I agree he would not be my brand ambassador, Jay had to constantly keep asking questions when this guy should have been putting on an infomercial. That's selling the product. If you're not smiling and laughing with Jay Leno there's something seriously wrong. This was the biggest exposure this company will probably ever have and I feel like they blew it not finding a better person to represent.

12:29 - The silverware, and all the dishes are compactly stored so they don't rattle inside the cabinets. This significantly reduces interior noise while driving. You have road noise from outside, metal panels vibrating, and interior rattles from screen door, utensils, etc. By using this sandwiched foam core, they have insulated and reduced outdoor noise significantly, no metal panels to rattle, and everything is wedged in tight to prevent clinking sounds from inside. Very well done.
An awesome build, this is not just a house but a survival camp. I am impressed with the mileage at 10 - 12 mpg. This is what my Class C Ford E350 V10 gets with much less weight on it. A very heavy duty but agile RV, beautifully crafted.

Once i met a german couple in their early sixties, who had this huge 4x4 truck camper. He was a physician, she a high school chemistry teacher. Both retired.
They said they still owned a house in Germany, probably some huge villa, but that they lived there only three months annually. Mostly to spend time with their children and grandkids.
The truck was made by Orangework. And this vid reminded me of the build quality and engineering that goes into these Globetrotter RV's. That couple were great, friendly people, living a great life. And that's what these vehicles are about.

(no wind), and beautiful day so they went to explore on boats, and hours later came around this point to see another fishing camp, but what was really funny is that the lodge they stumbled on was called Cornhusker fishing camp, or maybe just Husker fishing camp, I cant remember, but they stopped and it turns out that the owners of the place were from Omaha!!!! Pretty cool. I'd skip some of the luxury stuff (wine cellar) and the fitted drawers take up too much space. Put the knives and flatware in canvas roll-ups like you can use for wrenches. Don't need power lift for the extra counter space that folds up. Just something to break. A latch is good enough. EXPENSIVE! The bare Ford chassis I bet is $100,000 on its own. Saw a video that someone took an ex ambulance and converted it. Another took an older class B+, put 4wd axle in the front and super singles on the rear to make something similar. It was $100,000 by the time he was done and that was with an older motor home that was fairly cheap to start with. If you want something to go out into the woods with, you have to pay because the cardboard junk the regular builders have won't hold up.

@Joe Thibodeau that would require someone with the skills, workshop, tools, interest, and/or time necessary to create your own. 99% of people don’t have at least one of the aforementioned things.
If you leave a comment like, “there are much better choices…” it’s reasonable for someone to ask what those are. I wasn’t looking for you to write a novel, I was looking for you to say, “brand X, or brand Y, look them up.” Instead, I got a smarta$$ shallow “Google is your friend” comment. Pretty sad response all around.

@Joe Thibodeau when you suggest there are better options, that means you supposedly know what those options are. Actual comparable options. Options one can:
      1. Buy new or gently used (not decades old)
      2. Not some one off custom vehicle. One with a factory warranty and within the same universe of fit and finish/polish.
      3. One with all the 21 century luxury integrated into it.
The people that buy these don’t care about saving a couple hundred grand. What you are doing is clearly not remotely understanding the customer base who buys these, then you compare one of these to a 34 year old vehicle with very few of the same amenities.
I’ll continue to wait for you to list the other, comparable options (again, no apples to oranges comparisons) that are so much cheaper and comparable to this. I have a feeling I’ll be waiting forever because if you had some you would have simply listed them in your first response.

@Joe Thibodeau I think you're missing the point of this vehicle, I admire the enthusiasm for custom builds etc, for a hobbiest its a great idea and yes, will of course be cheaper than an EarthRoamer. But as the man said, they're not in the same league, not when it comes to luxury, fit/finish, reliability, style, homely features etc.
