Band of the Mystic Scoundrel is perfect for a Bard as Vicious Mockery is the only damage dealing Enchantment cantrip in the game, pair it with the ring of Arcane Synergy and you'll then add your Charisma modifier to the damage from your weapon attack. Added tip, combine these also with the Helmet of Arcane Acuity and the Braindrain Gloves and it will help to have Vicious Mockery pass the saving throw every turn inflicting your opponent with both damage and also disadvantage on their next attack.
@@kingofgrim4761 of course you can but Vicious Mockery being a cantrip means you won't burn through your spell slots every fight. Thats all I'm saying, play however you want.
@@heathengypsy this is true, I was just meaning as a bard you end up having about 6-8 casts of those absurdly high level spells with guaranteed success on them, as opposed to vicious mockery as a little extra damage. Play however you want though that seems fun
LITERALLY an hour ago was searching to see ifi missed your act 3 video for this series. absolutely perfect timing to watch this for my playthrough!!! tysm
I've just found a weird one for you. Act 1 make a deal with Lump the enlightened ogre, summon him to kill stuff, during the conversation afterwards where he wants paying use an alt character to take him down in turn based mode. We did this and killed him and one of the others but Fank left during the environmental turn as it still hadn't actually triggered combat. Fank appeared in our camp in act 2 asking for chicken. Likely just a bug but something fun for another video maybe
On the mirror of loss I have something to add, if you find the secret cave of shadowheart and you read the hastily written note that she wrote when she was younger you can skip the first check to understand what the mirror does, also if you approach the mirror after reading necromancy of thay you can sacrifice that memory for a direct +2 without random rolling or any checks
Hmm, that’s super interesting. I have a couple questions though. Do you remember when the secret shart cave is? Idr if I did that or not. Also, do you mean after you’ve read Nec of Thay in its entirety- meaning after you finish reading it & get dance Macabre? Or meaning after you’ve read at least some of it? Also, I’m assuming/hoping that you don’t lose anything, like Dance Macabre for example, by sacrificing that memory? Thanks for the tips!
band of mystic scoundral was amazing on my swords bard thief rogue playthrough. thief rogue grants an extra bonus action ,so I could attack 4 times with ranged slashing flourish, use my 1 bonus action to make an offhand weapon attack and my second bonus action to cast greater invisibility. with the high stealth stats my tav would be invisible pretty much the entire fight
@14:18 I found the back way to get into Ansur's lair several time before realizing you can use lightning to get in. You can find a pipe under the bridge to Wyrm's rock, send in a mage hand, then with a split party you can get through the wall. So it's the long way around but it works just fine.
I love how you discribed the effect of Staff of Cherished Necromancy and also told me, what to do after watching the video, but forgot to mention, where it can be obtained^^
RE: The Merchant in Rivington who is also an agent for Shars Temple (sells Hellrider Longbow). It is easy to interact with him as a merchant before Shadowheart speaks with him by just leaving Shadowheart out of ear shot. I actually left her at the starting point in Rivington and raced forth alone to the merchant to buy his stuff before bringing Shadowheart to speak with him. Oh and she didnt kill the Nightsong either.
An interesting thing about this merchant(didn’t finish the video yet so I don’t know if he’ll say anything) is that you can buy a ring without gem from him, and then find a corpse near the iron hand gnomes hideout with a gemstone, combine these and talk to him about it, you’ll get access to his secret stash, with a very rare cape and a very rare robe, the first time I heard about this was only about combining then and nothing happening, but when I played yesterday and got this line thought was pretty cool! Those are mage focused items so Gale was pretty happy!
I did a run with a Paladin/Bard and was surprised I did not have to steal the ring. Bard could just distract the Djinn with a question or a fart to stop him from cheating. He then still sends you to the jungle but you do not have to switch with your thief waiting in camp.
Genuine question: is this is a compilation but you think he should’ve removed some things that are duplicates, or is there wording at the end that you wanted removed? I guess I just assumed this was a compilation of all of the secrets previously made so it feels like that.

Spending 4500 to get the annointed in splendor is no problem whatsoever. Just do it and then go into the basement and in a back room their is 4 chests and one of the chests will contain everything you donated to get the buff. Steal it back and you will be cursed and then be careful because if you short rest/ or remove curse spell to remove the curse then devas appear to fight and I think it may be 2 devas per cursed character because I lost an hm save once from not being ready for 8 devas that attacked me when I stole from each chest with a different party member and short rested, I got Annihilated before I could even take a turn because I think the short rest makes you start the battle suprised where using remove curse doesn’t.

Damon trick - if you donate to him to increase his happiness with you in act 1 it carries over to act 2 and act 3. You want to hit him up after every long rest to sell things for his daily allotment of gold since you’ll get more for those items from him at max happiness than from other vendors. Basically … if you have a set of armor that sells for 100 gold to someone who isn’t happy with you and if it sells for 200 to Damon who loves you … sell it to Damon and get the gold. He gets more gold every day. Use “his” gold to shop at other stores. It’s a better use of resources than selling to people who don’t like you to get their gear. What do you think people get if they’re not looking at guides? Yeah? Only 50% of players have left act 1. Millions of people have bought the game. How many people would find most of this stuff? Hundreds of people? Thousands? The act 3 wizard tower is insane. Robbing a magic djinn in broad daylight in the middle of a crowded city? Who’s even trying that? The dragon statues that you attack with lighting … are you crazy? I read the book that’s supposed to be the clue for that. It’s absurd. Act 3 is SO convoluted. It’s not a good thing. What is even remotely like this in the earlier acts? Like … who is getting see invisibility from volo after he’s CLEARLY killing you. It’s gotta be fewer than 1 in 100 even considering that and only out of morbid curiosity. That’s still nothing like what’s going on in the act 3 mage tower. The entrance to the hag lair was pretty insane for a long time. I think a recent patch made it easier to sense the illusion with a voice line telling you to walk right through the wall.
@villefere6968 you say that language is a static thing that has never changed. That is not how transphobia was ever used, nor is it how many phobias are used. @@villefere6968yo, let’s not do “this” here- cool? This is just a RUclips video about a video game that **all of us REALLY enjoy**. Let’s leave anything that people have really strong opinions over (that aren’t directly important to the game) away from this game which is so beloved to all of us. Okay, cool? Cool 👊🙌🙏
Also there's just straight up repeated lines to pad this mid video
He's been remaking the same video for years now
Wait is this a repost
You're running low on new facts it seems. I think it's time to move onto a new video series.
Is this not an obvious compilation? It says ‘ALL’ implying it’s a compilation.
@@AH-hh4gc It also can imply all secrets in act 3. If it was a compilation it should have been in the title.
@@googgoodwah wah wah crybaby comment
@@googgood if you think he’s running low on new facts, then you recognize that he is reusing these, which is my point… It’s a compilation of the work he has already done.
@@AH-hh4gc Right. And I pointed out that it should be titled a compilation. We're on the same page friend.
You’re gross for intentionally misgendering Lucretius and Nocturne lol.
theyre both male so he used proper pronouns.
agreed, i had to do a double take to make sure i wasnt mishearing things
Casual transphobia early on. Lame
a phobia is an irrational fear, which has nothing to do with using proper terminology.
@villefere6968 you say that language is a static thing that has never changed. That is not how transphobia was ever used, nor is it how many phobias are used. Language is a changeable thing that does not abide by strict tradition. But don't worry, I understand that was not a comment in good faith and you just wanted to be transphobic and thus are easily disregarded
@@care6994Youre falling for fake marxist terminology meant to gaslight people into accepting delusional nonsense. Words have meanings, they can change over time to some degree but not deliberately overnight by academic marxists.
