All this talk of sedation and my doctor just said he’s numbing me and I can drive myself home 😭
What if you don't know anyone over 18 to be at the surgery? Family is in another state and as an introvert, I usually avoid people except when necessary.
What good is taking medication when you can't hold it down and all you want to do is vomit all day???
My stomach has no tolerance for any kind of serious pain pills! None. OMG...

I'm just doing a local. Why sedation?
Being sedated you will be asleep or awake but out of it. So you won’t feel anything and probably won’t even remember having it done. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I was asleep and didn’t remember the surgery at all. This was in 1992. I just had all my teeth pulled. So I can eventually get dentures. I was awake and remember everything. If you aren’t anxious about the procedure. You will be fine. They will numb you and you won’t feel anything. I didn’t feel anything.
I take very good care of my teeth but my dentist just found a microscopic crack on tooth 29 and she recommended a crown...which her office doesn't do. What is the next step? A second opinion or just call a prosthodontist and ask for a crown?
