My understanding is that the Bird opening is basically the Dutch for white. That is why a lot of GMs who play one also play the other as the ideas and tactics overlap a lot (Simon Williams, GM Raven, etc). So playing the 'mainline' variation reversed against it is best (fianchetto kingside and pawns on d5 and e5). If you don't know the mainline against the Dutch might be worth reading up as sure you will start getting it a lot more as you get closer to 2000 and will also help against the occasional Bird. Simon Williams has lots of stuff on it on the free Chessable course.
