Coming here to thank you for pointing out that Patrick Spikes did not steal the Buzzy animatronic. I'm also happy that the topic of the theft had less coverage in this video than the actual show. There's just so much about Cranium Command that can and should be discussed that isn't the theft, with the concept art, the scrapped Colossal Pictures version, and the final version. There's still new things being discovered, and I'd love to see more attention focused on Cranium Command itself and its history.

I think you hit the nail on the head with saying Spaceship Earth is oddly not the thesis and that shocked me for a second before I really thought it through. Spaceship Earth is the prolouge. Horizons is the Promise. A promise that has not been met yet. But maybe one day if we can all continue to work and build and dream. We might one day be able to do it.
Anyways. Great video! You do bring up some good points parts of Epcot did not age well but nothing does. If they had the courage to update the parts that needed updating every few years and didn't fiddle with Imagination as much as they did. It could have been unstoppable.
