aaaaa i just got my barebone 5075s as a gift from my relatives but i completely forgot to order switches and keycaps and all the keeb goodies before they left 🧎🏻♀️ and i don’t have any money so now i just have an unopened barebone keyboard sitting in the corner of my room
such a pretty pretty keyboard 😭 and i love ur angle in this, the lighting tooo~ very relaxing moddingg session as alwayss from rainyy! very informative yet still quick, makes it not boring to watch. akko black and pink hiragana looks perfect here too omgg 😭🫶🏻one thing tho, try taking out the silicone case dampening and replace it with polyfil or something >__< anyhow, modded with ktt peaches sounded great!!
Got the 5075b plus but the polling rate/ latency wasn't as expected so I returned it. Hopefully the q1 v2 doesn't have that issue. Such nice keeb tho. Great job on the modifications. 🤩

I've finally found a MUCH better, easier and faster way of opening the board, RISK FREE and without hurting you. if you have a protractor You can you it and try to put it in the gap and then without taking it off you can spin it to get to the other thingies and easily disassemble the keyboard. I please share as much as you can bc I have never seen anybody saying nothing about this method.

I find it pretty hard to open up this keyboard. I’m worried the plastic will break. Also, I’m new to modding and this is the first board I got myself to try. Mine is the Dracula version. I’m just supposed to put 2-3 layers of tape at the bottom of the pcb right? Was the other silicon foam optional for a softer calm sound? Thank you in advance! Also, great informative video!
oh broooo, YEP this board was really hard to open for me. mostly because i was anxious that i would keep scratching the board itself. but i think it really is inevitable T^T welcome to the club!! hihi u can put 2-3 layers at the bottom of the pcb yes :> the silicone produced a more muted sound if that’s what you’re into. i personally like louder sounds! hihi. happy modding!!!

hai haiiii! personally, i think its a good board overall. with the stock build including silicone dampener, poron switch pad*, really good rgb too if youre into thattt :> but i do have to say that there are also more budget options out there like maybe the next time 75, or lychee g80 pro, the thing that keeps me from recommending this board is really the fact that it is sooooo hard to open and close. but if you can look past that its still a really goodboard nonetheless :>
@@rainykeyboard All good. I'd get the 5075S on my next board. I have the 75B Plus and the lighting is all over the place. The 75S have those minimal lighting strip which I like. Thanks!
for the akko 5075s, it's also a very good keyboard :> it's more on the high end side of the hobby but it will last you a very long time as well. its also gasket mounted and has a more muted sound signature :> whatever suits your preference :>

@@rainykeyboard mine has already arrived today, but i got a prolem that my side led have different directions, the side led on the left of the kkeyboard flows downward, but the led on the right side of the keyboard flows from the middle to twoside (half goes upward, half goes downward). It annoys me so much. Do you know how to fix it ?

i just build this board for a client with a limited budget and it turned out pretty great. little bit of a pain to open up tho
yeahhh its def a good board, opening it up was annoying the first time. but after you opened it up once it's a lot easier to open the next time hehe

when installing the PE foam, did you remove the silicone plate foam and poron switch pad or leave all stock internals in addition to the PE?

hiii :3 the switch pad material was silicone so it tends to mute the sound a little :P and i just really don’t ever want a muted keeb HAHAHAHAHAHA

i personally don’t trust that kind of pe foam. i would rather use the think kind and be sure that my pcb is safe hehe

It's a set designed and manufactured by Akko, "black pink" I also do believe they are in an asa profile as well.
