I recently bought a hydrometer/thermometer and took readings around the house and was surprised to realize how dry the air was in various rooms. The RH (relative humidity) at the driest area was around 23% with the highest being around 31%. I bought humidifiers and placed them around the home. In my bedroom I raised the humidity to around 50%. I instantly noticed great benefits within the first week. I was waking up prior to dry ashy skin and within the first week with increased humidity, my skin was considerably less dry and it's been healing more each day. I recommend monitoring the air in your home especially if you plan on trying NMT and MW. If you have dry air in your home it'll just wick away the water you have within your skin and body which is counter productive to your recovery. Good Luck!

MW helped me a lot especially during the oozing stage to dry out the skin and help healing faster🙏 Love this interview!!

on the tlc show she was on she was given emollients, antibiotics and immunosuppression medication and it helped her skin loads - strange to see her go a different way when this seemed to be working so well

All those things did was suppress it, it didn’t get to the root cause. So by going cold Turkey she healed her skin entirely rather than suppressing with all that crap

I did moisturizer withdrawal during COVID-19 wfh. I did it for a few months until it got so many open wounds that I decided to go back on moisturizers. I still think mw helped because I felt that the skin "healed" faster after that.

I’m going through it right now and it’s sucks I don’t even wanna see people right now and I’m not putting any moisturiser on and leaving my skin alone until it heals
I keep picking it though 😮 I gotta leave it ❤❤

      How is your healing going?
I’m currently going thought MNT and seeing slight improvements. I’m sleeping better and trying to keep my home at a low temperature at all times.

How did you guys get on since you left the comment? I'm going through tsw right now. Only two weeks in and already found not using moisturiser feels better but it's also really hard with how tight and painful your skin becomes especially around my neck.

@@mjfunk7082 I’ve not used anything on my face since feb This year only vaseline and I’ve decided to stop hair dye too

      @@mjfunk7082any update ?
I used cortisone on my cheeks because of massive redness and itchiness that was caused after a bad reaction to a moisturizer. I used them in 7 days during 10 days. My skin in those areas now feels very tight and uncomfortable.
I will stop from now on and hope that my skin will recover.

I’ve never moisturized my body, even hands the odd time they get dry. My face on the other hand won’t let me. I’ve tried everything except pushing through the dryness withdrawal. It’s so bad, it seems unhealthy and scares me. Plus, I never have enough time if I were to push through. I think I’m going to try weaning off by just moisturizing the dry areas and slowly using less and less 🤷🏻
