A suggestion for “the dirt bike method” when scoping out the island. When you come up on the part with the gate and the guard tower you can go off to the left and ramp off of the cliff and make it up. It makes it much easier in my opinion because you can go around the edge of that strip of the island rather than the middle
I use this as well. There is a part of the 'half height' rocks where you can get a good enough launch to get onto the higher rocks. I find it easier than the gate and quicker than the luxury chopper. However, I'm lazy so I still use the chopper a lot!
Some remarks: 1) For the code, do NOT kill everyone in the penthouse. Kill those you need to get the code then let the others kill you. That way the mission will be automatically completed. So you don't have to fight the other guys and the security guards. That also gives you the opportunity to do other stuff before the next mission. 2) 14:16 Do NOT shoot the second guard in El Rubio's compound from that angle. If you miss one bullet, the other guard in the back wil be alerted. 3) When you scope the airfield, there is a quicker way to check the loot above: just climb on the crate, from there over the fence and you can access to the side of the lootbox. You don't need to get to the door, you just want to see what is inside.
@@maxmartinez8781 Did you die in the stairs? I say that because there is something a bit weird in the stairs (in the staff area), if you go through the doors at level 1, you get under the map and respawn at NOOSE HQ (or in the area if you open your parachute).
Tip: The communications tower hack will always be ground level if no guard is present at the base of the tower. If a guard is there it is on one of the upper levels. Another good tip for the load out setup. If you want the office building (because following the chopper takes a good minute) move your sub to Elysian Island and use your guided missile system to blow the chopper up then restart. Usually it will give the office building right away. You also do not lose anything by failing the setup.
@@rahdidntask9683 Its the prep for the unmarked weapons loadout that tells you to go to Merryweather HQ. Once there you have to follow a helicopter etc.. For all the other variants of the weapon loadout prep you just go to an office building, kill everybody, hack a laptop, open the safe, take the weapons and go back to the sub which is faster, that's why i always skip it by blowing the helicopter up (with a kosatka guided misile) and starting the prep again until it tells me to go to any other place but Marryweather HQ, this way it just takes a few seconds to re roll the prep If you replay the heist enough you will eventually get that mission
I just been playing GTA a little over a month online and I FINALLY completed the Cayo Perico heist on my own thanks to your method. It took a few tries given I was sippin, but it worked GREAT! Was much quicker and easier than my previous method. Much appreciated!
Pro tip use the dirt bike to ramp off the rocks on the left side of the sniper tower and you’ll get there as fast as possible with the least chance of getting caught once you’ve got the jump down.

Great stuff! Here is my "Supplemental Let's Do This It's gonna be a Banger" Ultimate Guide appendix: 1. Park the sub near Elysian Island, it seems to be the most efficient zone to run the preps from. 1.5. Be in the MC Club. You can spawn the Mk II faster and closer to you if you need it. 2. Safe Codes - park the heli outside the front door. Once you leave the penthouse, kill yourself with a grenade, you spawn outside by the front door without worrying about cops or having to fight your way out, grab heli and go. 3. Weapons - If you get Merryweather HQ, walk right over to your guided missile station and launch a missile and kill the heli you're supposed to follow (this is a good reason to be parked at Elysian Island). Go back to planning board and try again until you get the office prep. Note: There are two seats and each have their own timer, so if you miss, sit right in the other seat and try again. 4. If you have a Phantom wedge, use it for the Longfin prep. Fly to start point, call Wedge, and grab the boat. Drive straight to the harbor smashing cars to your hearts content. Right before you get to the bridge, stop and kill yourself. No more cops, easy delivery. 5. Scope the airport. If you can find at least a guard uniform, you're set. Use the Longfin or the Velum to approach, grab the uniform, then basically have free reign of the island, allowing you to scoop the best loot with impunity before heading to the compound. If you find the supply truck, USE IT! 6. Plasma Cutter - Use your Mk II if you have it. Sparrow to the first location, then spawn the Mk II and "merc out" all the enemies at the 2nd location. Grab the cutter. This is for those of us who just don't have the motor control to fly that heli, not being able to fly efficiently wastes time. 7. When you do the weapons prep, regardless of which prep, use the Mk II once you cross to land. Either it makes the Merryweather prep easier, or makes a quicker getaway from the office building. It also makes the Mile High blowtorch prep easier to stealth by being able to land right in the main area. 8. If you do decide to do the disruption preps, use the guided missiles. Just fast travel near the target and launch a missile. For the heli disruption, you don't even have to leave the sub.
My spot for the Kosatka is del Perro pier. The reason is simple: I drive my Kosatka next to the little pontoon. I can park my Mk II on it instead of on the Kosatka and I don't have to worry anymore about the Mk II falling into the water. You can also land on the pontoon with another helicopter if you don't have/use the Sparrow. About the safe code, you don't even need to get out of the penthouse. Once you get the code, let the other guys kill you, your mission will be completed. You will respawn outside of the penthouse with no stars on you. You can also do anything you want before getting back to the Kosatka for your next mission.
Are there multiple type of clothes on the island? Once we dressed up, we were free to go anywhere. The next time we tried this, we were good to the cameras, but the guards attacked randomly.
@@91Nande If you are outside of the compound, guards won't attack you, unless you have a weapon in your hands or you stay too long next to them. Also, if you use the blowtorch in their vicinity, they will be alerted. For more safety, take out the guards in the areas where you take loot.
@@91Nande No, what I noticed is the clothes are good for moving around, but sitting still in front of the red guards would eventually trigger them, as will holding a weapon or apparently using the blowtorch near, even if they are on the other side of a very large wall (learned that the hard way). Stay clean around them! So, just avoid them, or you know, kill them, haha!
Adding a few strategies when you get the Signal jammer for the Kosatka, Drive the sub to the middle of the circle and submerge 40 feet. That way when you evacuate you can travel the shortest distance underwater. To avoid the Merryweather chopper mission altogether, just fire a Sub rocket to the docks and hit the chopper on top. This will fail the mission, but reset the RNG to get an office mission. Finally in the last swim when escaping Cayo Perico, instead of swimming out of the map you can just swim to the farthest out mine and descend to where the bottom of the chain is. This will end the mission and save you a minute or two.
I am so happy today I did the heist in this method did not get Elite because time was 16 mins but I still got 200000 directly in my bank account. I did get caught sometimes but eventually did it undetected. Thanks Tylarious for this wonderful method
12:22 The shed gate trick, just like keycard doors, has been patched for those who don't know. Need 2 people now. Guard placement is also different. There are two guards, one stands still facing toward the corner where the camera is mounted, and the other patrols along the shore line of the little inlet where you see Tylarious park the boat.
I use kosatka or longfin, when secondary loot at the main dock is enough for filling up the bags for the elite challenge, else I do the velum with stashed weaps. Theres always plenty of loot at the airfield. Elite ch. guaranteed every single time

It takes some more time to bring this slow junk from senora to lsia, but the kosatka prep, you just fast travel, drive it for a few seconds underwater,set auto pilot next to the target sub, and then it's an in and out thing. But anyways, I'm trying to do different variations, for keeping it kinda more interesting
I like the north dock bc ai get almost every time clothes there, with the main dock im not so lucky. I like personally the velum and longfin north dock approach the most and you can do the elite challenge in no horry also😁
If you cut across the field S of the airport to the beach where the party was you can swim around to the main docks. From the mouth of the harbor if you follow the hills on the west side of the island south to the water tower you have a straight shot to the comm tower without seeing a single guard (guards in the boats can't catch you). You completely bypass the checkpoint and every guard, it's a no-stress way to scope out in less than 5 minutes.
When gathering the intel, instead of driving through that gate door, I find it easier to jump the hill on the left side of the gate near the water. Then it is very easy to navigate to the tower and avoid cones of vision driving near the weed fields off the road.
Nice dude. FYI, fingerprint cloner: can toss one grenade to take them out all out. Weapons in office: can exit/re-enter/exit/re-enter/exit to not shoot helis at all. (Just blow up the Merriweather heli to avoid the time of that one.) Nighttime includes suppressors free too. PS edit: If you want sub, take your sub to it, swim underwater, first person view to take out opponents easy, swim back underwater, done.

Definitely better to get your loot after, not before. There is an incredibly safe path you can take after leaving the compound where you only have to evade 1 guard on a watchtower, go all the way to the airport, get your loot and swim out to the sub. I consistently get under 10 minutes with that method and it's the easiest path to not deal with guards, whether you're before or after the compound.
Also there’s a very small chance that a guard will open a door in the basement of the compound and you can steal gold solo so it’s better to leave bag unfilled until then
The airport is really far from el rubios compound. Main dock is safe enough and you only need to kill a few guards tops. I uploaded a full run on my channel if anyone wants to check it out.
you can easily find a boat on the escape by going on one of the rocks in the water and waiting around 10-30 seconds and then headshotting the dude around 5 or 10 times.Very simple,very easy

With getting your weapons it is better to destroy the helicopter that you follow and request your submarine near the location. Then try again until you are doing the buildings rather than following the helicopter. Much faster.
I haven’t yet done the heist so I’m still trying to steal the mandrazo files but I wasn’t able to find the drainage tunnel during the scoping phase so I have to go through the main gate. I also wasn’t able to do the cutting torch prep for whatever reason. On the planning screen that prep shows up with a lock icon and I don’t know how to unlock it, so I’m stuck with demolition charges, which immediately alert the guards when I try to grab secondary loot. Help needed whenever possible
I think you can only do the cutting torch prep if you scope the drainage tunnel. I had to do the front gate on my first heist and alerted every fucker in the compound. Took me about 30 restarts but got it in the end. My advice is to go back to the island and scope out drainage tunnel. Its under water in the sea at the south of the map below the compound. Look up a scoping video and you'll find it. Good luck 👍
Just steal the main target and leave then take a left then steal a boat after killing the driver after that drive the boat to the airstrip and steal whats there and leave with a plain. Thats how you do it solo no need to bother with landing first in airstrip
@@loukaschronis9200 you can go to the shore next to the compound (turn left when exiting the compund and follow the wall down). If nothing spawns for 10-15 seconds when you get there, then you won't have any spawn at all. If they do spawn and you grab a boat, you can drive it to the airport or docks to grab loot. Instead of walking/ driving across the island. Or just leave.
This heist is so simple you SHOULD do it alone. Get in a group, help each other prep, run solo, unless you have plenty of gold or & artwork around the compound.
I've made $29,000,000 in the past three weeks doing the cayo heist and the Dr.Dre missions along with the agency/auto shop ect. I do the cayo heist solo under 15 mins each time.
@@klumsyninja9073 make sure it’s not tilted and right on top of the 2 squares. If you get too close to the door it will get on one of those 2 bumps and slide off. I only park it there when I plan on just dropping equipment off the start the next message. Plus, it’s hilarious when you return it to storage because it basically just falls through the sub.
El Rubios chopper is so slow that you can walk from the compound to the main gate and he still won't spot you, so Crack Shot weapon option is the better option. You waste time throwing C4 on his chopper as well. The weapon mission itself, park your sub in the dockspace to the right of their HQ and it'll spawn the office mission instead of the stupid Valkerie mission. Parking the sub in the same spot for the Stealth Annihilator mission gives you the yacht mission which is quicker and ten times easier than the HQ mission.
Also the Longfin is ridiculously fast, like double the speed of any other boat in the game. It even rivals most supercars in a straight line its insane!
@@zacharysimmons9195 no he meant that we can use the torpedo and periscope missiles to take out the buzzard and the boats surrounding the Merryweather sub. then just five in grab the sonar and the kosatka is nearby so it's faster
Once you scope the primary target you can just change session and get back in the sub, there is no need to return to the airstrip and take the velum back
I’ve always used this one method every time, already once you and a plus one land on the island look for the guard uniforms, grappling equipment and sometimes bolt cutters by the airstrip, next go to the Communication tower and look for primary target of course, now look for the gold bars/stacks on the sightseer app once that’s done go back to Los Santos. Already just a little math, gold bars are the most expensive secondary target they’re $330,480 on hard mode which everybody should have 330,480x3 = $991,440 a stack of gold bars fill up 66% of you’re bag you’ll be able to hold one stack and a half the other person can hold the other half. Heist time, Once you’re on the island one of you go for the grappling and the other goes for the bolt cutters you both go for the uniforms after that, keep in mind use the escape point as the runway/airstrip one of you with the bolt cutters takes out control tower so you don’t get shot out of the sky then it’s home free.

Lose the cops with the longfin trailer on the railroad to Elysium island. Park the trailer on the railroad bridge till you lose the 3 stars, then you will be practicaly at the deliverpoint.. No hassle Edit: forgot to mention, just another solid guide, thx Ty
For the longfin prep mission, there's two locations for cabs. One has two cabs, then there is one that is guarded by merryweather. It's a phantom wedge. It's always parked the furthest away and it's always the lone wolf truck. You don't need to buy it, just grab the truck by itself.

Park on the front, on the white square. Wait a second or two after dismounting to check it's not clipping and leaning over. If you are inside fort not too long, it's always there when you come out. I use the MkII every time for the equipment and 'tower' weapons set ups. Return to storage before fast travelling ;)
instead of using drainage tunnel, you can find disguise always at north dock or airport for 100% sure.. and take dirt bike and go to compound direct and take out guards at doors and you can get key code.. its way too fast and easy than drainage tunnel
You do know when scoping warehouse at the airstrip, behind the crates is a ladder! Only need forklift for the finale to loot up there if its interesting
I don't get how everyone finds this heist so easy. I always set the alarms off, get spotted and leave with a shot up half empty bag. You guys are way better than me, thats for sure
You’ll get it .. I probably failed this heist my first 20 times. Ty has another video giving the blueprint on the route to take once you get inside the compound .
I took a maybe 2 weeks before I actually finished my first full play through of the heist. Everything I would make a mistake I would blow myself up with the sticky bombs and restart. I did it over and over until I knew exactly which guards had to be killed. Also for the hacking if you have the hacking device for the casino heist you can practice the new hacks in your arcade. I did that over and over until I memorized each one.
The long fin method is a good tip. I’ve been taking a motorcycle back to the airport and it’s tough to make the drive without setting off the alarms. 👌🏻
Interesting, I was always told the best way to finish the Merryweather version of the loadout mission is just to blow up the chopper and try to get the office because holy hell that chopper is so slow
The helicopter only goes to 3 places on the map. If you watch his flight path you can just get there before hand and kill stuff. Still takes longer then the buildings but it mixes things up so it doesn't become a stagnant grind. Give it some variety at times of boredom
I noticed something last night that players may or may not be aware of. I've been swimming on the seafloor to escape island when being chased and this works fine, but not in hard mode where you either die or spawn back to the Island. Also trying to get through the Island once spotted in hard mode is very difficult, maybe impossible lol
@@copaxan Actually, It only seems that way the first few times till you get to know all the threats. I can speedrun all the scope, setups and heist in an hour now and have done for months. I don't do disruption preps, but always do the poison well thing. in the scope. If you get spotted during the heist, just keep moving, never stop and fight and you'll make it. Also you actually can swim away even in hard mode, from anywhere as far as I know. Stick with it man. I'm not anything special as a general player and i can get through it easily so you can too. I wrote above reply at the beginning when I was at stage you are probably at! If you are on PC let me know, I'm gonna make a video later of how I do it for someone else, I'll link you to it
When sourcing the Longfin, I usually just ignore the cops and drive right to the dock. If I haven't lost the cops by then, I just let them kill me, then respawn with no stars, and I'm good to go.
that happened to me once during scopeout but then I crashed. It shows up in the west which means that the Cayo island is connected to the southeast side of the San Andreas map on the east side of the aircraft carrier.
Tip for first weapon set up roof escape; shoot down first helicopter, then shoot the back propeller on the second with mini gun. Plenty of time to get away

Ty I hope you see this!!! But with the submarine prep, you can drive your sub under water then you can autopilot your sub equip scuba gear and then get out and enter the other sub and get the device and then when you come out your sub, (your)sub will be literally right in front of you.
thanks tylarious, this is by far the best method on yt. use the 15:10 method folks. im making ~ $1.5m per hour with this. i just run the longfin straight to the airport, (park in the rocky area, the rocks will hold the boat in place), take out the guard at the hangar, grab the secondary loot with forklift, continue via longfin to compound, then stealth in via tunnel, office etc, bike into water. set ups are about 45 minutes, (using sub fast travel via interaction menu), heist is done in 13 minutes.
@@blueshadow1079 yeah man, a few tips .. - join a lobby with minimal players, to stop the trolls. - have plenty of snacks and vests to see you through the set ups. - use the sub fast travel, and request it when on land, and use the sparrow wherever possible. for the cayo intel setup, as soon as you have scoped the compound basement on your phone just run to a guard, it will boot you back to the plane and you just exit to los santos, saves time riding all the way back to the airport. with the longfin / phantom wedge set up, spawn phantom wedge, get longfin, go up the road a way and hop out, drop a grenade on yourself (away from longfin) and boom, no wanted level. with the finale, make sure you are always using suppressors, and follow the path exactly from 15:10. rinse and repeat as often as you like. i wouldnt worry about doing it with another player as it increases the chances of getting caught sneaking around the compound. just do it solo. if you do a serious grind session, you make easy $10m over 7 - 8 hours. that can get tedious, so i just do one or two here and there, then move onto something more interesting.
@@blueshadow1079 welcome. i forgot to add, with the intel set up, run to a guard etc, or just jump off the tower if the box is up high. it will then port you to the plane, then exit to los santos. its all about trying to bust it out as efficiently as possible.
@@blueshadow1079 dude i just discovered the ultimate formula, combined with 15:10. go to story mode, press start, online tab, play gta online, INVITE ONLY session, then you good, no trolls blowing you up every 5 seconds. you can repeat cayo until your thumbs hurt. its very easy to get elite on hard mode. fyi hard is only an extra $100k. i wish it was like double the payout, so $2m, $3m etc. regular elite is extra $50k, full loot bag, no failed hack, under 15 mins.

I do understand what you’re saying, this video and lot of others seem rushed and speak as if everybody understands the island and exactly what hes talking about like theyve done it before, all youtubers that cover the cayo perico heist do the same thing as well. Luckily i am experienced with it and can follow the vid easily enough but i can imagine for someone new trying it out such as yourself it must sound so rushed and confusing, you need someone that makes a video on it whilst slowly breaking it down, or try to replicate what u see in this vid to the best of your ability and learn by trial and error. I just been playing GTA a little over a month online and I FINALLY completed the Cayo Perico heist on my own thanks to your method. It took a few tries given I was sippin, but it worked GREAT! Was much quicker and easier than my previous method. Much appreciated!

Pro tip use the dirt bike to ramp off the rocks on the left side of the sniper tower and you’ll get there as fast as possible with the least chance of getting caught once you’ve got the jump down.

Great stuff! Here is my "Supplemental Let's Do This It's gonna be a Banger" Ultimate Guide appendix:
1. Park the sub near Elysian Island, it seems to be the most efficient zone to run the preps from.
1.5. Be in the MC Club. You can spawn the Mk II faster and closer to you if you need it.
2. Safe Codes - park the heli outside the front door. Once you leave the penthouse, kill yourself with a grenade, you spawn outside by the front door without worrying about cops or having to fight your way out, grab heli and go.
3. Weapons - If you get Merryweather HQ, walk right over to your guided missile station and launch a missile and kill the heli you're supposed to follow (this is a good reason to be parked at Elysian Island). Go back to planning board and try again until you get the office prep. Note: There are two seats and each have their own timer, so if you miss, sit right in the other seat and try again.
4. If you have a Phantom wedge, use it for the Longfin prep. Fly to start point, call Wedge, and grab the boat. Drive straight to the harbor smashing cars to your hearts content. Right before you get to the bridge, stop and kill yourself. No more cops, easy delivery.
5. Scope the airport. If you can find at least a guard uniform, you're set. Use the Longfin or the Velum to approach, grab the uniform, then basically have free reign of the island, allowing you to scoop the best loot with impunity before heading to the compound. If you find the supply truck, USE IT!
6. Plasma Cutter - Use your Mk II if you have it. Sparrow to the first location, then spawn the Mk II and "merc out" all the enemies at the 2nd location. Grab the cutter. This is for those of us who just don't have the motor control to fly that heli, not being able to fly efficiently wastes time.
7. When you do the weapons prep, regardless of which prep, use the Mk II once you cross to land. Either it makes the Merryweather prep easier, or makes a quicker getaway from the office building. It also makes the Mile High blowtorch prep easier to stealth by being able to land right in the main area.
8. If you do decide to do the disruption preps, use the guided missiles. Just fast travel near the target and launch a missile. For the heli disruption, you don't even have to leave the sub.
My spot for the Kosatka is del Perro pier. The reason is simple: I drive my Kosatka next to the little pontoon. I can park my Mk II on it instead of on the Kosatka and I don't have to worry anymore about the Mk II falling into the water. You can also land on the pontoon with another helicopter if you don't have/use the Sparrow.
About the safe code, you don't even need to get out of the penthouse. Once you get the code, let the other guys kill you, your mission will be completed. You will respawn outside of the penthouse with no stars on you. You can also do anything you want before getting back to the Kosatka for your next mission.
Are there multiple type of clothes on the island?
Once we dressed up, we were free to go anywhere. The next time we tried this, we were good to the cameras, but the guards attacked randomly.
@@91Nande If you are outside of the compound, guards won't attack you, unless you have a weapon in your hands or you stay too long next to them. Also, if you use the blowtorch in their vicinity, they will be alerted. For more safety, take out the guards in the areas where you take loot.

@@91Nande No, what I noticed is the clothes are good for moving around, but sitting still in front of the red guards would eventually trigger them, as will holding a weapon or apparently using the blowtorch near, even if they are on the other side of a very large wall (learned that the hard way). Stay clean around them! So, just avoid them, or you know, kill them, haha!
Adding a few strategies when you get the Signal jammer for the Kosatka, Drive the sub to the middle of the circle and submerge 40 feet. That way when you evacuate you can travel the shortest distance underwater. To avoid the Merryweather chopper mission altogether, just fire a Sub rocket to the docks and hit the chopper on top. This will fail the mission, but reset the RNG to get an office mission. Finally in the last swim when escaping Cayo Perico, instead of swimming out of the map you can just swim to the farthest out mine and descend to where the bottom of the chain is. This will end the mission and save you a minute or two.

I am so happy today I did the heist in this method did not get Elite because time was 16 mins but I still got 200000 directly in my bank account. I did get caught sometimes but eventually did it undetected. Thanks Tylarious for this wonderful method
12:22 The shed gate trick, just like keycard doors, has been patched for those who don't know. Need 2 people now.
Guard placement is also different. There are two guards, one stands still facing toward the corner where the camera is mounted, and the other patrols along the shore line of the little inlet where you see Tylarious park the boat.

I use kosatka or longfin, when secondary loot at the main dock is enough for filling up the bags for the elite challenge, else I do the velum with stashed weaps. Theres always plenty of loot at the airfield. Elite ch. guaranteed every single time

It takes some more time to bring this slow junk from senora to lsia, but the kosatka prep, you just fast travel, drive it for a few seconds underwater,set auto pilot next to the target sub, and then it's an in and out thing. But anyways, I'm trying to do different variations, for keeping it kinda more interesting
I like the north dock bc ai get almost every time clothes there, with the main dock im not so lucky. I like personally the velum and longfin north dock approach the most and you can do the elite challenge in no horry also😁
I do not mess with the main dock anymore. I have the worst of luck there.
Kosatka, Drainage, Conspirator, Suppressors.
If you cut across the field S of the airport to the beach where the party was you can swim around to the main docks. From the mouth of the harbor if you follow the hills on the west side of the island south to the water tower you have a straight shot to the comm tower without seeing a single guard (guards in the boats can't catch you). You completely bypass the checkpoint and every guard, it's a no-stress way to scope out in less than 5 minutes.
That's how I do it. Run/swim around shoreline. Haven't been caught my last 8 times going this way. It works for me so I'll keep doing it.😊
When gathering the intel, instead of driving through that gate door, I find it easier to jump the hill on the left side of the gate near the water. Then it is very easy to navigate to the tower and avoid cones of vision driving near the weed fields off the road.

Weapons in office: can exit/re-enter/exit/re-enter/exit to not shoot helis at all.
(Just blow up the Merriweather heli to avoid the time of that one.)
Nighttime includes suppressors free too.
PS edit: If you want sub, take your sub to it, swim underwater, first person view to take out opponents easy, swim back underwater, done.

Definitely better to get your loot after, not before. There is an incredibly safe path you can take after leaving the compound where you only have to evade 1 guard on a watchtower, go all the way to the airport, get your loot and swim out to the sub. I consistently get under 10 minutes with that method and it's the easiest path to not deal with guards, whether you're before or after the compound.

The airport is really far from el rubios compound. Main dock is safe enough and you only need to kill a few guards tops. I uploaded a full run on my channel if anyone wants to check it out.
you can easily find a boat on the escape by going on one of the rocks in the water and waiting around 10-30 seconds and then headshotting the dude around 5 or 10 times.Very simple,very easy

- You can skip the check point (at min 1:33) by riding the motorcycle near the water at the east side and climb the spine near a rock in the water;

With getting your weapons it is better to destroy the helicopter that you follow and request your submarine near the location. Then try again until you are doing the buildings rather than following the helicopter. Much faster.
I haven’t yet done the heist so I’m still trying to steal the mandrazo files but I wasn’t able to find the drainage tunnel during the scoping phase so I have to go through the main gate. I also wasn’t able to do the cutting torch prep for whatever reason. On the planning screen that prep shows up with a lock icon and I don’t know how to unlock it, so I’m stuck with demolition charges, which immediately alert the guards when I try to grab secondary loot. Help needed whenever possible
I think you can only do the cutting torch prep if you scope the drainage tunnel. I had to do the front gate on my first heist and alerted every fucker in the compound. Took me about 30 restarts but got it in the end. My advice is to go back to the island and scope out drainage tunnel. Its under water in the sea at the south of the map below the compound. Look up a scoping video and you'll find it. Good luck 👍

Just steal the main target and leave then take a left then steal a boat after killing the driver after that drive the boat to the airstrip and steal whats there and leave with a plain. Thats how you do it solo no need to bother with landing first in airstrip
If you kill a boat driver on your way out you can take the boat and be out faster!
So if I just wait near the edge of the island a boater will come? And whats the point of that if I want to go to the main dock and fill my loot bag?
@@loukaschronis9200 you can go to the shore next to the compound (turn left when exiting the compund and follow the wall down). If nothing spawns for 10-15 seconds when you get there, then you won't have any spawn at all.
If they do spawn and you grab a boat, you can drive it to the airport or docks to grab loot. Instead of walking/ driving across the island. Or just leave.
You don’t have to kill him
This heist is so simple you SHOULD do it alone. Get in a group, help each other prep, run solo, unless you have plenty of gold or & artwork around the compound.

I've made $29,000,000 in the past three weeks doing the cayo heist and the Dr.Dre missions along with the agency/auto shop ect. I do the cayo heist solo under 15 mins each time.
You can park the MK2 on the sub in front of the door to the helm right on top of the two squares.
Mine always gets destroyed while I'm in the sub
@@klumsyninja9073 make sure it’s not tilted and right on top of the 2 squares. If you get too close to the door it will get on one of those 2 bumps and slide off. I only park it there when I plan on just dropping equipment off the start the next message. Plus, it’s hilarious when you return it to storage because it basically just falls through the sub.
El Rubios chopper is so slow that you can walk from the compound to the main gate and he still won't spot you, so Crack Shot weapon option is the better option. You waste time throwing C4 on his chopper as well.
The weapon mission itself, park your sub in the dockspace to the right of their HQ and it'll spawn the office mission instead of the stupid Valkerie mission.
Parking the sub in the same spot for the Stealth Annihilator mission gives you the yacht mission which is quicker and ten times easier than the HQ mission.
Also the Longfin is ridiculously fast, like double the speed of any other boat in the game. It even rivals most supercars in a straight line its insane!

Once you scope the primary target you can just change session and get back in the sub, there is no need to return to the airstrip and take the velum back

I’ve always used this one method every time, already once you and a plus one land on the island look for the guard uniforms, grappling equipment and sometimes bolt cutters by the airstrip, next go to the Communication tower and look for primary target of course, now look for the gold bars/stacks on the sightseer app once that’s done go back to Los Santos. Already just a little math, gold bars are the most expensive secondary target they’re $330,480 on hard mode which everybody should have 330,480x3 = $991,440 a stack of gold bars fill up 66% of you’re bag you’ll be able to hold one stack and a half the other person can hold the other half. Heist time, Once you’re on the island one of you go for the grappling and the other goes for the bolt cutters you both go for the uniforms after that, keep in mind use the escape point as the runway/airstrip one of you with the bolt cutters takes out control tower so you don’t get shot out of the sky then it’s home free.

The valkyrie mission has 3 spawn locations, powerplant, counterfit cash (in señora dessert) and top right almosea close to the weed farm in grapeseed

Lose the cops with the longfin trailer on the railroad to Elysium island. Park the trailer on the railroad bridge till you lose the 3 stars, then you will be practicaly at the deliverpoint.. No hassle

For the exit u can get to the other side of the compound and get in your longfin so a faster exit than swimming
For the longfin prep mission, there's two locations for cabs. One has two cabs, then there is one that is guarded by merryweather. It's a phantom wedge. It's always parked the furthest away and it's always the lone wolf truck. You don't need to buy it, just grab the truck by itself.

Park on the front, on the white square. Wait a second or two after dismounting to check it's not clipping and leaning over. If you are inside fort not too long, it's always there when you come out. I use the MkII every time for the equipment and 'tower' weapons set ups. Return to storage before fast travelling ;)
instead of using drainage tunnel, you can find disguise always at north dock or airport for 100% sure.. and take dirt bike and go to compound direct and take out guards at doors and you can get key code.. its way too fast and easy than drainage tunnel

You do know when scoping warehouse at the airstrip, behind the crates is a ladder! Only need forklift for the finale to loot up there if its interesting
I don't get how everyone finds this heist so easy. I always set the alarms off, get spotted and leave with a shot up half empty bag. You guys are way better than me, thats for sure

You’ll get it .. I probably failed this heist my first 20 times. Ty has another video giving the blueprint on the route to take once you get inside the compound .
I took a maybe 2 weeks before I actually finished my first full play through of the heist. Everything I would make a mistake I would blow myself up with the sticky bombs and restart. I did it over and over until I knew exactly which guards had to be killed. Also for the hacking if you have the hacking device for the casino heist you can practice the new hacks in your arcade. I did that over and over until I memorized each one.
I've been struggling with this heist staying undetected but this way worked a treat, I got 1.5mil and stayed undetected for the first time
The long fin method is a good tip. I’ve been taking a motorcycle back to the airport and it’s tough to make the drive without setting off the alarms. 👌🏻
Grab a boat from the main dock
The sub prep is very easy. Using the sub park right on top of it use the periscope to take out the heli and 3 dingny

Interesting, I was always told the best way to finish the Merryweather version of the loadout mission is just to blow up the chopper and try to get the office because holy hell that chopper is so slow
The helicopter only goes to 3 places on the map. If you watch his flight path you can just get there before hand and kill stuff.
Still takes longer then the buildings but it mixes things up so it doesn't become a stagnant grind. Give it some variety at times of boredom
I noticed something last night that players may or may not be aware of. I've been swimming on the seafloor to escape island when being chased and this works fine, but not in hard mode where you either die or spawn back to the Island. Also trying to get through the Island once spotted in hard mode is very difficult, maybe impossible lol

@@copaxan Actually, It only seems that way the first few times till you get to know all the threats. I can speedrun all the scope, setups and heist in an hour now and have done for months. I don't do disruption preps, but always do the poison well thing. in the scope. If you get spotted during the heist, just keep moving, never stop and fight and you'll make it. Also you actually can swim away even in hard mode, from anywhere as far as I know. Stick with it man. I'm not anything special as a general player and i can get through it easily so you can too. I wrote above reply at the beginning when I was at stage you are probably at! If you are on PC let me know, I'm gonna make a video later of how I do it for someone else, I'll link you to it

When sourcing the Longfin, I usually just ignore the cops and drive right to the dock. If I haven't lost the cops by then, I just let them kill me, then respawn with no stars, and I'm good to go.

Is anyone else seeing Los Santos and the aircraft carrier from the island now when doing the scope out mission?
It happens if the business battle is on and u do scope out...
that happened to me once during scopeout but then I crashed.
It shows up in the west which means that the Cayo island is connected to the southeast side of the San Andreas map on the east side of the aircraft carrier.
That makes sense I just assumed he got tired of me robbing him and called in the big guns.
Tip for first weapon set up roof escape; shoot down first helicopter, then shoot the back propeller on the second with mini gun. Plenty of time to get away

use the 15:10 method folks. im making ~ $1.5m per hour with this. i just run the longfin straight to the airport, (park in the rocky area, the rocks will hold the boat in place), take out the guard at the hangar, grab the secondary loot with forklift, continue via longfin to compound, then stealth in via tunnel, office etc, bike into water.
set ups are about 45 minutes, (using sub fast travel via interaction menu), heist is done in 13 minutes.
So this method is legit??
@@blueshadow1079 yeah man, a few tips ..
- join a lobby with minimal players, to stop the trolls.
- have plenty of snacks and vests to see you through the set ups.
- use the sub fast travel, and request it when on land, and use the sparrow wherever possible.
for the cayo intel setup, as soon as you have scoped the compound basement on your phone just run to a guard, it will boot you back to the plane and you just exit to los santos, saves time riding all the way back to the airport.
with the longfin / phantom wedge set up, spawn phantom wedge, get longfin, go up the road a way and hop out, drop a grenade on yourself (away from longfin) and boom, no wanted level.
with the finale, make sure you are always using suppressors, and follow the path exactly from 15:10. rinse and repeat as often as you like. i wouldnt worry about doing it with another player as it increases the chances of getting caught sneaking around the compound. just do it solo. if you do a serious grind session, you make easy $10m over 7 - 8 hours. that can get tedious, so i just do one or two here and there, then move onto something more interesting.

@@blueshadow1079 welcome. i forgot to add, with the intel set up, run to a guard etc, or just jump off the tower if the box is up high. it will then port you to the plane, then exit to los santos. its all about trying to bust it out as efficiently as possible.
@@blueshadow1079 dude i just discovered the ultimate formula, combined with 15:10. go to story mode, press start, online tab, play gta online, INVITE ONLY session, then you good, no trolls blowing you up every 5 seconds. you can repeat cayo until your thumbs hurt. its very easy to get elite on hard mode. fyi hard is only an extra $100k. i wish it was like double the payout, so $2m, $3m etc. regular elite is extra $50k, full loot bag, no failed hack, under 15 mins.

I do understand what you’re saying, this video and lot of others seem rushed and speak as if everybody understands the island and exactly what hes talking about like theyve done it before, all youtubers that cover the cayo perico heist do the same thing as well. Luckily i am experienced with it and can follow the vid easily enough but i can imagine for someone new trying it out such as yourself it must sound so rushed and confusing, you need someone that makes a video on it whilst slowly breaking it down, or try to replicate what u see in this vid to the best of your ability and learn by trial and error. Sorry bro i dont know if my reply to you is any good but i saw your comment and could feel what you’re saying

just for those who are curios, the tier of quality of items goes like this, gold most valuable, cocain second, weed third, cash fourth(only grab cash if there is nothing else to grab) paintings, fith (never grab paintings, like ever)
