This multiplayer was very fun
If it were for the new generation, I'm sure the game would attract a large number of players.

What pisses me off is that this game wasn't as popular as the other installments. So it's most likely we're never going to get a God of war multiplayer ever again. Not like this. The closest game I could ever find was For Honor multiplayer. I wish Santa Monica remade God Of War 2005 and included the multiplayer, with better mechanics, and better graphics.
@Lexx_Xander The reception of this game sealed the fate of the old GoW games. Fortunately for us, at least it was not the end.
Story wise, Kratos has also been redeemed from his past and Yada Yada Yada, and I love Krato's new portrayal, but I think it's a bit weird that after GOW 4 and 5, they'll go back to angry vengeful Kratos. I don't know what to think or how to feel. I guess I'll just enjoy the classics for what they are, and every once in a while, I watch some GoW multiplayer on RUclips, reliving the nostalgia.
I never thought of the idea of a multi-player God of war yet here we are

Its was the combos especially the hammer combos specifically Hades war hammer and hands down this game kept true multiplayer team players together every day I waa a day one player I stayed on the weekly ranks I honestly missed this game and yes its still number one

I remember grinding this multiplayer and making friends online it was addicting! What was really cool was that the game legit had fighting mechanics youd expect in traditional fighting games like combos, weapon tech, cancels, air juggles, resets, etc. It could get really competitive but became really toxic. I remember fighting against "top 50" players and seeing them post their fights on youtube lol it was fun.
It was also badass when you play 4v4 and everyone would just moshpit. They need to revive this

It seems that there were plans of adding another god, because of the stairs next to Poseidon's.

According to the development of online it was suppose to be a DLC character you could align with. I have seen its model, it was a male character with Shield and some sort of staff. The wiki says it was likely Helios but I don't understand how it could benefit the play. We already have Ares that is fire based and Zeus lighting based. So if it was Helios then I'm not sure what power he would have given us. The character personally to me looked more like Perseus model but his powers would be even more of a mystery.

I fucking loved this multiplayer but I came out with arguably the worst game in the franchise and thus was doomed to fail. I wish they’re give this another go, it was extremely fun and the concept was so bad ass, choosing with god to become a champion for 👌🏽

This should be remastered as a free to play title for PS4/5/PC. PlayStation could use it to add to their lineup until the heavy hitters are ready. Alternatively, I'd like this style of gameplay for a PlayStation All Stars 2.

Sadly, last year my PS3 motherboraed damaged, which is why I am not creating online multiplayer game modifications or cheats.It costs about $80, and I don't have enough cash to fix it. I recently bought a PS3 from a friend, but I'll return it after two or three days because it takes a while to obtain cheat codes-at least ten to fifteen days.

GoW Multiplayer is basically a ghost town. Good luck finding players. It would have been worth it, if leveling up wasn't as tedious as it is.

Yes it works i tested it. But its not possible to buy the xp boost anymore. So i only get lobbys with very high leveled players. So my chances to win are not very high cause in this game we know the higher ur lvl the crazier ur weapons and armor. Thats sad.🥹 But it does make fun anyways
