I Got the hippo and snail done. Mine look nice, but not as beautifully done as yours💕. You must be using thinner yarn then I used ,my hippos mouth was bigger, maybe cause I used red heart 4ply yarn lol thank you for tutorials I’ve got total 12 animals done so far!!

To the hippo mouth I used same yarn with 2.5mm crochet hook..well done from now I finished 17 animals.. good luck 👍 thank you 💝

Apparently I can't seem to make the hippo nose, I end up with to many stitches left at the end at row 2 - I somehow don't get it 🙈
This project gives such joy making it, thank you for the enormous work you have done creating it - what a beautiful gesture sharing It here for free, thank you🙏
I am making 2 blankets at the same time. 2 boys is going to be baptized soon and they will both recieve this blanket from me💙💙
I still have to admit that the hippo nose is testing my patience quite a bit 😬

It's in the first video in this series. I wrote it down so I can reference it if I forget, maybe that would work for you. I imagine it would be tedious to post the same base pattern over and over for as many parts to this pattern there is and so it was done once at the beginning.
