During scope out mission: scope out airport first, go to tower, look through video feeds, and go to top of tower and parachute to the main docks and scope out there.

Near cypress flats warehouse there is a Gang with a Phantom Wedge. New players may not have the money for that thing 😉
Edit: basically you get 3 markers on the map with usable trucks. The 2 standing besides each other are the normal phantoms. The wedge is the lonely one. Not always at above mentioned location

Nice I've been playing GTA again since yesterday, bought the submarine and already done this heist 4 times. Last time with Elite Challenge since I didn't know how to do it first, but now it's a breeze in the park. Your strategy will make it even easier, I didn't know the door on the side needed 2 hacks instead of 4!

Holy crap dude! I've been trying to convince my friends to start playing this heist this way, and I think I have converted one of them, but I finally had bought my Kosatka and tried this out solo, my first try HARD MODE I completed all Elite challenges and made $2M. It was bearer bonds too, I can only imagine if it was the pink diamond!!! Thank you so much for the strat Ty, this is easily the way to go. Love all the vids bro, you're so informative and make things to the point. Keep it up!

I love this method so much, especially when the paintings in the office don't spawn it works a whole lot better than submarine
Yup I always use Longfin and get my second Loot First so I focus in the compound and get away swimming
Yea this is good when your solo but imo submarine is much better if you have a friend

Cayo is the best heist by far for solo players. I use the same method for entry. But I go straight to hanger most of the time I’m able to fill my bag there before cruising to the drainage tunnel. Paintings and cocoa for sure best secondaries solo playing. I get elite every time and this heist has provided me with millions of $$$.
Best method ever! Did it exactly like this after failing a thousand times trying other routes, and it's just perfect. You got a sub!
Your guide is very helpful. Thanks for that. The Longfin is really simpler than the Kosatka. The only reason I didn't complete the Elite Challenge is because I wasted too much time at the docks. It was a stupid mistake. Next time, it'll work.

if you have a friend, you can both do a cayo Perico heist (each one of you do the preps alone) and give 85% to the host and 15% to the one who helps, steal gold, this saves time in scope out mission and heist and it also gives the maximum amount of money. I usually do this with kosakta approach because there is no need to get any secondary loot from outside the main compound
If you hardquit during the cutscene at the end you can keep the heist and do it over and over without any set up

When you’re swimming out at the end there’s also a spot in the water between 3 bombs that will instantly finish the heist so you don’t kill your finger swimming

Where is this man?!?? I go to the back of compound towards the right of it if you were facing it then jump in the water to fetch a boat at times, this is near the drainage tunnel entrance
@@ej8_leo it’s where he went from, but closer to the right and you’ll see 3 bombs in like a triangle formation and then you just go in the middle of them and then you can do whatever and it takes like 5 seconds, i hope that helps. there’s probably a video on it if you look around youtube

Fantastic tutorial! For noobs, go to the big green H on the left side of your map to get the text from Miguel to get started. Not a single YT'er mentions this, and it is essential.
I used to do it the other way, get primary first then secondary and leave from main dock, most times didnt get the cocaine, would take me about 12 mins, now going this route I always get the cocaine even if its at the airstrip and still make it out in under 10 mins.
its the same method i use since very long, but the road you took inside avoiding guards is smart.. going to try it
BUT when you jump on water, if you jump slightly right there will be 3 bombs that forms a triangle that when you are between them the music fades and the heist is finished before you pass them.. they are the 3 further bombs than the one you jumped beside at 10:14 and you can jump closer to them if you face your bike slightly right

Just what I needed
I’d also suggest disguises. Because you can go through everywhere swiftly without taking out everyone. And on the way out the island you can just ride the bike to the main dock, take a boat and leave.

Gonna be honest I like this strategy, quick and easy. Been running across the map to escape this whole time ! now I find out its just swim away and you're good lol definitely better filling the bag first as well. In other words, thank you.
I last completed this with randoms... yup randoms. Mostly done stealth including finding the boltcutters. Only alerted the guards right at the end and we were leaving anyway, did not lose much money... that heist was the exception. Next Cayo with randoms everything went to hell. They were shooting at the npcs and getting themselves killed 😏

the mission for the longfin is a pain in the ass, kosatka is just easier
I’ve definitely saved a lot of time buying the phantom wedge for the longfin set up. I highly recommend buying one
Can you use moc truck to do it? Ive always wondered since u can detach the trailer from it
@@2katen47 I have the hauler MOC. (Cabover) and I can use it but it won't deliver the longfin at the blue 🔵. I always have to detach and go find a normal truck to finish the job... Not sure if it's like this using the phantom custom....

I think during the set up, the game provides you one phantom wedge and 3 normal trucks...

@@BillThaPill not really I kept getting detected at the main dock so I had to go threw the drainage tunnel and then get my secondary targets so I’ll probably just stick with the sub entrance but if you wanna try it go ahead

@@BillThaPill same it takes me around 45 minutes to do set ups and around 11 minutes to do the heist
After grabbing the secondary loot, I almost always use the uniforms to drive a squaddie right into the compound, get the key code to get inside the compound and enter right there by the Panther cage. I take out 2 guards on the way up the stairs to El Rubio's office (one of them almost always has the gate keys), grab the loot and I go out through the main gate. Elite every single time.

@@MdotEBK There are boxes of guard clothing around the map. Sometimes they spawn in at the building across from the hanger (sometimes out front, sometimes up the stairs). Also, then spawn at the dock near the dead whale). They spawn at these places randomly but most of the time you'll find them in one of those 3 places. The guard clothing makes you unnoticeable by half of the guards and cameras so you don't get caught and if you are wearing the guard clothes you can drive any vehicle right inside the compound front gate. If you drive in with a delivery truck you can drive directly into the compound main gate. The guard will let you in. If you can't get a delivery truck, you can still drive into the compound area and find a side door key on one of the guards.

My method is basically the same other than I didn’t know its that easy to escape the island.
Is there a good guide for setup missions? I'm low-leveled so I don't have much armor.

@@johnromey7009 make sure you follow the guides exact route, you will also need to be undetected.
Usually a phantom wedge spawns at one of the semi truck locations that Pavel gives you on the long fin setup

Just did Cayo for the first time. Got it on the 5th attempt, I kept missing the melee (I don't use any aim/lock-on assist). This method was super easy, I walked out with 1.7 million and bought the sparrow to make life easier going forward. THANK YOU FOR THE ASSIST!!

So I just followed your route and yeah, it was pretty easy compared to my previous route. Also, luckily, I watched your fingerprint scan hack - what a lifesaver! Those patterns really did my head in, but with this hack, oh so quick and easy! (You just gained another subscriber)
Going to the airstrip for secondary loot is the super easy if u dont care about the loot u will get
1. airstrip
2. disguise
3. grab cocaine
4. grab weed (or a painting in rubio’s office if it spawns)
5. walk straight thru compound to main objective from drainage
6. walk out
7. swim away
8. profit.
Yes I do this most of the time if I add up my loot even if its not cocaine , it works out to 400 k. If I get absolutely no looot at the airstrip, a painting rng spawns at the office so I have to do the math and prioritize loot to just make sure its over 400k. The route is wayyy less complicated ..

Good vid!! Ironically, the gate keys didn’t drop so i had to go back through the office, and that threw the timing of my escape off. I still managed to swim away with rebreathers even though they were alerted before i went through the final gate. I really just needed help with the courtyard since my old method (TTG solo elite) was getting plagued with alarms going off for no reason. I'm still using the Velum to the Airport, disguise, truck, secondary loot, compound...three kills, it's so easy and quick.

The truck could be too far for this to work every time.
@@fad1969 there's four locations for the truck, the fourth is driving around the island...I normally wait at the corner before the compound to ambush the driver. I usually do the run in 11 mins and have never run out of time so far.

I did my first heist yesterday. I walk out the compound and followed the wall to the right. Shot a guy in a dingy and jumped into the water then into the dingy and I was away

In terms of time-to-money, which is better on average: 1) easy scope-out, take what’s at the airport, or 2) scope entire island, find coke, etc…?
What I do is Try to scope Airport and North Dock and I use always the Longfin and aim for the Élite Challenge. And pay atention to the cameras while looking your primary target like 75% of the time you get a Painting and a Coco in The north Dock plus élite Challenge you can get 1.5M every 40 minutes
Extra Tip: try to use Opressor Mk2 and forget about the Sparrow just be carefull parking outside the Kotsaka.
Scope out the airport. Then comm tower to scope in compound. Use parachute to scope main docks.
You don't have to scope out the loot in the gather intel mission. Just go to the shacks at the main dock in the heist.
everything always depends on the loot. I search 3 main spots and i have to i have 2 additional spots that I check.

@@Mars-gq4bh I've made 100M solo all with kosatka and it takes 10-14 mins depending in you have to got to the airstrip. But I always got the elite challenge. Idk kosatka is my favorite
@@mimih22a from my calculation. If you do the longfin approach and set the infiltration to main dock, you would still be faster going around the island to the drainage tunnel with the longfin than swimming from the kosatka since the kosatka spawns so far from the island. And the setup is easier imo, so its a win win

I got tired of the drainage. I muscle my way in the compound or use disguises. I do different things to get in
Me too. I use the plane to get in, fill my loot bag at the airstrip, and use the disguise uniform & the grappling hook. 12-14 minutes every time. Easy! :)

@@philippvoid1800 I'm talking about buying it after visiting El Rubio again. If you ever want to have the Longfin, you can buy it at Dock Tease at the price of $2,125.000. As for unlocking the trade price ($1,593.750), you must complete the Cayo Perico as a leader and with the Longfin Approach. I just asked Tylarious whether he had that boat or not. Longfin is one of the numerous Pegasus Vehicles.
It’s substantially the fastest boat in the game, if you like to play on the water then get it.

Longfin is the best way. Prep is easy and I don’t even have a phantom wedge. Tried with my MOC but doesn’t work.
But it takes so long. First to the police station, then back to a truck then back to the police station and then to the docks
@@SlimyGaming you should take the Phantom Wedge first before going to police station...I uploaded video about all 3 locations of Phantom Wedges for the 3 police stations... it saves a lot of time

Well... I have done this heist now... probably well over 200 times (I have many PC accounts + one Xbox account so - I have made them all rich)... And with general framework (get secondary loot first), I agree. But... There are merits to other approaches as well...
I usually do Kosatka approach the most, because I use 2 PC-s and 2 accounts to do only compound (if there is at least 3 piles of gold in it). Kosatka setup in my opinion is easier :) But that is just me... I use grenades to clear inside of the Merryweather submarine...
But Longfin does give you extra speed if you need to attack from North Docks or Main Docks. If scoping shows that best approach is from airfield, then I do Velum approach. All 3 setups are relatively easy and quick (for me Kosatka is quickest setup).
Also - there are other ways to get into the compound. One of the easiest is to scope out grappling equipment. If you start from either airport or North Docks and have guard clothing and grappling equipment - then you can get the secondary loot and then get on the bike and rush through rest of the island to compound and get in quickly... Supply truck is also a method, but that thing is really slow... But doable...

it's for the longfin setup. Instead of the pick up trucks, a phantom wedge would be more effective

Just got back into GTA after 5 years off, This heist has made me over 40 million in 10 days. It's actually really easy. I usually get caught a few times scouting the island. I can still complete everything in under an hour. I think it took 5 tries to to get the elite challenge the first time. Now I get it every time unless the longfin disappears on me. Thank you so much for this. It would have taken forever to buy all the new stuff that that has been released since I quit and came back otherwise.
