  • Using a tractor to skid and load large sugar pine logs into a dump trailer. Massey Ferguson MF 30 tractor with Farmi 501 Winch.
These logs will be cut into lumber on my LT 15 Woodmizer sawmill. The chainsaw I am using is a Stihl 044 with 32 inch bar.

If you need a touch more traction, just let the tyres down until you have 3 cleats engaging the ground, it looks like you've got them up on two cleats.
Your property is awesome. Its a different world here in Western Australia.

Those logs really are fantastic. I noticed that your front tires don't look very happy with those heavy logs.
    Good video.

The tires not being happy also has something to do with someone forgetting to put more air in them when he had the tractor near the compressor a few days earlier.

Pinion pine is my favorite, I won't know the sugar pine until you have me over for a meet & greet 😂😂

You will probably like sugar pine. It is my favorite pine. And like the pinion pine, the seeds are big and tasty.

Really been enjoying your videos! I would love to see a tour of your tractor and winch set up. I am considering something similar.

I have had other requests for that too. I will have to do that one day. Thank you for the kind words.

Nice work on taking down a tree properly and timely, love how you keep your saw razor sharp.

Like you said the video does not show slope well. I bet your pucker factor was up on getting those logs out. Good job.
