I always thought that style was clunky on the bottom. It has a very discordant line.
I loved her torso in the first one, too. It was made for her, 'cutting' her at the right place. But, the one she opted for was overall perfect for her, having that flamenco flair which suited her Latino origins and beauty so amazingly well.
How wonderful for everyone at Kleinfeld. The first dress is gorgeous.
This is from 2009. First dress would be "gorgeous" on someone else, but clearly Sarah didn't care so much for it, and the dress she ended up choosing was perfect for her.

It didn't make me cry, but it certainly made me grin ear to ear and think wistfully, "I wish I were the kind of person everyone loved, the way everyone obviously loves Sarah." Her husband must have have had a huge _WOW!_ moment when he saw her coming down the aisle, looking so killingly gorgeous.

She tried on four dresses. The first one had ruching with white flower thing on the bodice, the second had beading, the third was the ballgown, and the 4th was the one she chose.
When filming, the producer doesn't usually show the dresses in order of how they were tried on.

It was made for her, honoring her Latino origins in the loveliest way possible. I was looking for this clip for so long and finally there it is! Audrey and Debbie are some of my fav consultants as well, so this is such a treat! We need more of vintage moments like this!

@@thehungrygoldfish They said everyone thought they were crazy and wouldn’t make it 50 years ago. Reality is, you can “date” (string along) someone for 5 years, 10 years, 20 years and the moment you get married, they realize it was a mistake and get divorced. You can also be married to someone that long and never know who they are. The only guarantee in life, is death. Birth isn’t even guaranteed. 🤷♀️

This was hands down one of THE best episodes of the show! Sarah looked gorgeous in all 3 but the one she chose was perfect for her. How cool is it that it's one of the consultants and not only did she have her bio family with her, but she was surrounded by her work family as well. It was super sweet that the consultant that worked with her came in on her day off just to help Sarah choose a dress. Randy was adorable in this episode. Why can't every entourage that comes in with a bride, be as wonderful as the entourage that was with Sarah? I wish they would give last names of all the consultants. I have a feeling it's a protection issue, which I totally understand with today's world. Just wanted to say that.

One of the most beautiful appointments at Kleinfields. Sara is amazing, her mother is so sweet and her entourage so respectful and the dresses she tried were all stunning on her. She has a beautiful figure. I liked the first dress better, but her choice was great. It was a Pnina dress and she was there and nobody mentioned it.
With all those scallops it really gave her a Birth of Venus moment. Full on Botticelli Buh-BAM!

I remember this episode. I also remember in a follow-up episode, another bride came in wanting the same dress because she loved it, and Sarah was annoyed that another bride was "copying" her, like the designer is supposed to only make one dress for one person and never make it again. She should have just gotten a custom dress.
