Imagine surviving a train crashing in your house and you just go:
"Look what you've done to my breakfast"
Lol
I don’t care that my home has been completely destroyed, LOOK AT MY TOAST AND BUTTER! DO YOU THINK I LIKE IT SEASONED WITH DEBRIS! NO
To be fair, shock is a hell of a drug.
I am showing no sign of shock about how my house was destroyed by a tank engine or the fact that my kids and my husband could’ve DIED, no.
HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY COOKING YOU TWERP!!!!
THAT's how you assert dominance.
Percy and toby: dude you have to have your driver

I have two responses. First a memey joke
Have a 50 ton locomotive go through your wall, what do you do?
A. Call Farmers Insurance
B. Complain about Breakfast being ruined
Next, a joke that is based on a rather unfortunate nickname SR Crews gave to the LB&SCR I1s.
Wife: You wanker, you've ruined breakfast!
Thomas: Ma'am, I am an E2, not an I1, thank you very much. Pass the salt.
I'm not making this up, they really called them wankers.
"Carl! He ruined our salad!"
"Easy, Frank."
"Horrors!" cried Thomas and shut his eyes!
Crash!
Definitely one of the most iconic episodes in the whole series!
H O R R O R S !
Thomas: destroys a house
Woman: *excuse me the hell did you do to my breakfast*
Just LOOK what you've DONE to our HOUSE! Now it will need serious repairs!!
They should not have placed thier house SOO close to the railway.
@@seardadsdasd Same with the builders of the house in the real life event.

*THOMAS* HIT HIS BRAKES
So, yes, but actually no
@Joshua W56 yes
Maybe he learned how to by himself

For me the CGI series is not canon
@@trainsgod1042 no just no.
Fun Fact: Wilbert actually wrote "Thomas Comes To Breakfast" as an excuse to correct Thomas' running board and keep Thomas somewhat in line with his Stuart Reidpath model... so by the time the kids got to the final page of "Branch Line Engines" in the winter of 1961, Thomas' running board was all level as opposed to having the dip at the front (as the latter was ironically not to regulation by real world standards).
Luckily nobody was hurt but the children were dead
Yes they starved
What inspired you can’t win?
@SEVASTIAN VALDEZ Yes. A contractor's locomotive fell off a jetty at Burnham-on-sea in England or something
What inspired these stories: Thomas’s Christmas party, rusty to the rescue and Thomas and stepney (bluebell of England and stepney’s special - definitely bluebells of England), you can’t win, and trucks/rusty helps Peter-Sam?
Technically not hurt, now are they?
Thomas commits breaking and entering and other classical Thomas stories
You miserable Engine! [She scolded]
Just look what you've done to our breakfast!
Now I'll shall have to cook some more!
*[And she banged the door]*
More plaster fell
This time, it fell on Thomas. Thomas felt miserable...
Thomas: I'm sorry I ran into your house.
Stationmaster's Wife: And...
Thomas: And ruined your breakfast.
Stationmaster's Wife: You are forgiven.
Thomas: Really
Stationmaster's Wife: No, you miserable engine!
As a kid, that shot of Thomas looking all O.O after crashing through the house terrifed me, I really can't explain why. Same as the one where Duck crashes through the barbers and gets shaving foam all over him.
But it wasn't Duck's fault of course he was very brave and so were his driver and fireman they prevented a nasty accident we have Sir Topham Hatt's word for it Greetings from the UK!
Still can’t believe they needed Donald and Douglas to pull Thomas out of the house
- but to be fair, it worked
Yea I bet they could you,s Percy
They could've gotten Duck to do it. After all Thomas pulled him out of the barber shop in A Close Shave. One good turn deserves another
Stationmaster’s Wife: JUST LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE TO OUR BREAKFAST!!!
Scene: Stationmaster’s house
Wife: “Honey, what are they doing out there?”
Station master: looks out the window and see’s tank engine coming, “Son of a...”
CRASH!!!!
*you miserable engine*
Wife “YOU MISERABLE ENGINE! YOU RUINED OUR BREAKFAST! NOW I SHALL HAVE TO MAKE MORE!”
slams the door and plaster falls on Thomas
Thomas “OW, you mother...” more plaster falls on him
“Look What You Done To Are Breakfast Now I Have To Cook Some More”.
She banged the door. More plaster fell on Thomas.
Well I mean I don’t think she can if her food counter that she makes food on has been completely crushe

In the short time Thomas was moving, there's no way Thomas had time to turn around.
Now you cant unseen it now.
It cost you nothing not to say this
So this was before when the trains move themselves in magic railroad
I think the explanation is that it was a different universe from our own. Tbh I always though they moved on their own since unless the script says it they are forgettable
@@memeking7273 yea me too it’s talking trains so it’s possible that they can move by themselves instead of people doing it
@@lordbrickmasterproductions3531 Victor Tanzig's series "Stories of Sodor" have it were not only can they move on their own, but can also light their fires at will. They only have crews in their cabs to keep them from overextending themselves
@@lordbrickmasterproductions3531 true hell I'm watching Victor tanzing (too lazy to spell check) in his stories the trains can actually move on their own the drivers and fireman are just there to make sure they don't overwork themselves
@@memeking7273 exactly and even though magic railroad isn’t the greatest it isn’t bad like the trains moving by themselves is a smart idea tbh and yes I also see his videos his shorts are funny

Are you serious ? Thomas didn't want breakfast he wanted independence. Them eating breakfast just happened to be the place the rail lead to. And who won't be angry at having their breakfast ruined and house destroyed in the morning ? Especially when you have to go to work. Where do you suppose they slept after that ?
@@storiesfromdifferenteras I think you don't get the joke here
I clicked on this expecting a cheesy creepy pasta. Honestly I don't mind being wrong. The way you presenting this was really sweet. Love your enthusiasm.
Thomas: Wassup, can a Loc come in yo crib?
Also Papa TrainBoy do a video where you guess the engines of the show with only the sound of their whistles. You can find videos of all the whistles from the series on RUclips, so just put on a blindfold or smthng.
Stationmaster: Man fuck you I’ll see you at work
Maybe if you get rid of that old yee yee ass funnel, you'd get some b*tches on your buffers.
GOOD ENDING: Thomas comes up in his crib
It's funny, the stationmaster's wife, only cares about her breakfast when her freakin house is broken
You can fix a house, you can't fix a good breakfast
But u can remake it
@@panda1833 yes but you still put tons of effort into the last one and now you have to do it all over again, it would make anyone angry.
It's actually insane how close this got to the original story! I wasn't expecting that lol
The engine looks a lot like a E2
nice TrainBoy, also when I saw the episode awhile back I was like "GOD DAMN IT THOMAS" in my mind
As MajorEnginesStudios and Joey Turner had pointed out, the wife doesn't really seem to have her priorities straight. A train was THIS CLOSE to running over her children!!
The Billinton 0-6-2T continued a long working life, as the Southern Region weren't bothered about replacing old tank engines. The engine was later broken up, now numbered 32166. The class, known as the E3, has no remaining members, as all were sadly scrapped.
Actually it's a E3 not E4
This episode is right after the Scottish twins story arc. So having them save thomas finally makes sense
They Laughed and left him to die.
My God I love this series keep up the good work man
Another masterpiece good job my boy
now this is the kind of stuff that makes me wanna see more! Good video dude!

Woo hoo! I've been dying for a new one of these!
Man this takes me back a loooooong way
OMG! I really enjoyed this video! Thomas comes to breakfast is one of my favourite season 2 episode!
*Thomas became their breakfast instead*
They would break their teeth 😂
AH!- *TO BE CONTINUED*
I can’t wait to hear the real story of Old Iron, you know it’s gotta be interesting on how someone basically lassoed a locomotive at high speed.
That Stationmaster's family must be filthy fucking rich if a ruined breakfast is worse than a train plowing into your house...
It may have been a mix between this and an event in Peterborough. I also heard Duncan Gets Spooked was a real event.
This has to be the best one yet
Ah I’ve waited for this. And I’m not disappointed
YAY I suggested this! It's my favourite episode 🥰
To this very day, the face that Thomas has when he crashes into the house terrifies me. For months, I was afraid of showering out of fear that a sentient steam locomotive would crash through the rear wall of my parent’s house (even though I live nowhere near train tracks). I would safely say that this episode scarred me.
The reaction of the wife is hilarious for so many reasons. It's not just that she's angry their breakfast of all things was ruined (I mean, forget the house), but also that she now has to cook more, which she then immediately goes to do ... all the while a steam engine is sticking out of the house and half the dining room is gone.
Family still has to eat I guess.
YES Thank you for this videoooo
I imagine the engine that got into the accident was Thomas's cousin
Impossible
Only one way to figure dat out, tank engine dna test
This episode is my favorite from the classic Thomas and friends series it really stuck out to me as a little kid

I’d love to see if old iron or one of the Duke episodes have any lore behind them.
The fate of Smudger or Stanley from Granpuff is based on what happened to the Ffestiniog's Palmerston. Management turned it into a stationary boiler when it could no longer pull trains
@@evanclarke5561 What inspired you can't win?
That has really surprised me I hope you keep doing these type of videos they are really interesting
it actually kind of makes sense that the wife wasn't too concerned about the house, during this period, railway staff (particularly station masters and signalman) were usually provided with a railway cottage by the company, which would be located next to the station (a small rent was taken out of their wages), this was primarly so that these staff would be 'on call' 24/7... as such all the repairs would be dealt with by the company, you can tell this is a railway cottage by the way it matches the 2 buildings next to it... such cottages are very common, and many still exist (all be it no longer owned by the railway)
With TATMR and series 25-26, let’s vote to Mattel to revel that these engines can have automatic controls, ambit still become runaway if the autos are off.
Reminds me of a event in Gladstone NJ. A Lackawanna MU car went through the end of track into the kitchen of a house just after the tracks. Thankfully everyone was in the dinning room at the time and they were waiting on something in the stove which well ended up having a iron and sandy taste once the wheels stopped on-top of it.
I really like the idea of this series that you do, you really do a lot of investigating and getting facts straight. I also like that you have a few different little series on your channel, from modeling, to factual videos like these, and just talking videos. I remember only a few months ago you had just a couple subs, now look at you!
I was curious however - do you still have the O gauge locos you made videos of some time back? The O gauge community really needs someone with your chilled, laid back style of editing to get more people interested. When it comes to O gauge Thomas, you throwing your own spin on that would be nice to see because as far as I'm aware, there's like one or two people who focus on lionel thomas engines in the community.
Anyways, brilliant work!
Good story! I love hearing about all of the real accidents
Also Lakey Inspired music... good man!
Fun fact - when I was 5, Thomas comes to breakfast scarred me because I lived near a train station and nightmares of a train into my house. I was scared until I was 10
In the Railway Series story of which this episode is based on, Thomas crashed into the stationmaster's house as a result of a siding ending on the road having no buffers to stop him, causing him to run off the rails and onto the road until he reached the house. This was not done in this adaptation due to the models heavily being powered by track, so the rails had to be led to the stationmaster's house.
However, the Ladybird and Buzz Book adaptations of this episode uses the original Railway Series dialogue.
My favorite episode!
Who else went straight to the comment section to see how many people would talk about the “look what you’ve done to our breakfast” remix?
👇
I actually love these True stories.
Questions: Did Trust Thomas ever happen?
Edit: What does the Japanese text mean?
It’s TrainBoy in kanji! :) & shoot man I’ll have to look into that! With it being such an iconic accident I imagine there’s some sort of inspiration
in the intro? 電車の少年? 電車 means train 少年 means young-boy and the の is possessive, like an " 's " in english. So "young boy of trains". Close-enough to TrainBoy. And at least looks better than 電車の男の子 which is more accurately Train Boy.
@@bradley4615 Ah shoot, well at least it still works! 😂 I myself don’t really know the language as much yet and had a friend who CLAIMED to be fluent type it out. Thankfully it’s still pretty close though!
@@ItsTrainBoy ya know YoungBoyOfTrains isn’t so bad just maybe instead it could be BoyOfTrains or ManOfTrains
@@CocoCoast True there man! That and “Train-Man” sounds kinda tacky to me.. I dunno why. 😂
Nice to know the backstory of my very first Thomas episode, man this episode is great.
Dude thanks i like this episodie
Man, while watching a bunch of TrainBoy vids while in a winter storm emergency I was going to say something about doing a video about the Tugs and what do I see in my top recommended before I type anything: "What Ever Happened To Tugs? Not sure if that was good luck or the RUclips algorithm has me down so perfect it's scary it's giving me results before I think to ask them.
a careless engine cleaner had messed with Thomas's controls in his cab which resulted in him coming to breakfast
The face Thomas makes when he busted through the house has for some reason always gave me nightmares 😂
My requests: Saved from scrap, 4 little engines (both skarloey remembers and old faithful), Percy and the signal, duck takes charge, Percy and Harold, Gordon goes foreign, Thomas and the special letter, pop goes the diesel, diesels devious deed, a close shave for duck, rusty helps Peter-Sam, home at last, rock n roll, hullo twins, the missing coach, daisy, special funnel, passengers and polish, the gallant old engine, rusty to the rescue and Thomas and stepney (bluebells of England and stepenys special - definitely bluebells of England), the VERY OLD ENGINES stories, the diseasel, tender engines (tenders for Henry), escape (and little western), toad stands by, you can’t win, percys ghostly trick, wooly bear, and mavis.
This is a great and ironically similar video. I am now thinking of making a Bachmann Thomas coms to breakfast Thomas.
Train boy I'm a new fan of u
Now THAT'S genuinely funny! Someone definingly had something to say about interrupted breakfast after that.
That face of Thomas when he’d crashed and had the bush on his face terrified me as a kid
When sodor fallout stuff gunna be out and great video
I loved that episode, Percy crashing into chocolate factory and James crashing into tar tanker. Those r my 3 fav from the classic
I made a diorama of this in oo scale (1/76) using a hornby thomas (for realism) and a damaged war time house kit and some fake bushes and grass.
The Large Scale Thomas Prop Scares Me...
The Ringo Starr version of Thomas comes to Breakfast was and still is one of my favorite episodes. The difference between Ringo’s rendition and George’s is when Thomas is talking from behind the bush, the narrator says his voice is muffled. Ringo actually muffled his voice during that part, George didn’t. I also think Ringo did a better Donald and Douglas.
I have twin boys now and we all watch original Thomas and play on my huge old brio sets/Thomas wooden railway sets together. I literally have other 600 pieces in that collection. You get to relive your childhoods again. It’s great.
I genuinely find it incredible that Awdry could turn an rail event in the U.K. into a story that works, especially the Modernisation Plan and the Beeching Reports in the background. It’s a true skill.

nice logo!
Very interesting cool video
Definitely the best basis.
I hope the stationmaster has home insurance.
When I was little, I didn’t think much of this episode. Just liking the crash sequence but, after rewatching this as a 19 year old, I feel bad for Thomas. STH, Percy and Toby were a little harsh here. Don’t get me wrong, Thomas was cheeky about thinking he doesn’t need a driver but, experiences something traumatic. It’s not like he intentionally tried to cause harm but, STH scolds Thomas for something that was out of his control. And, I didn’t appreciate the fact that Percy and Toby were smiling when Thomas had gone through something that could’ve caused serious injuries to people (If this wasn’t a kid’s show) but, this is just a nitpick. I don’t hate this episode in any ways, it’s very comedic but, when you take away the children tv show aspect and compare to something that can happen in real life, you’d get a minor sense of annoyance.
yes
Idk if any photos or videos are available of it but I think it’d be an interesting video if you did one showing the actual model railway that the original show was filmed on
thomas leaving without his driver reminds me of a bad reboot happening soon
Have u ever thought about dropping merch? I would definitely buy some if u did
The truth is, all of Wibert Awdry's stories actually happened. I remember reading the real story database online.
Thomas came to my breakfast too! I had some Thomas minis jump onto my breakfast plate lol
Why is everyone saying that the woman cares more abt her breakfast than her house? We all know you’d be like that as well.
Damn right
I don't know. Thomas could've either hurt or killed someone even if he crashed accidentally. Nonetheless I don't know whether trains get tried for manslaughter
I did a bit more digging as to which locomotive was envolved and turns out the engine was an LBSCR E3 named Cliftonville
My body: go to sleep
