1.Whyll Warlock/Paladin (fire+necro) , 2.Astarion Rogue/Ranger, 3. Halsin Druid/Barbarian, 4. Laezel Fighther/Wizard (acid), 5. Shadowheart Cleric (radiant),6. Minsk Barbarian/Rogue,7.Gale Wizard/Druid (necro+poison). I probably make Karlach Monk/Cleric (fire+radiant) because it is so in theme with her. I have no idea what to give Jaheira and Minthara. Re: your Swords Bard build, you can combine the Band of Mystic Scoundrel with Helmet of Arcane Acuity. After attacking with Ranged Flourish, the ring lets Swords Bard use bonus action(s) to cast Enchantment/Illusion spells such as Hold Person/Monster, Command (*obtainable thru Magical Secrets at L10), Vicious Mockery, Fear, Crown of Madness, Hypnotic Pattern, Invisibility, etc. The Helmet of Arcane Acuity stacks with your multiple flourishes to increase your spell DC thru Arcane Acuity, so your Enchantment/Illusion spells are pretty much guaranteed to hit.

I personally prefer cleric druid for necromancer, you still go 6/6 but being in the cleric let's you go into heavy armor/martial weapons, as well as keeping all your spells in wisdom. You aren't nearly as squishy so managing your summons becomes extra instead of required I just think of it like more of a death knight. So you can max out str, con, wisdom and not be entirely Magic, downside you lose the healing off necromancer damage, but as a cleric you can not only heal but increase the health of your summons with aid. Really just comes down to preference.

This is a very useful and comprehensive guide.
One thing I'll say is that adding divine smite to a crit doesn't need a reaction.
I did a slightly different build with Wyll (PoB 7, OoV 5) and in one fight got 4 crits (6 attacks due to haste) in one round.
So the duellist sword is good for it's crit reduction, even for EBlast, it's extra reaction is not necessary for divine smite

    I love your build !
Sorry for my bad english...I wish add 2 things :
Throwzerker : you can throw all weapons in your bag, not only the 1 equipped. That's why the best is to have the DWARVEN THROWER too because when enemies are too close to your teammate you can throw this hammer. Less damage than NYRULNA but no side effects.
Monk n'Monster : I skip the 2 lvl of warrior (goodbye action surge :'( ) to get thief 4/monk 8 + Club Of Hill Giant Strength (in second hand, first hand empty) + VEST OF SOUL REJUVENATION + BOOTS OF UNINHIBITED KUSHIGO + GLOVES OF SOUL CATCHING
Like this you forget strength and you can build 8 STR (=>19 Club of hill) /17 dex ( +1 feat athlete +2 feat ability improv => 20 dex) /17 con (+1 feat tavern brawler => 18) /8 int/16 wis /8 char
freedom for helmet (maybe HORNS OF THE BERSERKER), cloaks, accessories.
With this build you have exactly the same damage as your build ( less strength but more dex/wisdom) and no armor : you got all "monk without armor" advantages.
+ you get more Ki points (9) and amazing jumps. CA = 20 without any accessories/cloaks/helmet/potion/buff.
can't be charmed or frightened, and get the great passive EVASION.

I suggest putting more points into Wisdom as it could be your main attribute. With the Boots of Uninhibited Kushigo, you can use the Wisdom modifier for your attack damage. This means you can get +8 from Strength (Tavern Brawler feat + Elixir of Cloud Giant Strength) and +6 from Wisdom (22 - 1 from Uncle Antie's buff and 2 from the mirror of loss).

  • @TheTraveler980
    @TheTraveler980 7 месяцев назад +1

    Just to clear some confusion:
When multiclassing, you need to focus on two things: Profiencies and the Ability Modifier (which is your main stat for dealing damage).
At 12:43, this combination only works if you pick your first class for Profiencies you want, then pick your 2nd class for damage (since once you multiclass into something else that uses a different primary stat, that stat will be used from then onward, so no Wisdom-based spells for damage).
This is not an issue if you combine classes such as Bard and Paladin since they both use Charisma as damage stats. What you have to decide with multiclassing is what skills you want from one class that offers supportive skills while another class offers damaging skills.

  • @realperson4993
    @realperson4993 9 месяцев назад +6

Some notes on the dueler (rouge/Bard hand crossbow build):
1: ranged slashing flourish can target the same target twice.
2: Don't use the firestoker and hellfire hand crossbow together. By the time you get the hellfire hand crossbow, you have hand crossbows better than the firestoker. Any old +1 hand crossbow is better than the firestoker. What you really want to pair the hellfire hand crossbow with is the ne'er misser. A regular weapon dealing pure force damage is amazing. You also get access to both the hellfire hand crossbows scorching ray and the ne'er misser's magic missles..
3: Take 2 levels of vengeance paladin. You can use your spell slots on smites, and you can use the ability that gives you extra radiant damage and a chance to daze on hit. I also think that you can use slashing flourish and divine Smite at the same type if you set your reactions right? I could be wrong

As a moon druid I wouldn't discount the myrmidon shapeshift forms especially the lightning and water ones. They'll have all the same abilities of the ones you can summon in through upcasted conjure elemental, but moon druid's get a triple multi attack like fighters which is amazing with these forms. For example I was just in the steel watch foundry and I brought Halsin instead of my usual melee striker Karlach. Him being able to use electric flail for not only the lightning damage that the watchers are vulnerable to but also the stun attached to said attack and he can use it three times. The water one has a similar attack but instead of stun it inflicts chilled which is great if you got a cold caster in your group like how my wizard sorcerer hybrid is since chilled makes things vulnerable to cold damage. The water myrmidon is also great at spreading ice surfaces around with it's triple burst suped up cold chromatic orb spell. Least of all, all of these forms have free misty steps and can fly so they're extremely mobile.

Something to note about the Myrmidons is they track your weapon proficiency and have a +3 weapon themselves. So if you don't have trident proficiency you wont get that bonus. But if you do you can get a better chance to hit. Another thing to note is the Trident in the Water Myrmidon can get the benefit from great weapon master so you can have a triple attack GWM on a Druid.

The only problem is to make sure that you can proc sneak attack every turn. So can't use improvised weapons
But my current character is something like that. Currently barb 5/monk 1/rogue 2. Though they are more of a frontline brawler punching people left right and centre. Really excited for the future build though down below (with some spoilers)
when the levels are right make it only 3 barb and 6 monk (along with rogue 3 for theif). Have 3 BAs and extra attack, plus grab the ilithid power that lets you use actions as BAs to make 8 attacks without investing anything. Plus with the helldusker gauntlets get extra necrotic damage. Save your ki to deflect missiles (which I believe can get sneak attack, though I'm not sure. Haven't tested it yet)

@@evanpeabody3031 I know this is 6 months old, but if you still play, I found out that Improvised Weapon can trigger Sneak Attack if you're holding a Finesse weapon!
      Berserker Thief:
I was triggering Sneak Attack by (while holding Phalar Aluve) carrying an enemy over to my ally and slamming them on the ground next to that ally, fulfilling the "near an ally" Sneak Attack requirement.
With Tavern Brawler, Phalar: Shriek +1d4, the Lightning Charge boots +1, +2 Radiant damage glow ring, Frenzy rage +2, and the Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo +1d4, it does some pretty good damage for how jank it is. It can still take people out with just the boots and gloves buffing it, too.
This damage is partially because the Kushigo gloves, for some reason, also increase some of your Shriek procs and also your Sneak Attack damage by 1d4... and Rage adds 2 to some of those as well? All of these buffs and triggers inter-stack with each other, and it's really weird.

Lv. 4 Sorcerer(draconic with white ancestry for armor of agathis spell). Lv. 2 Cleric(tempest for maximum damage with lightning damage). Lv 6 Wizard( abjuration for the ward). You can learn spells and add them to your book due to wizard. Cast armor of agathis at 6th level you gain 30 temp hp, when someone hits you with a melee atk they automatically take 30 damage but if you have them wet they will take 60. Cast fire shield spell but choose the cold version and they will take around 20 more damge so just for hitting you they take around 80 damge automatically, no save. Then on your turn you can group enimies with the black hole ilithid power snd cast your lightning spells which will do double damage due to them being wet and you can slso maximize it due to being tempest cleric. This is a better upgrade to his lightning build. Trust me add in the abjuration wizard and you will be unstoppable especially if you have someone cast warding bond on you. You now take half damagefrom all attacks then the remainingdamge is reduced by your abjuration ward which can get over 10 so DR 10 or 12. You will end up taking 0 damage when you get hit. Enimies will literally skip their turn rather then hit you and take 80 damage and get unalived. Keep Gale at camp and respec him into a cleric with max con andcthe tough feat for as many hp as possible. Have him cast wqrding bond on you everyday when you wake up from rest then kick him out your party and leave him at camp. Warding bond still works on you and gale auto heals himself( regardless of his class). He is so important to the story in a way and is a ticking bomb so he auto heals when he take damage, this auto heal only works when hes at camp out of your party. Its a nasty trick that gives you warding bond for free and combined with the abjuration ward wizard makes you the most op character I promise

For the Kung-fu healer, it wight be worth a thought, to go open hand instead of shadow or elements because of the better flurry and damage. At Level 3 the ohm gets the fantastic ability to knock enemies prone with their flurry, which makes it hard for the enemies to leave your spirit guardians (difficult terrain + half movement to stand up effectively quarters the enemies speed). Also at level 6 the ohm does an additional 1d4 of either psychic, radiant, or necrotic damage per unarmed strike

One thing of note to the storm sorcerer, tempest cleric build
The illithid luck of the far realms can be activated with channel divinity and water to do a double damage, crit max damage roll
It only works with Lightning Chromatic orb though and maybe witch bolt I’m not sure on that one
It allows you to do roughly 260 damage in a single attack one shotting most bosses

Personally i dont recommend the necromancer build that is in the video. Both Spore Druid and Necromancy Wizard are heavily reliant on levels for their respective mechanics. Staying at lvl 6 for both severely limits their capabilities.
So if you're gonna multiclass for a necromancy build it's best for low level dips and primarily focusing on one class. That being said I think Druid isnt good for summoning as its summons are extremely weak but its better at dealing Necrotic daamge than Wizard is due to its spores.
    There are two suggestions i have for this. 11 wizard/ 1 warlock and 11 wizard/ 1 cleric.
11 wizard/ 1 warlock focuses more on crits as the crits cause frighten which the Mummy we can summon from the lvl 6 spell "Create Undead" gets a multi attack on. Obtain crit gear to make it even better.
11 wizard/ 1 cleric allows us to buff our summons with bless. And if we take the knowledge subclass we learn Command which is great extra CC that doesnt require concentration.

level 6 shadow monk, level 2 fighter, rogue level 4... 8 attacks with free first strike if you use them. 6 attacks in one of your rounds and 4 attacks in every other round.
lets you teleport without restraint as long as the area isn't lit up. if you are a durge you get a cape that gives you invisibility for two rounds when you kill an enemy... combined with gloves of hill giant strength which set strength to 23, legendary helldusk armor (unarmored defense doesn't matter much unless both your dex and wisdom are like 20), the amulet that sets your constitution to 23, ring of regeneration and crushers ring to get +3m. get tavern brawler and you're set. you can also use the soulcatcher gloves if you want to keep using cloud giant potions or hill giant potions but I cannot be bothered with that... I output close to 100 and sometimes over a 100 dmg every round and I'm almost impossible to hit.. plus if you get the tharcite curse and cure it then you et +20 temp hit points everytime you long rest... which brings your hp up to 250 which more than a myrmidon. so even if you do get hit, you can tank it... then get unstable blood from the drow with the potion fetish and you become a one man army

Same! I did my Honour run as Bardlock. Started with 2 Lock for Eldritch Blast (Agonizing/Repelling) because I found in my first run that Lore Bard struggles with damage sometimes. The two early levels in Warlock made the tough start to Act 1/Honour a lot easier. Then I dumped all remaining levels into Lore Bard (taking Counterspell/HoH, etc.) so that I could pass all the Persuasion/etc. checks by Acts 2 & 3.

For the storm sorcerer build, it's better just to spec fully into sorcerer.
By taking 2 points into Cleric, you miss level 6 spells. While this would offer you one "nuke" per short rest, the level 6 chain lightning offers you more consistent damage throughout fights.
I seen this build take 11 levels sorcerer, one cleric specifically for the heavy armor bonus. If you plan to wear that. Otherwise 12 into sorcerer is better.

My favorite build so far, although its absolutely rediculous I find it fun, is the skill master. All it takes is a githyanki, doesnt have to be gith but makes it better because of ancestral knowledge, 3 levels of knowledge cleric, 3 levels of lore bard, and divination wizard to wrap it all togeather. Between the racial ability, class features, and spells you just cant fail at anything you do. Admitedly not great for combat but thats not the point.

College of swords/pact of the blade bardlock with the duelist’s prerogative rapier (save Vanra quest) and the bhaalist armor (sold by the merchant that shows up after you impress the murder tribunal) was my favorite combination ever. Multiple main attacks from the multi-classing plus the bonus main attack from the rapier, combined with the armor’s effect (aura of murder) which makes enemies vulnerable to piercing damage (unless resistant or immune). I was doing 100+ damage per turn 😳

I'm playing as a warlock(5), open hand monk(7). And oh boy is it fun. Obviously due to multiple ability scores I'm using various boosting items, elixirs included. Birthright for extra charisma, cloak of displacement cause it's great, then the helldusk armour/gloves/boots. Yes I know you should have armour but I have enough movement with the flight ability. Risky ring, caustic band, and the constitution amulet. I get three attacks with pact of the blade (don't think you get three on honour mode), and the flurry of blows for bonus actions is op. Actor and tavern brawler for feats. I have 22 charisma cause of the mirror of loss so you could reduce charisma and go for great weapon master (I'm using baldurans giant slayer). Or put the diadem on for a lil bit extra damage with sword after a flurry of blows. All my other party members died in the assembly hall against the army of steel watchers but tbh I wasn't planning on surviving cause I was testing damage. My wonk (warlock monk) proceeded to solo the rest of the enemies with only using one health potion. Now I'm sure it's not the most optimised build but it's so fun.

damage when the target hasnt been yet attacked togheter with bhaals amulet what gives bleed on targets that also havent been atacked togheter with a build
that reduces the rolls for crits when invisible what you always can do out of a fight as a duergar

Another good combo that you don't see much about is Cleric / Paladin. I'm currently running a War cleric / Oath of Vengeance Paladin. I'm at 12 with 7 / 5 split but I'm contemplating maybe going 5/5/2 with the 2 being fighter for the action surge. With the 7/5 you get THREE attacks opening even if you misty step to boss. That is the 2 hits from level 5 paladin and 1 additional hit from the special extra from war cleric. I haven't tried it yet to see how many extra attacks you get with action surge from fighter. Most things don't live past a couple of V tier smites....and I am actually sword and board spec'ed for defense.

    • @common_undead
      @common_undead 8 месяцев назад +1

So a couple of things: 1. You do not get 3 attacks on the opening round despite misty step. The war priest charge extra attack uses your bonus action, and so does misty step. And you can get bonus action attacks pretty easily by going great weapon master and having someone in your team land a hold person.
      2. V tier smites are an inefficient use of your spell slots, since smite damage doesn't scale past level 4 spell slots (capping out at 5d8 damage, and 6d8 against fiends/undeads).
      3. Going fighter for action surge is a good idea for nova damage.
      4. Might I suggest going Tempest domain instead of war domain? The tempest domain channel ability allows you to do max damage with thunder or lightning spells instead of rolling for it. This includes thunderous smite and any extra divine smite die you add to it via reaction. This allows you to do a guarantied max damage attack at the cost of a channel divinity + a level 1 spell slot + a bonus action. On a crit, with a level 1 thunderous smite + level 4 divine smite using a greatsword, this will do: 4d6 + 4d6 + 10d8 = 128 guarantied damage, and you can do this 3 times/short rest via level 6 cleric and an amulet you can get in act 3.

    *Critical-Throw-Orc:*
The idea is to throw the returning Pike as soon as level 4 for ranged attacks, while reckless crit in close Combat. Start as Half-Orc for the 1HP Comeback and the extra Crit-Damage. We‘re trying to always have the Potion that decreases the "need to crit" by one.
    17STR, 14DEX, 16CON, Starterclass Barbarian:
    - LV1: Rage
    - LV2: Reckless Attack
    - LV3: Berserker
    - LV4: Tavern Brawler (18STR)
    - LV5: Extra-Attack
    Rogue:
    - LV6 (R1): Expertise
    - LV7 (R2): Dash, Recover & Hide as BA
    - LV8 (R3): Thief (Second Thow-BA)
    - LV9 (R4): Second Feat (20STR)
    Fighter:
    - LV10 (F1): Fight Style (+1RK)
    - LV11 (F2): Action Search
    - LV12 (F3): Champion
You could Respec to 3-Thief-Rogue as Startingclass for DEX & INT saving throws (because we're bad in it), then take only 3-Berserker Level and be a 6-Champion while still gaining the Extra-Attack and the second Feat. We don’t start as Fighter in first place because Rage and Reckless attack is much more strong in the early game than to crit with 19, we actually only continue to take Barbarian Levels to get Extra Attack as fast as possible.

Ngl I use the Wizard class a lot for second class to get spells, though I also like the idea of Barbarian/Monk, Monk/Paladin and Barbarian/Paladin. But I am fond of giving my Druid and Sorcerer the Wizard as secondary class just for all the scroll learning. Lae'Zel having second class as Monk is also pretty broken, and carries me. I am also fond of making Astarion a rogue/Ranger hybrid to give him some animals to sic on some poor sods. XD I am thinking of doing a campaign with everyone having Wizard as secondary class and have them learn everything in scrolls and then just blast our ways through from afar. XD Maybe with several summoning spells at the same time, so extra help.

Bardlock is OP. College of swords bards with hand crossbows can attack 5 times in one turn at level 5. My swords bard does upwards of 40 damage per hit

You could also drink an elixir of bloodlust to get another attack after defeating an enemy

I took 4 lvs of thief (for the ability score) on my EK. Now he can make 2 attacks + a cantrip. I'm running the 5e spells mod so lately I've been charging (chrger feat) people. Knocking them down. Then booming blade + 2 attacks with advantage then backing up 10ft. If they don't get up and move to me (triggers booming blade) then on the next turn they get charged again and knocked down for advantage. It's a lose-lose for the character that I hit. It's genius. Think I'm going to try to find some way to make it work on tabletop. Theif wont give me an extra bonus attack but I could maybe make it work with like a longsword or rapier swinging bladesinger and take battle master and then just trip attack them for the extra damage and the safe disengage. Or run the same setup but with a pole arm and pole arm master + sentinel. So I can just stop their advance if they move on me doubling the suffering they take from booming blade.

Interesting video, however, it would be useful to include the recommended gear to wear for each build. In this game, the chosen classes are as important as the things you wear. Good clothing with poor choice of classes will be a failure in the same way than a good choice of classes but with awful gear.

Tbh i love to add champion to my thief swords bard dual wielder. With all the decrease crit items you attack 6-8 times per round and half of those are crits. You melt enemies. The minus of this build is only one feat, but you dont need any feat other than Sharpshooter

For pala/warlock, Pact of the blade doesn't stack with extra attack in honour mode. So only 2 attacks sadly

is that intentional or a bug?

    • @gipsymelody1268
      @gipsymelody1268 9 месяцев назад +1

intentional! in honor there is not allowed the haste extra attack!
so even if you use potion or spell you get the + action slot but the extra attack skill not allowed! so a level 5 fighter can attack only 3 times instead of 4!

For the rogue ranger build only take 3 levels in both with 6 levels in bard college of swords between them for extra attack and flourish. The flourish doubles your attacks using bardic inspiration.

In my opinion going for 2 fighter levels is worse than 8 monk 4 rogue, since you lose out on a feat, 2 ki points per short rest, stillness of mind and evasion and just get proficiencies you wont use, second wind which is worse than punching with your bonus action and action surge, which is comparable to 2 ki points since both let you punch two more times. Stillness of mind isnt that amazing since it rarely procs but evasion is great, it often leads to enemy spellcasters dealing no damage to you, since you already have high dextery as a monk and if not you still only take half damage. Action surge allows a bit more burst damage compared to 2 more ki points, but tb monk already deals so much damage you dont really need that small burst boost. Getting one more feat and putting it into 2 points of wisdom will also get you 2 more damage per punch, higher ac and better saves against spells.

I was going to leave druid alone but when i heard you say ward i had to make the comment
    Dru-id, two syllables, not drude
Ward is pronounced like war but with a d on the end (word)
    Love the video
