Captain Hook's Rock [music and text by Edoardo Bennato]

This is a "homemade" demo created to present the song of Captain Hook's Rock.
We have collected the images from the film of the Italian musical (not all of them are of excellent quality). The intent of the demo is to give an idea of what an English version of the musical Peter Pan might be like. The singers are enthusiastic friends who helped us with the recording.
The song performed in this musical is conceived under the light of rock 'n' roll. It offer a renewed characterisation of the story character Hook, represented as an old-fashioned English nobleman with his schizophrenic paranoia, is comical and ridiculous.

Chiunque ha fatto la traduzione Inglese dei testi ha fatto un *grande* lavoro! Sembra nata cosi'! Fa venire voglia di vedere come verrebbe il resto dell'opera. :-)

Bella versione. Ma perchè non incidere una traduzione inglese di tutto l'album "sono solo canzonette" ? Meglio ancora, perchè non fare un concept album (in inglese) di tutte le canzoni che trattano di fiabe (quindi anche di burattino senza fili), una sorta di SHREK musicale?

Grande, però "testo" in inglese sarebbe meglio scriverlo con "Lyrics" che è la forma corretta per esprimere "testo di una canzone". Greeting
