Excellent Easy to follow instructions. Just got the bergen with yoke and was confused by all the strapping.

You forgot that the waist belt's tucks thru 2 webbing loops on the bottom of the pouches

Cheers a lot. Been bugging me how to do this for years. Do you know how to attach just one pouch?

    very good instructional video.
is there a demo video on rigging up a single rocket pouch to the yoke?
i think the front straps secure to the bottom of the pouch differently.
    well done

    Hi,
tahnk you very very much for this great Review :)
Now I know a lot more about the rocket pouches!!
My Yokes wgich I bought have only one male buckle on the strap (downside)... not even two of them..
that was my Problem .... I saw one who connected the 2. buckle with the female middle buckle of the pouches.. that was also ok, but the middle Loops seem to be much more efficient, when there is f.e. a air-mat in it.. :) (as you mentioned)
here in Germany it seems to be, that some Dealers have yokes and siedepouches, but the straps are not in stock.. so they use "normal" straps with one buckle instead of the original 2 buckled-straps...
Now I know how to use These items more efficient :)
thak you so much and best wishes
    Steffen

What's the third male clip for on the straps?

      Found out myself.
'The third clip is used when you are wearing webbing to clip the straps to the ammo pouches and keep everything secure.'

Hello , can i wear webbing belt and pouches with this ?

    • @totenvt
      @totenvt  3 года назад

yes but you'll need a seperate yoke to support the belt and pouches , i personally use the american vietnam war style or stripped down '57 pack yoke for that job, the rocket pouch yoke goes over the top of that

Could always sew the necessary clips onto molle gear to mount olderstyle kit and molle on the same vest/yoke?

43whisky I made a couple of Y shaped adapters out of webbing for each of the 2 bottom male clips on the yoke. This consists of some 20mm webbing, 2 female clip halves and 1 male that fits into the pouch clip, the 2 female clips accept the bottom male on the yoke and the shoulder strap.
