I think it’s important to remember that yes things are more experience here but that would be comparing it to a UK wage whereas our pay is general better so it does balance out! Loving the Aus vlogs, so nice to see you settled in Melbourne xx

If your clothes have been sitting in the dryer for a while (after drying finishes) turn the dryer on to heat them up for abt 10 minutes. Then take them out and fold while still warm
Press your hand along them, like it is an iron
That should prevent wrinkling on most garments. I am extremely fussy about wrinkled clothing and this works for me
Only exception would be button down type work shirts. Those are the only ones I still iron (or would if I owned any anymore😂) 👍

Taking a t-shirt (or any other item of clothing) by the end and shaking it out with a couple of hard and quick downward movements of your arms after they've come out of the washing machine is enough to make most items crease-free! Then just hang them up carefully aaand voilà
My brother lives in St kilda, would recommend popping to their town (can't remember what it's called) small but looks like a film set!

Luddites the both of you! 🤣🤣 Just kidding - I love red wine and I like to think that (aside from bubbly, like champagne/prosecco/cava) red wines are the more refined tastes. I drink red even in the hotter climates like México - I'd rather drink cheap reds on ice than a white wine. I don't know how much sideeye I get from that but whatevs :)
Anyway, so jealous - I love shiraz especially and wine country, no matter where, is always great for the views and scenery! You've packed a lot (pun intended) into the time that you've been without wage-earning work!
In the future, horse racing season (I can't think of Australia without thinking of horse racing - the 2004 Australia Cup was prpbably the most dramatic finish in world history) is fast approaching and you are in the capital at Flemington Race Course. I don't expect that you would visit there but I'm fairly certain that you'll hear of it during your stay.
As someone who lives in an apartment block can I please recommend that you flatten or break down all your boxes before putting them down the chute? Otherwise they get stuck and block the chute!

I honestly never heard that anyone would iron their bedding 😂 Don't know if it's just the thing where I live but I don't think most people irons anything here that's not a proper business shirt or blouse, if you hang normal shirts straight after some time in the drier they'll dry evenly already 🤔😊
