That is the fun of the 5.4l tritan motors. Heads are line bored for cams, so new cams mean new Heads. They are so expensive to maintain, but run wonderful when all is well. Also this video is a great example of why shops will only do motor replacement instead of a timing job. Check those lash adjusters too.

The correct fix for the 5.4 phaser issue is to swap a 4.6 into it lol

That motor should be taken out and clean every port out. I bet there are pieces stuck everywhere
