This is Horseguards . Nothing directly to do with the Palace. The footguards at Buckingham Palace have been behind the fence for years ,because of the crazy tourists. No these troopers have been guarding their Regimental HQ for 380 years.
Imagine being that old guy and seeing yourself in a RUclips video titled "dumbest tourist ever." But I don't think he's being disrespectful, he's just an old guy who was standing in the wrong spot. I see a kiosk selling royal themed items and a sign pointing to the museum and gift shop. They are catering to and encouraging tourism, so you will get a lot of tourists and some of them will stand in the wrong place by accident.
The armed officers should be stricter towards the tourist during the changing of guards. Some tourists are ignorant and stubborn and they only think about taking pictures or videos of the event without paying attention that the guards are all on duties and not to be there for display.
I've seen other videos where they grab the harness, to have their photos taken. How disrespectful and stupid can they be. Feel sorry foe the riders and the horses.

These men are soldiers on duty, and it's only thanks to their training and intelligence that a lot of accidents are avoided. Maybe tourist should stay on planned paths that prohibits them to get too close to the guards
The elderly man did not know the horse was to go under the arch. He was sweet and appreciative, acknowledging the rider. As soon as he realized, he hurried out of their way. No need to be mean. Remember some people have dementia tho im not saying he might have.

I don't think it's the same for the guards, i think they are well used to it by now and that they shouted just to have a more effective and quicker impact...and it worked indeed. Now, not anymore of course.
Is English your second language? #nonsense

@@moyaingram7166 well, you might say that but I couldn't possibly comment. 😆

Good painting

Yes, definitely a new edition for the HGP 🪴
That person doing the painting is doing an amazing job I hope that he sells it to someone that’s great full to own it
People need to realize they have a job to do ,respect the guards and horses
It’s so embarrassing to see American tourists behave so badly and treating these soldiers and their horses with such disrespect! I say to them- would you do the same to the guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier if you were in Washington D.C.? Think about that!!
Should these people be allowed out on their own, where are the carers 🤪🤪🤪
Did not orange clown respect rules at the Unknown tomb!
Fabulous artist.
Absolutely!
The painting by the gentleman in the white fedora and glasses is amazing! I would love to have it.❤❤❤
The palace should authorise a sign saying do not touch or hinder horses a fine will be issued
This is Horseguards . Nothing directly to do with the Palace.
The footguards at Buckingham Palace have been behind the fence for years ,because of the crazy tourists. No these troopers have been guarding their Regimental HQ for 380 years.
what a lovely horse at the end.
King's guards are hot AF. 🔥💪🏻
The armed officers should be stricter towards the tourist during the changing of guards. Some tourists are ignorant and stubborn and they only think about taking pictures or videos of the event without paying attention that the guards are all on duties and not to be there for display.
they have zero powers with the general public, they are MOD police and the guards are there for display, they are a tourist attraction.
Yes but not everyone is perfect, with it and on the ball, are you?
🙄 Oh my God, such lack of awareness. Insane.
Something different thank you for this 👍
Love the painting of the guard
Absolutely great right! 👏
I've seen other videos where they grab the harness, to have their photos taken. How disrespectful and stupid can they be. Feel sorry foe the riders and the horses.
These people behave as though these soldiers are Disney land replicas. The disrespect is appalling
do tourists automatically become stupid when they step off the aeroplane?
A full review should be carried out and excluding tourists from areas behind gate and barriers to keep them away from Guards and horses should be imposed.
Outstanding painting
Stupid tourist standing in front of the box and blocking it trying to take a photo while the Gaurd was performing his duty.
That painting is brilliant , I wish that the artist could give me lessons. It deserves a place in the palace.
I would love to see more of the artist's work. Exquisite!
,When are these people going to realise that the guards are working soldiers , this is not bloody Disney world 😡😡😡😡😡
Love all the artists
Why didn't the police sort them out. The silly woman filming and deliberately standing in the way. They should have shoved her.
I was shouting at the screen…leave the horses alone! 🤬
Beautiful painting! AND they are the best soldiers in the British Army. I read it, so it is true! And the best looking!
First there is an old guy, standing in front of the entrance to the Archway, waving at the soldier with a stupid smile on his face while he takes a photograph; and there is a silly old lady who doesn’t get out of the way, drops her stuff in the ground and laughs like it’s so funny. I despair for humanity when I see fools like this.
If you can't touch the soldier then you shouldn't be able to touch the horse. Just my opinion.
Who are the Artists, they're fantastic.
Wonderful right! 👏
This is a huge, powerful animal, albeit a well-trained one. How dare they?
senior brain! 🤣🤣 but i give tha man grace...did u see him wave & smile? he had no idea what he was doing was wrong. there are rude people & there are people who make an innocent mistake. not dumb.
100 % agree with you.
No I'm sorry, but I reckon I'm older that he is and he was standing directly in front of an open door, with a 16 hand horse coming towards you with a guard dressed up etc., etc., I think he knew exactly what he was doing as did the people with him. I;m not saying he was rude, but like a lot of elderly people I suspect he thought he could get away with it.
Oh dear oh dear.seems we elderly people are trying to be naughty.another one that thinks we boomer's trying it on because were old.what did someone say once ?oh yes it was we shouldent be here.well i hope when your of this certian age that you enjoy the level of disrespect that we have to put up with and get blamed for just about everything.believe me your time will come.
Nice painting.
The police need to be stricter with these dumb idiots where did that stupid man think the horse was going waving at it wasn't going to help and it was that womans fault she got knocked on the arm. who did she think he was talking too. Need a policeman on the sentry doors or that nice guard who came out before it is obvious that these people just see an opening and walk through the horses muck without a thought. Well done to the guard on the horse and his calm approach. Those two artists are capturing the guards beautifully,
American visitor's question to tour guide at Edinburgh Castle: ''Why did you have to build it so high up? You should have taken tourists into consideration when it was built.'
Reminds me of another tourist question - about Windsor Castle. "Why did they build it so close to London airport"?
@@johnmillar2818 Terrible lack of foresight!
Or again about Edinburgh Castle - why did they build it so close to the railway station 😂
Edinburgh Castle again - Why did they build it in the middle of the city? 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I just Can't believe that STUPID Guy Done that. He put he's hand up did he really think that the Guard 💂 was going to stop whilst he took a picture? Unbelievable. That Guy's painting was just Amazing ♥️
A wild moment! And yes, a wonderful painting indeed. 🙏
No he unwittingly made a mistake,be more tolerant!
It's fine and sweet,
when the tourists
gently stroke the
horse, so that it
doesn't jump or flinch☺️.
🐴🇬🇧💕🐴🇬🇧
But , on balance, I really
wish people wouldn't touch
the horses....
It's not a Petting Zoo....
🇬🇧🐴💕☺️🐎💕🇬🇧
Just had an idea ! Inspired by the conifers in tubs, inside the square, behind the boxes :
Potted shrubs ! So the public couldn't reach the horses.
Tourists treated it like it’s bloody Disneyland! 😡
People should understan that being on holiday does not mean you can ignore good manners nor that other people have to pardon everything.
Yes, exactly true ......
I gather most people have never seen a horse up close or touched one? I understand their curiosity, but people have to understand that these are not normal horses. They are guards, military, working horses. They are not zoo, circus, petty animals. They should not be touched! It is like somebody just waltzing up to you and your baby/child wanting to touch them. You wouldn't like that too much, and may even have some mixed words for them.
