⚠UPDATE: ChatGPT rebranded Code Interpreter as "Advanced Data Analysis." There is NO difference in the functionality with the rebrand; so I feel this video is still relevant! P.S. This is only a Beta... It's only going to get better from here 😳
The beautiful thing about this video is that you're learning to prompt better and better each time, hence for future projects it will be less time needed.
Thanks luke! It's reassuring to see that ChatGPT is being used as a tool for data analytics rather than replacing us. Also, a big thanks for the reply a month ago, which clarified the functionality of the code interpreter. Keep it up!
we don’t know how long is that soon but yes eventually but not only data analyst code be front end and backend too if it can alr generate that good of code my opinion that ai will take over this and swe will think of a higher way like how to prompting it effectively and be more creative and improving the model fine tune etc
How do you navigate the dilemma of uploading your company's data to a third party website? I find myself having to provide samples of dummy data following the same format, and then use the same analysis it used seperately myself.
i mean eda is easy enough and can be performed with a couple of clicks in any BI system, it would be nice to see how you can create business value using this aka actionable insights
Thank you for an interesting video. I see there are notable synergies with ChatGPT and other external tools. I presume that Code Interpreter is better for a complete data analysis of a smaller data set when you do not care for version control. While Noteable plug-in is better for larger data sets and more precise version control and its other capabilities are somewhat limited.
Super Awesome. Your video production skills are getting so good. I think that you might want to create a video called “RUclips data storytelling by a Data Nerd ”. While I wish deeper dives into the code, the overall video was engaging and covered a broad number of topics related to Data CoPiloting. Thanks 🎉
Hey Luke! From what you've seen, do you think they'll keep improving this tool? Also, quick consultation: Think a company would take me if I tell them I know R but have no job experience, but I'm willing to work for free as a remote part-timer?
Oh yeah. I’m sure they will. This is probably the worse version we’ll see. Regarding the role. Im all for volunteering and part time gigs to gain experience. If you think it’ll lead to income eventually may be worth a shot. But I’d also keep looking for other paid opportunities
Wow besides the prompting and plug ins this is so cool to mess with. This could be a time saver once it gets better ! Can’t wait to see a video of you using this to make a cool project.
I tried ChatGPT with code in a language I was unfamiliar with. It gave me the same code. I don't think it was right and I couldn't correct it because neither of us know!
I wanna have it analyte my whatsapp adhd med logs over years with dosages and life journal to find the best psychiatric medication finetuned dosages. But as you said its annoying with the memory/non autonomous modes but its absolutely capable if i where to put enought time. Really nice to see your perspective and tipp to use notable like i was in the beginning. Curious to know how you judge it in 1 month meaning around 1.10.2023 and 1.11.2023 maybe it will be better by then. 🤓✌️🔬😊
only hope i have is code llama 2 will be as usefull, european data laws make the use of gpt not viable for work, also i just dont want them to have all the data
OH definitely! From the data i've seen, I think this field of analytics is only going to grow with better tools like this that help us accomplish our job!
Just make sure you learn to do it in sql as that’ll open doors to other related jobs like analytics engineering which is basically doing the tech work and leaving the actual analysis to someone else :). In my case I find analysis more interesting if I’m the one making the decisions so it got old real fast.
Bard prompt answer : Bard can write Python code. In fact, Bard can write code in over 20 programming languages, including Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Bard can generate code for a variety of tasks, such as: Calculating mathematical expressions Sorting and searching data Manipulating strings Generating random numbers Creating functions and classes Writing loops and conditional statements Yes, it is possible that Bard will be able to be your data scientist and data analyst in the future. As a large language model, Bard is constantly learning and evolving. It is already able to perform many tasks that are typically done by data scientists and data analysts, such as cleaning data, writing SQL queries, and generating reports.
I genuinely think that most of these auto-analytic solutions are a sales ploy targeting anyone too scared of anything from excel to code to BI... math, statistics, etc. It's so much better using them to explain the process, illustrate with examples, maybe correct some formula or function, "brainstorming".
I def can agree with this for some tools... and i've seen many that you've described that do this with their marketing... but I dunno; this tool is a lot different and it actually can do some pretty advanced things
Noteable only provides 4GB ram version for free and the upgradable version costs a whopping 30 usd! I run long codes so Noteable is not an option for me
Hey Luke, I need some advice, I studied for a year in a data management course, in it I prepared for the Data+ Certification and earned it. I studied SQL in the year and looked into Power BI from RUclips tutorials; Recently started looking into Python on Kaggle The problem I have is all the SQL work I did was contained. Trying to find an internship to get that experience but I'm struggling. I have ADHD and have trouble learning things, retaining the information. Could you suggest an idea for me to progress? I really want to break into the market badly and start getting actual experience... It's upsetting that I can't find anything. I'm from South Africa and they always ask for 3-5yr experience. Pls Luke, help me
If you can’t find anything like an internship then I’d start building your own project to gain experience. I demonstrated this in one of my videos earlier this year on how I analyzed data jobs. Learn some skills and then apply them in a project your interested. I can’t tell you what to make the project on. It’s really up to you and your skills and interest. Get creative

I would ne shared that chatGPT (knows for bad in Numbers) will jist simply generate here and there random Numbers especially while fine tuning the graphs with multiple prompts (usually it start to make up numbers after 5-10 prompts) 😂
Chat GPT will release data all over the world. Before using it you should know, How important is the data itself. He just told you, was sponsored by Ai intelligent. If you upload the data the guys behind the chat will take your boss business and your job.
All of the issues you show can be dealt with by making proper prompts. And no, two lines of text is not a proper prompt. Write clear, unambiguous instructions, with examples, using domain specific terms. You need to be an expert in the field you are building prompts for, do not expect it to just magically know what you think.
It is just matter of time....😐 ai definitely will replace data related jobs...guys luke want to earn as much as possible by selling these data analyst bullshits....and he know very well ai will conquer this field in near future until then he is doing his best by selling or making videos this kind of videos...
