He'll want you to give him cash to bring up his approval, but instead you can just buy the ring in the trading screen.

About ORTHON EXPLOSIVES. It can also be obtained through picking up bombs thrown by Yurgir during his fight ( must be the first turn they are thrown) before they are armed. There is 14 of them to get.
They are a totally different item that deals WAY more damage, but they also become strange when you put them away. They work best if you drop them into fire instead of throwing them.

I think its a little dishonest to say "you lose a little approval" when pushing Astarion to drink the foul blood. If you do this, you are permanently locked out of his romance. I had a friend who was pissed about that when they figured it out in their run

An important hidden quirk of the Rat Bat: AFAIK, it is the only weapon that still uses the Damage Rider Source bug/feature in Honor Mode that they patched out. In other words, in Honor Mode, it triggers Damage Riders twice per hit (once for the base damage, and once for the added piercing damage.) This actually makes it a pretty powerful, top-tier weapon in Honor Mode, if you stack a lot of DRs. I like it a lot for a thuggish sort of Durge character.

Using it on a companion will reduce their relationship with you by 10 and using it on an npc will make them hostile afterwards with varying consequences. So imo the lvl 2 spell Enhance Ability is a LOT more versatile and even adds bonuses if you chose one of the physical stats, without any of the drawbacks of the aforementioned two. (also Charmed is the worst CC in the game so that's not even a point worth arguing.)

Not correct: You can get the pixie and bell from Last Light Inn. I did that instead. You go to the combat wheel and click the lantern to get the dialogue.
I don’t think I saw this in the video, but I crafted a shadow moon lantern in Balthazar’s secret room at the ritual table with the dead pixies. It’s my 4th playthrough and I’ve never found this. I needed Gale in my party and I had him go to the table to interact with the ritual symbol. It’s fairly self explanatory from there. I should note that I’m romancing him this time around so idk if that makes a difference.

I received the lvl 3 shadow spell slot 1st, then did the moon lantern thing, I have waited 2 long rests now, and still no passive effect. He pronounced Avernus differently like we don’t hear Avernus over and over and I was like huh? So what I’ve deduced is that there are people who play D&D and have been pronouncing these names that way for a while maybe? That’s the only way I can make sense of this
It seems buggy this way. My latest playthrough (Astarion), I got all three armor pieces from that alloy. My previous one (Gale), I only got the armor. I think it might be clicking too fast that consumes it. I made Astarion back out of the conversation and repeat the alloy option and that way I didn't have to use up any iron, just the one alloy piece.
I feel like ive played this whole game wrong i took put the goblin camp with my own people never even saw their big battle. Then i took the tower down with my people had no idea you could storm it with the harpers 😂
It's not "wrong" or "right," just how your game went. That's what makes it interesting, the variety of possible events that can happen. Some people did everything by the book. Some people accidentally aggroed the Druids and ended up getting all the tieflings killed at the Grove. And everyone hit Quick Load.

Pretty sure one of the merchants in Moonrise Tower has the Potent Robes if you end up going Dark Urge. Can't remember who exactly had it, but I definitely saw it while playing through my Durge Honor Mode with my buddy.

Ok ive been watching a lot of bg3 tips and tricks videos across multiple creators, so i am probably getting a lot of repeats, understandable, but i'm starting to figure out things that aren't being talked about enough, like the fact that Goodberry lets you perform free full rests if you can manage to make 80 Goodberries. I have scoured youtube for anybody making a video about this, nobody seems to care about being able to perform free full rests just by making camp casters, or optimizing warding bond across party members to maximize the amount of damage you can take across your whole party and camp cast team. Things like these aren't being flaunted enough. Or the "sword in the stone" Phalar Aluve that people seem to completely skip over, has 2 amazing buffs that do not require concentration and can be used by a party member that isn't using a melee weapon. These are pretty much act 2 tips too, considering camp casting becomes very juicy around level 5-9.
Concerning using Goodberries as camp supplies, it's fine and all but...so what? For most of the game you'll be swimming in camp supplies, even with a 80 supply requirement to long rest. There's easily more than enough food in the game to long rest after every single fight. Also Phalar Aluve is part of some of the most well-known strats, like combining it with Magic Missile or Hex + Eldritch Blast (both the blasts and Hex proc the Shriek's thunder damage).
Wait a minute.... this video has multiple either vague/uninformed or straight up incorrect tips. Number 1 for starters is already missing crucial info: how to get Us - other than the act of releasing it, the narrator does not mention the MOST important part of that moment.... which is to NOT maim Us (otherwise it doesn't work and Us dies in the fall). (I'm not even going to criticize the mispronunciation of names.... bc the narrator clearly never played the game, must've been someone else.... whoever edited the footage together?)

The justiciar scimitar acts more like a short sword except it deals slashing damage, as a monk with it still gains unarmed strike as a bonus action

The infernal alloy didn't work for me in that way. Idk if it's been patched out but I only got 1 piece in return for it just last week
It seems buggy this way. My latest playthrough (Astarion), I got all three armor pieces from that alloy. My previous one (Gale), I only got the armor.
I think it might be clicking too fast that consumes it. I made Astarion back out of the conversation and repeat the alloy option and that way I didn't have to use up any iron, just the one alloy piece.
You gotta use 3 pieces now to get all three armor
I feel like ive played this whole game wrong i took put the goblin camp with my own people never even saw their big battle. Then i took the tower down with my people had no idea you could storm it with the harpers 😂
It's not "wrong" or "right," just how your game went. That's what makes it interesting, the variety of possible events that can happen. Some people did everything by the book. Some people accidentally aggroed the Druids and ended up getting all the tieflings killed at the Grove. And everyone hit Quick Load.
@AirLancer ironically I have a game I'm playing with my sister we came back from the creche and the druid circle was sealed off no way am I redoing like 30 hours of content guess they'll just be dead for this run. Thinking it was some kind of glitch cause minthara was still wanting to go raid em. I really whish we'd agreed just to see what happened. Oh well knocked her out and we just got her out of kethrics tower.

I'm pretty sure you also got Halsin killed too since if you go to the Creche/Act 2 without taking care of the goblins he never escapes the goblin camp, which then has major ramifications for Act 2...

Ok ive been watching a lot of bg3 tips and tricks videos across multiple creators, so i am probably getting a lot of repeats, understandable, but i'm starting to figure out things that aren't being talked about enough, like the fact that Goodberry lets you perform free full rests if you can manage to make 80 Goodberries. I have scoured youtube for anybody making a video about this, nobody seems to care about being able to perform free full rests just by making camp casters, or optimizing warding bond across party members to maximize the amount of damage you can take across your whole party and camp cast team. Things like these aren't being flaunted enough.
Or the "sword in the stone" Phalar Aluve that people seem to completely skip over, has 2 amazing buffs that do not require concentration and can be used by a party member that isn't using a melee weapon.
These are pretty much act 2 tips too, considering camp casting becomes very juicy around level 5-9.
Concerning using Goodberries as camp supplies, it's fine and all but...so what? For most of the game you'll be swimming in camp supplies, even with a 80 supply requirement to long rest. There's easily more than enough food in the game to long rest after every single fight.
Also Phalar Aluve is part of some of the most well-known strats, like combining it with Magic Missile or Hex + Eldritch Blast (both the blasts and Hex proc the Shriek's thunder damage).

Number 1 for starters is already missing crucial info: how to get Us - other than the act of releasing it, the narrator does not mention the MOST important part of that moment.... which is to NOT maim Us (otherwise it doesn't work and Us dies in the fall). (I'm not even going to criticize the mispronunciation of names.... bc the narrator clearly never played the game, must've been someone else.... whoever edited the footage together?)

I prefer shovel to intiate surprise rounds. Then while in combat if you keep moving her around and activating invisibility enemies will go to her last known to try detect presence. Sometimes they'll waste a whole turn just to do that
