. Reminds me of my birthplace. Flowers and backlight! Super!
Thank ya!!

LOVE the
flower pics. Took some yesterday..Crocus growing wild. That's what happens when you let the leaves lie. :)
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Those last few B&W flower shots and the landscapes were amazing
Thanks so much Travis!

Awesome!!! Thank you Chuck!
Summicron goodness!! Oh man, how much I wish that was my back yard. Lions, coyotes, and all.
Haha, it doesn't suck man.

Hi, nice work, thanks for sharing! By the way I love the flares 👍🏻❗️
Thank you! Flares!
Cool shots! You've inspired me to experiment with my flare...

8:25 that transitionnnnn water to land :)
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Would that "favorite" transition happen to be the ducks swimming by, followed by the aerial shot of the truck?
BINGO!!! Thanks man.

Adventure & Art no problem, and in my usual arse about face manner I just watched your introduction vid, looking forward to seeing what you produce
So what are you scanning the 35mm? Loved this set of images.

I was just gonna ask what you thought about that for landscape,,,,and there ya go
Perfect! Thanks for stopping by man!
I'm weirdly amused by the fact that you almost blew a whole role of film on the duckies. But I thoroughly enjoyed the whole video!
I've got issues... It's true. Thanks!
I’m totally enjoying the whole process of hunting and waiting for the perfect shot. Wanted to hold a baby duck. Mallards notwithstanding. 😂

Adventure & Art Thanks. I just realised my notifications were off so I missed this.
