Just How Good Was Kaká?

  • For fleeting moments in the game, the brilliance of one man carries his wholeteam. The game stops when the ball is at their feet. Anything could happen when they have the ownership of the ball. They might create a goal or go on a marauding run of their own. Lest we forget, theysend a thunderbolt into the rival’s net. Goalkeepers and defenders get heavy feet when they see that man in the opposition team.

    Fun fact: Kaká loved AC Milan so much that he moved to Real Madrid because AC Milan had economical problems and the money from his transfer saved the team from going bankrupt. He didn't want to leave but he sacrificed himself for the sake of the team he loved also Kaká never cared about money he was born from a rich family and he was always rich he never cared about the money from the transfers... Excuse my English it's not my main language
    Edit: He loved the game of football very much he didn't play for the money like some modern players do and you could see that from the passion he had for the game and for his team

      That's not a fact, actually.

    • @denis1632
      @denis1632 11 месяцев назад +2

      That's not true at all, until Kaka's transfer Ac Milan had a political at the Club if a player wanted to leave they needed to make a conference press and tell that they want to leave, yes they added Kaka to market (and this is the first time Milan did that) because they had financial problems but Kaka also wanted to leave. Madrid, City, United made offers for Kaka, but he said if he will ever leave Ac Milan, he would only go to Madrid.

    • @raynoraynov5651

      @@denis1632 , you're not 100% correct too.
      It's not true that if a player wanted to leave, it was needed to make a press conference to tell everyone that they wanted to leave. This happened only once, in 2006 when Shevchenko wanted to leave.
      What about Kaka, while he was an AC Milan player, he'd never closed the door for a transfer, but at that time he was happy at Milan and didn't plan to change the club.
      It's not true that the club had financial problems which would force the club to sell him, one year later Milan signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which is not a cheap player at all.
      But anyway there were 2 problems.
      The first one was that every year Kaka's father, Bosco Leite went to the management to ask for an increase of his salary.
      The second problem was that Kaka had an issue with his left knee, which was influencing his game, he was loosing his pace, and it was harder and harder for him to perform at high level. He had operate that knee 1-2 years later.
      So until January 2009 AC Milan had refused every offer from another club to buy Kaka. That's when the club decided that it's not worth it to keep him with these 2 problems. So when the crazy offer (100 mln GBP) from Manchester City arrived, AC Milan for the first time said "Yes".
      But Kaka didn't want to play for Manchester City (despite his friend there Robinho), they still were not that great as they are now, so Kaka refused the offer. He wanted to choose his next club. So he stayed for another 6 months and accepted the offer from Real Madrid, even though it was for less money.

    • @denis1632
      @denis1632 11 месяцев назад

      @raynoraynov5651 Ac Milan did had financial problems, I see that you are an Ac Milan fan, and it's strange you don't know.
      At a press conference in Recife, where Kaka was on international duty ahead of Brazil's World Cup qualifier, Kaka revealed he rejected the move to England as he did not want to leave Milan mid-season. Kaka also added: "I wanted to stay on at Milan, but the world (financial) crisis affected a lot of clubs, especially those like Milan which are businesses, now another chance came up, and AC Milan is in a big crisis (financially). For me, the sporting project (at Madrid) is interesting and will be an important boost to continue my career at the highest level."
      Milan fans also played a huge role in January as they asked him not to leave in mid-season.
      About Robinho is also not true in that press conference he also said that he is not going to Madrid for money as he had other offers (City, Chelsea, etc.) He also said: "But I knew I would only leave Milan to play for Real Madrid".

    • @raynoraynov5651
      @raynoraynov5651 11 месяцев назад

      @@denis1632, yes, I am an AC Milan fan, and please don't pretend to know more stuff about the story than me, it's not serious.
      I repeat, next year AC Milan signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which was by no means a cheap player.
      Of course the world financial crisis was a problem, it was everybody's problem, but at that time not that much, and it wasn't the reason why Kaka was sold.
      It's simple: considering his high salary and increasing health problems, AC Milan decided to monetize him while his price was still high.
      It was not easy decision, Galliani later admitted that he cried when he signed the documents, but it was the best move for the club.
      What about the Kaka's press conference, do you really think Kaka would reveal everything on event like this? Do you really expected him to admit that he has problems with his knee which prevents him to play like he was playing in the previous years?
      Of course he can not say that, he had to give another explanation.
      If his real driving force was to help financially the club, he would accept the offer from Manchester City, which was way higher.
      But he didn't want to play there. He wanted to play for Real Madrid, there were chasing him for many years.
      Look, I don't blame him, and I don't blame the club. It was not an easy situation, he was the symbol of the club and was the fan's favorite, but the club didn't want to pay such high salary to a player which performance was destined to decrease in the next years, and the club decided to monetize while the player's value was still high.

    Even tho most of the people are saying that he was a flop for Madrid i strongely have to disagree, 29 goals, 39 assists, 68 contributions in 120 matches for a player who was most of the time injured and also not preferred by the manager i think is amazing. I don't think he was a flop, every time he played he had a huge impact in Madrid games. Kaka my favorite player of all time❤❤.

    Kaká was a great player and has his biggest impact individually in Europe in 06/07. But I have to defend Utd on this...
    Ferdinand didn't play either of the semi-final legs against Milan. Utd had a major injury crisis. The first leg at Old Trafford, neither Ferdinand or Vidić played. Utd still won that game despite 2 brilliant moments from Kaká - but Ferdinand wouldn't have been out-foxed as easily as the slightly makeshift back-4.
    In the 2nd leg in Milan, Utd were fatigued after a difficult game at Goodison Park... the injury crisis not only meant they couldn't field a full-strength team, but also that they couldn't rest and rotate the squad. So Utd travelled to Milan for the 2nd leg, exhausted and missing key players.
    Milan, meanwhile, had a team of veteran champions. Big game players. They only finished 4th or 5th in Serie A... their focus was Champions League success. Don't quote me, but I think Kaká at 25 years old, was maybe the youngest player in their team.
    Utd had something like 12 first team players injured around that time. Ferdinand missing both semi-final games with Milan, was possibly the biggest miss!?
    I do believe a a full-strength Utd team that season would've beaten Milan to reach the final.
