I instinctively went to type a question in the comments…ah, yes of course, I was not watching live. I held my breath in anticipation until I finally heard the words I was desperately hoping to hear. “solo play”. Music to my ears. 😅
Very much looking forward to both Realm and Legendary Dungeons. Just today, I received my package containing the Core Rules, Codex, Lairs expansion and 2D6 Cards. All are satisfyingly well manufactured and thank you for the extra care taken in your layers of packaging. I’ve been delving with the PDFs, but I’m looking forward to going full offline analog for a real old school PnP experience. I’ve said it elsewhere, but I really like your clever combat system. 2D6 scratches an itch similar to One Deck Dungeons or an old iOS game I liked called Rimelands. Not the same systems, of course, but I like it that with 2D6 Dungeon, dice combat introduces some excitement well beyond just bashing back and forth. Anyway, thank you for your clever, creative work. Brings out a bit of that kid in me when I first discovered both text adventures and the OG White Box.
Fantastic. That's what I was hoping for when I designed it. I have played many backward and forward combat systems and have always wanted to design something more interesting. So I'm pleased you're enjoying it Leslie and thanks for sharing...Toby
