With Fred Basten signed up, you cannot go wrong. His Factor book is really, really something special. Visit the Factor Museum if you are in Hollywood someday.

Helen Gurley Brown SMH I’m glad she found Max Factor pancake makeup. However, for this feature, there needed to be a make up artist to do a full facial make up for the cameras, IHMO

Wait what?! Makeup apprentice at 6??

Apprenticeship was the way a trade was learned back in the day. Often it was arranged by the one giving the apprenticeship to the parents. Six years old might seem young. Apparently, if someone was willing to train a child, the parents accepted. Very often this was because it meant one less mouth to feed (from a practical standpoint)

So does anyone else notice they used a small clip of Marilyn Monroes funeral crypt when they talked about Max Factors death?
