On the photograph near the projector lens part --> I have 2 projectors that are about 15-20 ft distance with each other. How will I take the photo if I'm using 2 projectors. Thank you.
LumaMap can only output to one projector at a time so it's not perfectly suited to a multi-projector set-up. But what you would have to do is go through the process for each projector, i.e take a photo from close to the lens of one projector, generate your content for the surfaces that that projector is going to cover. Then repeat the process for the other projector. Then in some other software, like photoshop or GIMP etc, composite both generated facades together, masking the projector content for their appropriate surfaces. I'd recommend you keep the seed number the same for both projectors' generations so they generate content that will be as cohesive as possible, despite being two different generations. Does that make sense?
I have attempted to follow this tutorial numerous times. The issue I have is that when I open the saved image of the house to line it with the actual house, all I see is exactly what my computer screen sees. The image is so far up the house with no way to adjust the location. Utilizing the dots to skew the image is limited because they would have to go outside the computer screen to line up with the house. What am I missing??
Sounds like maybe you haven't got your projector set up as an external display? Check out the instructions at 00:30 and the follow the links in the description
In terms of video support in LumaMap, there are some known bugs for Apple Silicon. But if you are not working with video, the core AI workflow in LumaMap is supported for Silicon (M1+)
Apart from the tips in this video on mapping, you could experiment with different cameras or photo settings. Wide angle lenses can produce more distortion which can be harder to map.
@@LumaBox I am very familiar with projection mapping. I was just using your product to do a remap and comparison versus the traditional click and drag.
@@LumaBox Thank you for the reply, so it would still require software such as mad mapper I guess to use multiple panes?. However this feature would be great to see on a future version of LumaMap 😁🤞🏾.
Looking forward to giving this a go! Thank you for putting it together!
Hope you enjoy it! Let me know how you get on
Can I choose several displays at the same time for design and mapping? That is, display output.

I have a M1 Mac Pro.....will the software work with now?

Hi, can I import videos, gif instead of image?
You can import videos. Unfortunately gifs are not supported
What do you use for window covering?
That’s an easy one to answer: ruclips.net/video/HFc-V7CkWxc/видео.htmlsi=jMyddYNEN3BRQs84 🙂
I have been at it for an hour, took a picture practically on the lens and still can't get lined up

Can this software be used to map multiple videos / animations to sections of the house ?
The software currently maps 1 plane at a time, but you can export each plane and then combine them in other software

@@aliosullivanuk At the moment, yes. We hope to bring this feature to a future version of LumaMap too!! 👍🏼
