    Kore has 3 compact buckles for appendix carry. I have there black x7 and its wicked comfortable. To be honest my kore is an upgrade from my next belt as far as material quality.

    I’m going to pick up the Nexbelt. I have 4 overall Kore belts (1 leather, the battle belt, and 2 nylons) and I have to wear the buckle at the 8, 7, or 6 position to be able to carry appendix

    • @ballisticallychallenged
      @ballisticallychallenged  11 месяцев назад

      That is the thing I don't like... I have a nexbelt also. It's not as rigid as the Kore, but it's still a decent belt..... I've thought about buying an extra nexbelt buckle and putting it on the Kore belt.

    those 1-3/4 kore belts are a lot more stiffer I would say prob too stiff for ccw glock 19 so I do 1-1/2 kore belt and works like a charm.

    I run a 1911 on my multicam arrid kore belt most days. It is solid and my all time favorite.

    Kore makes 1.5 inch EDC belts & 1.75 inch Garrison belts which is what you have. Kore also makes leather gun belts & dress belts. Also Kore sells appendix belt buckles that are much smaller.

    I have a black kore 1.75" belt and it is WAY STIFFER than the Nexbelt edc belts, no comparison like twice as much thats why kore says they dont recommend for edc usage on their site.

    • @ballisticallychallenged
      @ballisticallychallenged  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, it is a lot stiffer. The edc one is stiffer than the nexbelt as well.

    After 8 years running a busy range outside Houston I am what you would call ballistically challenged. Most of us here run the kore belts for edc in the shop and there battle belts for training. Very nice, very adjustable system if you like to adjust your load and want comfort. It is what I recommend.

    Good comparison, thanks for posting. FYI for appendix carry I've been threading the belt off-center, so the buckle sits 1 loop to the left. That your leaves the entire middle section above your fly available, basically the entire space between your first center-left and center-right belt loops.

    Buy a smaller size clip. There are thousands of different ones out there in a bunch of sizes.

    I have both of those belts. The next belt is way more comfortable. I have a belly so the buckle on the next is oval. Which makes it not dig into my belly. Next over the kore 100%.
    The kore is so stiff it makes sitting down uncomfortable as hell. If you have a belly and your a dad bod get the next belt. I waisted my money to figure it out

    I’ve had my nexbelt for almost a year now, it’s a tad different than yours. It does have a clasp and screws on the back of the buckle. I love my belt. It’s been great, also it has “broke in” a little meaning it’s stiff but not as stiff as it was new which means it’s more comfortable to wear and it’s still ridged for carry.

    I use the small Kore x7 buckle on 1.5 inch belt most days and that does work great for appendix. I would not do aiwb with a range belt.

    Try the alias receiver u will love it. Get rid of that clip and attach the alias clip to it so then u can attach it to the alias receiver

      Do you carry a large, always available tourniquet to stem the arterial flow from your femoral artery and/or testicles? Cause you should.

    • @ballisticallychallenged
      @ballisticallychallenged  Год назад

      No I do not..., I have multiple packs and bags with first aid/emergency supplies in them (tourniquets included) but no I don't carry one on my person anytime I conceal carry. And of all the possible places to get shot, the area you describe would be the least likely.

  • @petermoore5534
    @petermoore5534 2 года назад

    Sir you are trying to carry appendix on a 1.75" range belt. Why?? In case you didn't know Kore has a few small buckles for appendix carry and a lot of smaller 1.5" belts too. I know cause I appendix carry with kore belts and they work great. You should have done that comparison.

    • @ballisticallychallenged
      @ballisticallychallenged  2 года назад

      Why not? Why conceal carry a full size 2011? Some people want to...they are both good belts, I know they have thinner belts, that's just the model I have. I like the Kore belt other than the buckle width. From what I've seen, kore's smallest buckle is still wider than the nexbelt's buckle, and it's a pain to wear the buckle on the side for appendix carry if the buckle is too big.

  • @Harrylee735
    @Harrylee735 10 месяцев назад +1

    Ahhh yeah, thats like the 1-3/4" kore range belt... its not meant to be an edc belt bro. Hello you wouldnt run their battle belt for edc either.

    • @ballisticallychallenged
      @ballisticallychallenged  10 месяцев назад

      I know.... It's the belt I had at the time to compare to. I now have the edc Kore belt also, which is a good belt. But I still prefer the nexbelt. Maybe if I could put a nexbelt buckle onto the Kore belt, that would be the best of both worlds for me.👍

    I have that same nexbelt supreme and the small push button got stuck up inside the buckle body so I used a small tool to pry it out but that did not work out. Do you have any promo codes to buy a a new one? I am a few months past the warranyt at this point.
