One thing about this person among all others is, he values young talent.. v positive vibes, we as Pakistanis start from negative... He through out his talk stayed on positive side... Agree ?
I totally agree with Dr Naqvi that choosing youth and then having faith in them is what can create miracles. I worked with Dr Sb back at the time of the inception and development of HEC and have seen miracles happen. Hats off to you Dr. Sb. I am sure, you will bring another revolution in the lives of many more that happened during the last 2 decades through your zeal and passion to create a knowledge economy.
Wonderful, Dr. Naqvi has been know to me since Purdue, GIK, HEC, LUMS.... one of the finest clear headed engineer I have known. Thank you @Muzamil for having him on the podcast.

The cheating things really hits the heart.....i studied in a prestigious school then college. The concept in both the institutions before exam was how to cheat and attempt the paper. Then when i moved to the University, you cant even think of cheating there.....and believe me after a semester no one even peeked to the other persons paper.....so its very true that if you tell the students not to cheat they wont.
It was good listening to this podcast. While listening to Early days of HEC part. This question just disturbed my mind. Dr. Sohail is so thrilled and showing optimism about them evolving things with great people and teams in term of education system then why the major decisive system and curriculum of our matric and intermediate student wasn`t even touched let alone revolutionize till the date?
@@xesan555 may be you are right cuz i did fsc in 2017 and till then all was same and here the problem is not just the curriculums it`s the education system it does not teaches our kids logic or reasoning neither critical thinking and the matrices of assessment is so flawed as well. The system needs an overhaul not just adjustments.
I think our academia is unable to provide the platforms to work on the soft skills and some important and field related skills. Due to lack of soft skills, students couldn't create a good impact. Our Universities don't care about soft skills, they are only concern with course syllabus and theory cramming. There should be oppurtunities of internships concerning soft skills, specially project management, leadership, communication and critical thinking skills along with Research Methodology, Entrepreneurship and Career development fellowships. Our youth has a bewildering potential, lack of such essential oppurtunities are the hurdles resisting us.
The problem is still going to be same. Capable people who needed to build Pakistan left in 1980's to make there life better, instead of making things better here and somewhat suppressing the patriarchy. Now, younger generation is already in a economic crisis with so much left to do. I hope we find better solutions like this and how we can support the economy as well by keeping the talented people here.
As we all know that at a certain time Pakistan mai Telecom full bloom py tha, and now it's growing at a very steady rate in Pakistan as compare to other countries like 4G/5G. So my question is from Academia and industry people's that what will be the future of Telecom generally and especially in Pakistan because with 5G there will be a drastic changes in the digital world?
The leadership problems can derail any organisation, a country is a big organisation. Unfortunately the organisations are destroyed through interferences of bureaucracy and politicians. The promotions of weak people are pressured by these two organisations. The nepotism, ethnicity, non moral values have destroyed these organisations.
I completed my undergrad from Karachi in 1988. I felt LOADED with knowledge and ideas but like Dr. Naqvi said students upon graduation don't find avenues to use that knowlege. Couple of ideas: 1. Project Management should be an ESSENTIAL part at undergrad level. 2. Pakistani students desperately needs some INTERNSHIP programs. There is a good platform in India called Internshala. I think we can make a similar one in Pakistan as well which will help the students and will fulfill the need of industry as well. Great program as always!

Dear I did FSc in 1992 and this year taught my son in matric. There is evolution and transformation though more needs to be done.

It is the theme of tbt season 3. They intentionally make them look like cartoon characters
@@abdulmuizzusman a stupid theme indeed

Since the change of thumbnails to cartoons, I'm really finding it hard to click on your videos :(

I would be quite upset if I came over for a podcast and you used that as a thumbnail
who’s making these new thumbnails 💀 PLEASE STOP 🙏 it’s a whole jumpscare
Can you call someone from Metallurgy/Materials Science and Engineering Background to your podcast?
Just for your info, he is the elder brother of lawyer Feisal Naqvi (husband of actress Jugun Kazim) and cousin of the caretaker CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi.
That thumbnail images isn't very flattering. You made him look like a character from Guess Who
The thumbnail man looks like the " popele the sailor man ". Please don't add the 3d avatars of people.
Pakistan mein talent bhara pada hai Same old bravado !!!
