Bracebridge is beautiful.
If I built a house on the river I'd already have bought flood barriers as a precaution just saying. Like how did some of these people never think of this
If only theyd have paid more in carbon taxes that wouldnt be happening.

Or you know some of the money could be used in situations that involve climate change .. like worsening flooding year after year. there is going to have to be a clean up and there is going to have to be rebuilding done. that costs money.

Those houses are right on the river. It a beautiful place but it sometimes floods in the spring. It was a long cold winter and some upstream still had 2FT of snow in their backyards just two weeks ago.
idk what they were thinking building houses only 1 meter away from the river. you got to give the river some space incase of flooding and add some levees

It's called a flood plane people.. but ohhhh I wanna be able to see the river from my window cause it's Soo pretty... Well dumb dumb then accept the flooding when it happens
exactly, its not very smart to build a house 1 meter from a river. You need to give the river some space or itll overwhelm with water.

Little late on the sandbagging..has to have wide base, on high dry ground. At least they would not have had to shovel snow as MB does usually to get ahead a keep up on crests...

It was not cut for Bracebridge; Ford has a home there.
We had the warning at the last summit, so we already knew that this was going to happen. Yet in every scene in this video, I see gas cars instead of electric cars.

It empties into Georgian Bay (Lake Huron.)
The river empties into Lake Muskoka which empties into the Moon River at Bala then the Moon River empties into Georgian Bay on Lake Huron.
The river is angry and warning us to change our ways or else.

The Bracebridge Falls looks powerful most of the time. It is a waterfall. Does anyone say Niagara Falls looks angry?
