Awesome spot up there. I took my family up there in 2004 and flew into the horizontal falls in a seaplane. Stayed overnight in Talbot bay aboard Mimi McPhersons old whale watching boat. One of the best experiences I’ve done. Kids were only 2 &3 so don’t remember it but I’ll never forget. So jealous of you doing it in your own boat. Well done guys
Such a great ep, & wonderful footage for people of the "falls". The collective use of your catch, using the tuna for pickling, reuse of materials & being minimalist is really interesting. The things you're showing us, teaching us & having it bundled into some fun is wonderful. All the best to you both 🎣💪✌❤

Hi Strick and Fran, What a great episode including the turtle in a fabulous setting. Reminds me of a Women's Weekly received in the Netherlands during the 1950 featuring the GBR in full colour focussing on turtles, beaches ( and the bloody good life in Australia)which was sent by my oldest brother then living in Aus.
LOL those falls remind me of travelling through the Old Fremantle traffic Bridge on a big tide as it develops rapids! Awesome footage, epic spot!
