Great explanations! I'm happy the tendency to pick up dust is gone. I was worried it would look too 'Samsonite-y' or 'Tumi-y' in real life when I heard "ballistic". But now I'm no longer worried.
I had no idea this was even being considered and I have thought so many times I should email EG to put a vote in for flipping the orientation. I have longed to give this bag a shot but the right-handed-centric aspect was a deal breaker. No longer the case - I just ordered both the CPL 24 and 28 MIRRORs. As a lefty, I have always kept backpacks on my right shoulder (when not on both) which frees my strong hand up to sign a receipt, open a door, grab a passport, etc, and this has in turn led to me not even being able to keep a bag on my left shoulder without contorting my body to keep the bag from slipping off. Thank you EG for doing this run that invites the 10-12% of lefties in the world (and others who right-shoulder carry) to enjoy this bag to the max!
I already own the first two versions of the CPL24. The v2 features were just barely enough for me to justify the purchase over the v1. These changes are not enough for me to justify a 3rd purchase. I'm happy to see you guys on the continuous improvement path but I would have to be a new customer at this point to open my wallet. Unless I needed/wanted the 28. Which I might... 😀. Either way, nice work guys, keep doing your thing. You make wonderful products.
would love to see a way to add water bottle carry. This feature seams to get cut (pun intended) from smaller bags especially brief bags and bottle capacity typically never accommodates 1L vacuum bottles on smaller bags despite there being good solutions for varying bottle sizes
Any chance you'll add a side pocket for water bottle holder? Noticed it on the CPL35, would love it on the CPL24. That would be enough to make me upgrade my CPL24 v2
@@riahaidan I used to think this but the CPL series are just not deep enough. If you look at the CTB26 colab they did with carryology, the pack is noticeably deeper, which goes against the silhouette of the CPL line. I’d hate to give up the sleek CPL aesthetics. They have the CHZ with the external pockets as it’s a half zip which wouldn’t get in the way of the pockets.
If this bag wasn‘t so bloody expensive to Import to Germany (Price + Shipping + 19% tax)… Evergoods should start selling more to european distributers.
Hi Jack and Kevin, for this new version, what would you all recommend for a right handed dominant individual who also is right shoulder dominant when carrying backpacks? The mirrored? Or traditional CPL? Thank you!
I think you are answering this for yourself already. It’s all about what shoulder you want to use. To be honest, our standard version is right handed in our onion. Drop from left shoulder and access with your dominant hand. But, some folks juts gotta have them some right shoulder action. Sounds like that is you!
CPL28 Mirror ordered! Thank you for offering a mirror version!!
Damn!!! This is so exciting!! Once i get a chance id love to get the new version of the CPL!!!
Finally! This left-hander thanks you. Ordered.
My wallet hates you guys 😂
Very excited to see these new updates to the CPL backpacks!
Really would like to see a 30L version of the CTB for one bag travel.

new backpanel looks great, waiting for a CHZ update before placing another order ;)
Long wait for ya:)
😭 dang well thanks for being frank about it!
dream pack from y'all would be CHZ26 with the new backpanel and the PLC laptop carry
@@evergoods_ so that was a lie:)

Not in the works and not something we have ever planned on offering for the CPl24, CPL28. Maybe a smaller CTB one day but not sure.
@@evergoods_ May I ask why? Also, why did you not include a luggage pass through for those who use the bag for air travel? Just curious. Thanks.

can I please ask which would be a better EDC between CPL28 and CTB26?
I would go CPL28 myself. However the CTB26 is also a great option for a daily bag. I just like the layout of the CPL bags for day in and day out use.

We’ve got serval stores in Europe. Mukama, and KEUS to name a couple.
@@evergoods_ Thanks for the reply! Hope they‘ll get the new model soon :)
19% tax 😳
@@evergoods_ hey, are Mukama and KEUS getting the updated CPLs soon? Will there be mirrored versions available in Europe?
Mikhail Surovikov Mukama has them I think. They don’t have the mirror version.

Thank you! One more question, is the weight different from this new CPL line versus the traditional?
But is it solution dyed, Kevin?
