First and foremost, Happy Mother's Day to all! Secondly, did..did we just sweep the defending champions!? Oh yeah, baby!! It was interesting to see Ty Blach get the start today, but it all worked out and he got a 5 good innings in. Zeke (can I call Tovar Zeke?) got a 2 run bomb, and this was just a solid win. Such an improvement from all the solid losses haha. I'll keep saying sell the team, it just needs to happen...but let's look up and keep it going, this has been awesome. Heads up California, we'll be there until May 23rd!! Starting up with divisional foes in San Diego, let's bring it! Go Rockies💜🖤

For all the Ms fans whining about a loss to the Athletics, be glad we didn't get swept like the Rangers did against the Rockies. This should be more than enough proof that in baseball being the best team on paper doesn't guarantee a win.

Also what big guns? Scherzer is dealing with a nerve issue right now and it sounds like he might be shut down for the rest of the year. deGrom isn't expected to be back before August at the earliest.
