We don’t need submarines right now. Too expensive to buy and operate. Kailangan natin marami kamikaze submarine drones. Sa dami ng PLA ship, China Navy, CCG ng China di tayo mananalo. Isang submarine siguro ay katumbas na ng libo libo kamikaze drone submarines. Katulad ng Ukraine puro drone ang ginagamit.

MDT of US and other allied nations is not guarantees to help Philippines in case trouble started in WPS even in Philippine politicians didn't support Philippine government budget plan regarding procurement of AFP almost all members of the house of representative in 2025 only 1/4 of proposed budget was approved this budget enough only for salary to all AFP members even maintenance to assets to run is questionable.

You are very right. Philippines has been spending less than 1% of GDP on defence for many years. The current expansion of the PCG has been largely at the largesse of Japan, US and Australia through funding, donation of equipment like ships, free training, or soft loans with close to 0 interest to fund new ships. The Philippines government has accepted over US$1 billion worth of military aid and equipment over the past decade. Most of the PCG fleet has been gifted by the Japanese & Americans or subsidised and financed by very soft loans.
Philippines has to pay back the soft loans, expand its PCG and naval manpower, fund increased volume and tempo of operations and main the new equipment. This
Filipinos need to realise that and also how ridiculous they look to others. A beggar happily accepting free and subsidised military equipment, then realising how much it costs to maintain and refusing to stand on their own 2 feet by shouting about mutual defence agreements.
The very least Filipinos can do is increase the military & PCG budget by a factor of 3-4 (2-3% of GDP); and prepare to fight for their own territorial ambitions. Western blood is too expensive to shed for Filipino blood. Filipinos need to man up and fight their own fight. Tax payers in the West and Japan are not going to give like that forever.
