This is the 100th episode of our tiny RUclips channel, thanks to all our subscribers for listening to two old geeky brothers from Kentucky.
Good talk fellas congrats on episode 100
Thanks man, we appreciate it and you.
When MTV first rolled out I wouldn’t have figured that it would ever die. Watching music videos and the creativity in them put music on a whole new level of entertainment. I had it on all the time back then.
That's what was great about old MTV, you could watch it or just listen. So many of those first videos are iconic now. I brought some up on RUclips for my 6-year-old daughter and she was mesmerized. She liked KISS and Sinead O'Connor, best. Old MTV certainly was better than that brain rotting TikTok crap.
The author of Fables tried to make his stories public domain a while back. It was really funny hearing the arguments people had about it and it basically came down to "no because DC owns the publishing rights." But it was worth a shot! I'd love to actually get all those stories.
If I remember correctly, it all started because DC owed Willingham money and he was having to fight them constantly to get it. Pick those Fable issues up, even if it is in Trade paperback form, they are such great reads. Bill's writing really inspires me.... such an imagination.
What a tragedy about MTV. If you guys waited for it to air as we did. It felt like it to forever to come on. 1st video aired was Video Killed the Radio Star.
When MTV originally aired, it was a game changer in media. I feel like if they had released on disk and maybe even had an hour-long show called "MTV Retro", that had old uncut footage from the 80's, it would have served Paramount better. Paramount is in financial trouble, actually selling stuff off the lot. Paying the price for poor decisions.
I'm happy Gina won.but Disney having a dating app for certain IPs is just stupid Traci.
Gina has a ways to go yet, Disney will try to tie it up in the courts for years longer, but in the end, they will pay, and everyone knows it, including them.
Yes, a Disney dating app, is goofy.
The new Hellboy trailer, looks like they are leaning into the horror aspect of the character.
I watched the trailer after the video, since Rob mentioned it. Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy wrote the story, so it may be good. The dude playing Hellboy does look a bit beta.
