      The horses have no choice in the matter...it's up to the people to see that they are as stress-free as possible. I'm sure they are very much loved, and cared for, but there needs to be more done to protect them from the hordes of idiotic people that descend on them daily!!

      "Horns blasting, drums, a woman yelling,"....No doubt some group or other demonstrating their right to protest under democratic rules....whilst abusing the majority.
      JSO is a classic example.

    I thought I heard Karen do her laugh ! BUT!! Here's an idea. Use a couple guards at each horse and have them guard a line of tourists to take pics. They can add rules: No touching the horses; There is a limited amount tourists allowed in each horse line each side of the horse each hour/each day. These horses are good animals and should be treated well. This is not Disneyland, six flaggs, etc

      @lizzyanthus1 Год назад +2

      Your comment about your mom reminds me of my grandparents, who immigrated to America from Germany. I hear he used to tell the family, "We're in America, speak English! He didn't allow German to be spoken, which in a way makes me sad. They didn't teach my dad, who was the first generation born in America, German, and hence none of my 3 brothers nor I learned either. Would have been nice to be bilingual, But he only thought to show respect to the country who accepted him and my grandmother, with open arms. What we did learn however, was how to show respect, and having good manners was always insisted on. I'm ever grateful for that.

      @@lizzyanthus1 OMGoodness. I think our families came from other countries after the bid war, and it was an honor for them as the Americans fought for them to be safe. When they decided to stay in the States it was a big deal. They wanted the chi,Daren and grandchildren to be able to be Americans in every sense of the word. My Sister and I often said we lived in two worlds. At home we were very British with all the manners and how we dressed, and at school we desperately tried to fit in with our peers. It was very hard. Now, as an old lady myself, I tend to be more British in habit each day. I totally respect the education I received, and the work I did as an adult. Only those of us in the in between generation appreciate the journey! I’m so happy to hear you are from Germany! I married a German Boy! We were together for forty years until his death during Covid. Thank you for your reply, I wish you well and health and happiness. It’s a Blessing to be multidimensional don’t you agree?! ♥️🕊🙏🙋‍♀️🤗
