There is a hammer in Act 3 that will return to your hand after thrown and if used by a Dwarf it deals more damage with even more damage against enemies that are large or bigger (Dwarven thrower), which is thematically super fun for a barbarian or fighter.
good vid...just wrong about bard in a few ways. I know its hyper specific, but you can be a pure swordsbard and be the biggest battleground support in the game while also outputting significant damage. dump str, drink elixers, use titanstring...its just best damage. Helmet of arcane acuity in act 2 and then in act 3 band of the mystic scoundrel gives you the ability to use enchantment and illusion spells as a bonus action. Arcane acuity gives you more of a chance to have those spells hit. Enchantment/illusion spells include hold person, hold monster, hypnotic pattern...you see where I am going with this.
Some builds missing imo are: abjuration wizard(does require some min max), moon druid, sorlock, light cleric, multiclassing berserker barbarian into eldrich knight, storm sorcerer and last but certainly not least, paladin with warlock.
life cleric is only good as camp buffing machine... having a party member not being able to contribute in combat and start fight late is just a massive handicap. I remember you playing ESO you should know how valuable it is to have high damge potential in order to have quick fights and skip various mechanics it is more or less the same in BG3.
Karlach Barbarian/Monk is crazy strong. You could also just go Barbarian instead of fighter for the Monk/Thief/Barbarian build. Rage + Tavern Brawler + Soul Coins, crazy damage stacking.
The most fun I had until now is 6lv on open hand monk and 6 in light domain cleric, by chapter 2 you have all the gear you need, radiating orbs everywhere
I 100% agree this game is made for Paladin. Literally all of my playthroughs have been with charisma base classes (Paladin, sorcerer, warlock) and none of them felt as good as being a big golden bastard with the blood of a god in my hand smiting heretics. Im startjng to sound like im talking about 40k but you get the point lol. Great video, great build ideas for me to try
Warlock is cool imo. Its pretty limited thou with higher spell slots. However short rest gives them back which covers that lmitation pretty well. Having bard with it helps alot. Eldritch blast is so good that I mostly used it because its spammable and saves lot of long rests. Many gears pieces boost it alot. I use Wyll early to midgame game over Gale to accumulate supplies in tactitian mode.
5 levels pact of the blade GOO warlock, 7 levels oathbreaker paladin. Extra attacks from pact of the blade and paladin stack and you get 2 lvl 3 smites per short rest. Strongest melee build on non-honor difficulty, by far.
I had the most fun using a dark urge rogue/sorlock 3 assasin rogue 2 goo warlock At least 3 sorcerer of any subclass suits your playstyle Fishing for surprise attack and going full crit on eldritch blast with quickened spell and craterflesh glove in act three. I highly recommend Potent robe, damage can be lacking sometimes but with scroll you can manage for that. Doable on solo, at least in tactician!
I am enjoying Warlock but as a single-class build it is weaker than most other classes. But i find if you power-build in this game it makes most fights trivial even in Honour mode. You have to create your own difficulty level with “house rules” like no Paladins. i don’t use them anymore, although they see fun and powerful. You could also “ban” combat scroll-casting or potion brewing or certain elixirs (like strength).
So Oath of Vengeance Paladin is actually good? Do I need to put it to 5 or keep it lower level then multi-class? I want practical power efficiency and utility
There’s a few builds out there already that utilise multiclassing into a bard. 2 paladin 10 bard but you don’t even play paladin until lvl 8 when you respec into 2pal 6bard so it’s not really a paladin build until act 2
@@someoneelse4939 if you knock Alfira out, then in the camp scene she is replaced by some random npc. When that happens Alfira doesn't die and she can give you potent robe in act 2.
5 gloomstalker, 5 thief rogue for the extra bonus action and 2 fighter for second wind and action surge. I use thief too as in act 2 in moonrise theres a vendor that sells the risky ring, gives advantage on all attacks but disadvantage on saving throws but if you have a paladin in the party with aura of protection or a counterspeller to stop the saves all together it mitigates it but still gives advantage AND an extra bonus action
I mean there's already another backpack trick on top of people figuring out the bound weapon trick. Vendors are still essentially free if you're looking to glitch.
All of your 5/4/3 builds should consider going 5/4/2/1 with the final level being War domain cleric. I prefer the extra attack to the Battlemaster manuevers.
I completely disagree that crossbows in the end game are ineffective. My very first character was five levels of dread ambusher and seven levels of rogue and I can tell you that there were very few creatures in the game that I could not kill with one turn and that was way back before they even had patches for the game so when you make statements like that that crossbows can't be effective, it makes you sound ignorant, unless you're just talking about regular crossbows and not hand crossbows because of the bill definitely did have hand crossbows but other than the Elder brain and Raphael I don't think that there was any creature that I couldn't kill in one round with just that character
He’s more then likely bored/burnt out on eso. Not to mention eso really hasn’t changed that much which for causal players is a good thing but hardcore players and content creators it makes it hard to find ideas for videos when the meta stays the same

I love these combinations! It has changed how I'm going to approach with my monk.

Take a point in storm-sorcerer, and you could make mini-Thor.

College of swords build with crossbow expert and the baal assassin armor is un-fuggin-stoppable

Thanks for the builds. Love the skip ahead timeline notes.
OH YEAH! Baldur's Gate 3 is so back, baby!
Thanks Deltia, you are a legend!
RUclips Timestamp: 1. Seriously, you skipped?
Sorry, I'll go back... Never got called out like that before... 😅
Great vid!
I love this list - I would love to see a "this build would be good for Astarion - but - Avoid this if you're using Shadowheart...."
Was just checking out your guides for my paladin! Always a great resource! Thanks for your continued efforts!

I still love barbarian with rougue for the extra bonus action

Is warlock no good? Was thinking great old one warlock

Can you 2 man this game? Me n a friend are wanting to play this game but dont want to control anything but our own characters.
U can solo this game even with no gear, so go ahead
Yeah I whiffed on Monk too. Then I created one and had a ball beating guys to death all game.

Dark Urge is literally the best playthrough ... you don't have to play it evil. Redemption arc works quite well
Agreed.
It's just a shame that you don't have access to the best robe for warlocks if you play Durge.

Instead of thief with gloomstalker, do assassin your damage you spike higher

Nugget builds!
So we got Patch 7 in exchange for the backpack trick. And I already got mods. Lame. Griping aside great video Man!

What about ESO 😞 or at the very least SpaceMarine! BG3 is a snoozefest idk how you play it Deltia! You used to be a button mashing meathead!

eso is a roleplaying housing social game at this point now.
