If it's a tender project, yes. But if it's for contractual work for the government, invoices can take 2-3 months to be settled by the governement entity.

Is ignorance. I am sure he never even googled a simple episode of dragons den. If you can watch 2 or 3 episodes you can definitely know questions asked n prepare for them. These guys ask same questions over n over
Never come without knowing your:
1) Projections (future turn over)
2) Market Size (how many ppl need your product/service out there)
3) Current n past Revenue(turn over), Profit n Net Profit
4) What makes your product/services unique
You can't make an excuse for such questions shame. Not possible.
