Poor Rageh Omaar. Became unwell doing the news. I've always liked the news with him doing it. He makes it enjoyable. I've watched him on the news since I was a little girl. Get better soon Rageh. Xx
Glad he's been looked after. But when I saw it I instantly thought it could just be a migraine which he's familiar with and why he was trying to make it to the end. Personally I can act very similar, unable to read things or get to the end of a sentence. Its very worrying to others not familiar with it and someone once phoned an ambulance for me.
Chris Ship was there covering the Royal story when Rageh first started struggling. He could have stepped in no problem whilsy Rageh received a medical check. It was very bad from a Health & Safety welfare standpoint for ITV to allow Rageh to continue, even if he was 'determined to do so'. That decision should have been over-ruled by his employer due to suspected serious medical emergency. It was very painful to watch him....
You would imagine that TV companies that broadcast live would always have a contingency plan in place if this kind of thing happens, but clearly they don't. In theatre, they will always have an understudy who can take over the role of the actor in an emergency, but clearly TV companies don't deem it important enough to have a reserve presenter on stand-by, otherwise they would have pulled him off-air. I can imagine a TV studio full of panicked people running around not having a clue what to do or how to handle this, which is why they kept him on-air.

@@jillianwebster2711Because "Strokes" have long lasting effects and this gentleman has put himself in some serious positions to be an informative member of our society and is highly respected. So, I fear the worst because he will never be the same again. I hope this answers your question.
Was watching this as it went out. My wife and I, both thought he was having a stroke!

Tragic to witness, (stroke?) get well soon ❤
boosted up
How many safe & effective trearments has he had?
His full quota by the looks ,just hope his other multi jabbed colleagues are waking up.
Awful lot of presenters 'becoming ill' on TV lately isn't there 🤔
I'm sure experts are 'baffled'...
I don't agree with those treatments, but this can happen to anyone.
@@az1758 happening an awful lot these days though isn't it?
Covid jabs?
Shame on ITV allowing this to continue, he could have died!
These people will eat themselves
