The best option for this is to have two monitors. One to see what you are sharing and the other to view the meeting room. I believe Microsoft changed the interface a bit, so you will need to change your gallery view options to see all students during a screen share.

The toolbar keeps disappearing after a few seconds. Where does it go? Also, I tried clicking the give control and nothing happens. Does this not work for the tablets?
The toolbar auto-hides after a few seconds. When you click Give Control you will see names of people in your meeting to choose from. In this example I was the only one in the meeting, so I had no names to select.
This capability is only available in the Teams desktop app, correct? I didn't see the same option when using Teams over the web. Does the other user need the Teams app as well?
That could be related to Internet connections. Teams will analyze the connection and adjust the video stream as needed in order to keep you on the call. It may be your Internet speed or the presenter's speed.
When I click the box to "share system audio" should I mute myself at the same time so we can focus on the audio/video that's being shared? If I mute myself will the video still be able to be heard by the meeting participants?
Yes, you should mute yourself while you share video. This even improves the sound from the video you are sharing. Unfortunately this doesn't resolve the problem of sharing video through Teams results is really poor results.
Yes, I would recommend muting yourself. If your mic pics up noise in your surroundings, the audio from the computer will be lowered. Muting yourself will not impact the ability for your audience to hear the system audio.
How do you get the windows into the Browse space!!!!!!! Everyone talks about the windows we can share but no video tells us how to get windows into that space.

I had an meeting with someone and he ask me to share with him my open application that has sensitive business content on it. I am worried he might just steal my file while I was doing a demo to him.

Are you using Teams in the browser. It only works in the desktop version of Teams. Once you start sharing your screen, the person on the other end can click request control at top of screen. Or you can click Give Control at the top of your screen and select a participant.
helpful, thanks but sometimes when i am not the admin and somebody else share their presentation then, i cant see anything, the message pops up that "cannot display the file". Can you help!!!
When you choose a PowerPoint to share, in your view, you will still see the meeting room tools and chat, etc. However, your audience will see your PowerPoint in presentation mode. If you choose Desktop Screen 1, you can run your PowerPoint and see it full screen in your own view.

Hi, things have changed now. The Teams meeting now pops out in a new window allowing you to see chat and videos while sharing your content.

Perhaps you are using Teams in the browser. Have you tried using the desktop version instead?

Yes, you can, but the organizer will first need to make you a presenter.

Yes, only works if you have the app installed in your computer, the web version does not have the option "Give control"

As long as you are sharing your desktop, and not a specific app, then the file cannot be downloaded by participants.

No, you either share the whole desktop, select an open window/app, or select a recent PowerPoint.

I would report that issue to Microsoft. Click the question mark icon at the bottom left corner of the Teams app and then click "Report a Problem".

This is likely a limitation of Guest accounts. However, it could also be that they are on a mobile device or connecting in the browser.

Great question. I don't believe you can let a guest present, unless they create a Microsoft account and join your meeting with that account.

Yes you can..but you cant use video if you dont have a camera

it is so because one presantation can be shared at a time
Yes, other presenters in the meeting can start sharing at any time and thus end your sharing session.

Screen sharing sucks in teams, try to share a software.
To share software, you can choose Desktop when deciding what to share. This will allow you to share any app on your computer.
