      @Billings Montana Homes I was suprised how lively and similar to my home town (Wichita Falls, TX). Went to the zoo and stayed at the Dude Rancher Lodge). Wouldn't mind going back up there when my company needs me to go to the office.

    3:30 There are no African lions at Zoo Montana. It only has animals that are native to cold climates in its outdoor exhibits.

    There is a family entertainment center with two separate locations in Billings, Montana. One indoor and one outdoor with many activities for ages preschool to adult! Wild Rose Action Center.

    I drove parts of your state, saw lots of burned trees. Forest fires seem to be a problem

      Yes we have very dry summers and wildfires are common!

      Lodge pole pines, among others, have pine cones that won’t open unless they’re in the extreme heat of a forest fire. It’s how they reseed. I moved there from the Pacific Northwest and decided to learn something before I judged the scenery

      Realtors don’t drive the price of anything up. We are here to serve our clients. Buyer demand and buyers being willing to buy is what affects pricing. Supple and demand.

    Having been born and raised in Billings and then moved to the Phoenix metro area, I would say the thing I miss the most about Billings is the traffic -- big city traffic and freeways are the pits. And I fondly remember those wonderful Montana autumns (no scorpions also :-)

      I completely relate. I grew up outside of Washington DC and the traffic was the pits. My dad lives near Phoenix now and wants me to visit and I’m not so sure about the heat and the scorpions haha!!

      @@Stinger522 it’s true! Our winters can be rough to get anything done so there usually is road construction when there’s no snow and ice. There’s a lot of remodeling of downtown spaces and development going on in various places as well.

      Hi! Some realtors do rentals typically if they own a property management company or have their own investment properties and are the landlord. I don’t currently do either so I recommend looking at the different property management company websites to see what’s available. You can simply google “billings Montana property management companies” and look at each one. You can also check out for rent.com and Zillow however be very careful of scammers. Never send money to someone without first viewing a place or meeting the landlord/owner!

    we are thinking of moving from ca. but ppl say it's dangerous but I'm wondering if its gonna seem like home to me bc I'm right by stockton where there's crime non stop or if itll feel safer ?
    we were at tj maxx and someone stole from the store lol

      @@d333vyn I’ve never been to Stockton but I’ve been to various places in California and I do feel it is different. We have a much smaller population but I don’t think it’s in your face or noticeable like California. I’ve had many clients move here from higher crime areas like Portland seattle and cities in California and they do love it here.       @@movemetomtyou’re awesome…I’m not from California - I’m from Florida (don’t worry) I’m a 2nd amendment guy, always voted conservative, and yes….planning on retiring soon (a couple of years). I hate the heat, the big city, I like small towns and I’m a lone wolf that prefers a quiet-er life and outdoor life. Stayed in Florida bc of family and work but I’ve done my research and will visit Billings very very very soon. Thank you 🙏🇺🇸

    I just want a slower lifestyle and be around people who aren't toxic and negative. Too much of that happens where I live now

      @@movemetomt I have a question. I know you deal with homes but is it hard to find apartments or jobs in Billings since my wife and I are strongly considering Montana as our new home and that is our only concern

      @@justinchimento5654 apartments can be challenging. I have heard that some have waitlists. A new apartment complex was recently finished I believe it’s called Zimmerman Luxury but I am unsure the price of those. Jobs are not that challenging to find but it depends on the type of work you do. I feel like I see now hiring signs everywhere. I moved to Montana from Washington DC almost 10 years ago and I haven’t looked back. I hope that you find the peace you’re looking for and get away from whatever has been toxic & negative.

Yeah we dealt with no being able to afford an apartment here because a 1bedroom is almost $2k for a decent one and saw that of course it's way cheaper in Montana but we have plenty of experience in restaurants and cleaning (currently have a cleaning business but not wanting to deal with that anymore) so I'm sure with all the good restaurants out there that shouldn't be too hard to find a job.       As a licensed realtor I can’t discuss topics that are protected by civil rights and fair housing laws but I will say there is plenty of opportunity for more diverse foods, restaurants and other diverse shops to open here.
