What great insights and I cant thank you enough for taking the time to record this. I totally agree with you on not chasing money, I did that for years what with work, etc and nearly killed myself in the process what with stress, etc. Now I focus on the things that really matter and that enrich your life and soul. Great tour of the peaks too and wishing you the best of luck in the comp. Also i've just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to future videos from you. Wishing you and your family a blessed week my good man ~Peace~
I couldn't find much to argue against in what you said... not much at all... Infact scary how much I agreed with vast majority of it. When I did mine I ended up thinking it could grow to 33 life-lessons... Enjoyed it. atb... and subbed.
I enjoyed that mike. very thoughtful. Your right about money Iv'e often thought about it just going round and round passing through all those hands, for what? As for the extremism of religions, its a tough one for me as I am a Pastor of a church. I wasn't always a Christian, I was and to a point still am a man of many faults. My faith is of course in Jesus. What worries me is I can see a time coming very shortly when any person considered extreme will be persecuted, because of this "PC" world that we now live in. I know many extreme atheists, agnostics, cult members, Muslims, Christians, the fact is we are all passionate about something. I love to see passion in a persons life, but when that "Passion" encourages a person to kill another in the name of religion then mike I am totally with you, that kind of extremism doesn't belong anywhere. Thanks for sharing this, it is very refreshing :) Tim
one of my more phylosophical moments Tim, i openly confess to being a christian but dont make a big deal about it to others, the fact i wear a huge cross around the neck 24/7 is just my little affermation of faith.
Thats amazing Mike, I had a great chat with Sinclair on Friday night and Kenny of course, sorry mate I didn't see the cross. I just find it amazing that in such a small group there is such faith :) Tim
Agree on your point's to some degree. You mentioned kids on council estates running ferral. This i dont agree with entirely. I earn minimum wage and own my home in a private street that's right next to a council estate. Many of my kids friend live on these estates. Neither my kids or their friends from council estates run feral. On the other hand I know a fairly well off couple through work they live in a very nice private estate their child and his other well off friends are some of the rudest kids i've met. I would be ashamed if my kids acted like them. Think it kind of reflects your third point on being raised expecting everything to be handed to you. Good video. Atb Steve
Great vid mate,,, very valid points.
All the best,
Mark
